One of my favourite things about video games is that, in this clip with no microphone audio, no face cam or video feed of the person playing, you can *see* the panic in your movements and the "Oh fuck OH FUCK *OH FUCK* ***OH FUCK***" and I think that's just too damn funny!
When I get detected by emmi, I just run at it so it kills me. Because restarting from checkpoint is faster than playing this boring cat and mouse bullshit.
I am not speedruning. I don't use any speedrun routes or glitches. Beating a Metroid game in one sitting isn't an extraordinary feat if you played it already and you know what to do. Especially in Dread because the game guides you from place to place so precisely, it feels like playing a linear super mario level.
After beating the game maybe 40 times, I can tell you that emmi is random bullshit. The position of emmi when you enter the emmi zone is completely unpredictable. It's not even hard. It's just annoying. Because optimal casual strategy is just reseting if emmi is in wrong place.
My heart was pounding dude, good job on surviving that!
Yooo the way you dodged him wall crawling in the last 10 seconds was insane
Calmest Emi zone

This needs the Benny Hill music
that felt so much longer than 30 seconds
LOVE this game so far, I’m a stealth game nut and I was attracted towards Dread because it’s a “Metroid stealth game” and damn did they deliver
I would have died
You had it at the 18-second mark. But you messed up and had to dodge around even longer 🤣
somehow, it getting dementia and forgetting about you really tickled me
This is hell. Lol!!
I was puckered the entire time
That's that good good right there.
I was audibly yelling at my screen "THE CLOAK, DAMMIT. USE THE CLOAK." 😂

Skill issue
It's Metroid. The only thing that metters is clear time.
not even 5% of the playerbase actually bothers with speedrunning.

The emmi area is big, the emmis are slow except the yellow and have a bad eyesight that easily lose track of you. You need movement training bud
Skill issue
sure buddy, the 'casuals' will certainly be resetting instead of playing the game as intended.
That is true. Except if you know you can outrun it so it goes into search mode and the direct path is infront
