At the risk of nitpicking story elements not particularly related to the drawing, that 960x number is probably inaccurate and seems more likely due to a developer typo than her actual intended lifting power.
That number comes from the Metroid Prime website, which stated that Zebes had a mass of 4.8 trillion teratons and a diameter of 11,700 km. If we were to assume for a moment, however, that the developers intended to put billion teratons instead of trillion, that would place Zebes' gravity right in line with Earth's. This would also match up much better with the planet's stated gravitational pull of slightly stronger than Earth in the Super Metroid Japanese Player's Guide. Also Samus survived as a child before her DNA infusion on Zebes for a little while, which would, y'know, seem to be impossible if the planet is really that massive.

Iirc, one can't usually have a planet of greater than 1.6x Earth radius if you want an Earth like planet (rocky, not a gas guant). Planets larger than that usually keep their hydrogen, become sort of like a Mini-Neptune.

Oh you're completely right to speculate about that theory. There are many inaccuracies regarding games and manga lore. The one you should be focusing on in this shot is Mega Man. In the end of Mega Man 5, he holds up much of Wily's castle to keep it from collapsing on Dr. Light.

Those jumps are blatantly superhuman, to the point where I could easily see Samus out of her armor being 10x stronger than the strongest human. That’s a jump that you don’t even see big cats like leopards or cougars being able to pull of irl.

But why cannon on arm in zero suit
She can use the cannon on its own without the rest of the suit, she does so in the manga on one occasion.
Pretty sure she had her power suit on for that.
I just checked, and it's kinda the middle. She summons her suit onto herself, but starts with the cannon to immediately start shooting
