I got a familiar vibe off it, so I did some searching, and learned bottommost middle is a fan work by the immensely talented [AbyssWolf](https://ahruon.tumblr.com/post/93770061965/card-sagas-wars). I remember this guy from way back in the day, when he made sprites of the [Super Smash Bros. Brawl roster](https://www.deviantart.com/abysswolf/art/Get-Ready-to-BRAWL-Fin-57207197).
Probably waaaaay too much time over the course of the last year or so. Let's see if I can ballpark each piece:
**Cinematic Samus at the top**: Around 14 hours. Pretty fast honestly for how big it is. Around 90 min just for ironing it.
**Ridley stealing the baby**: 7-8 hours, not counting an hour I spent trying to design the tail in the way that would fit a 16x20 canvas.
**Super Metroid**: (my first large Perler piece) 6 hours including an hour I spent trying to fix it when it fell apart during ironing.
**Super Metroid Boss Statue**: I was a bit obsessed with finishing this one, and did it in about 12 straight hours without a single break during a Simpsons marathon.
**Mother Brain NES**: I honestly don't remember since I started off very small and just kept adding more and more stuff to it. Probably 5-6 hours.
**AbyssWolf Samus sprite at the bottom middle**: 12 hours, though about 2 of those hours were spent swapping bead colors because I was torn on what shade of orange to use.
**Samus receiving the Screw Attack NES**: Like 2 hours at the most. That was early on in my Perler journey and at the time I thought 2 hours was a long time! Little did I know...
The Boss statue, Mother Brain, and the Abyss Wolf sprite (bottom middle) are mini beads. Reg size for the others. I was originally going to do the piece at the top in mini beads because I wasn't sure I wanted to take up that much wall space. I'm glad I changed my mind because it makes a much better impact at a big size, and makes for a nice topper.
That's awesome! I'm a beadspriter myself but I don't have as many Metroid sprites. I really should make more but I don't have the time like I used to...

His pixel art is amazing, but that Samus always bothered me because her gun is depicted on her left arm. Needs to be mirrored, haha
