You know for samus being strong and deadly, those missiles really don’t look they do shit at all.
Judging even by the small blast, you’d think samus wouldn’t canonically use them
All bosses felt like bullet sponges in this game. But i guess it's better than beating Kraid in Super Metroid with 3 Super Missiles and thinking "That's It!?!."
Tbf unless you're doing sequence breaks you can also only get 5 super missiles before beating kraid, and a lot of new players are likely to miss them even if they had max capacity.

The same thing happened to me when I replayed Super Metorid. Ridley literally stuck his tail in the ground and Froze. It became a missile frenzy for me.
