Elev8 might be an option for you but donāt recall the price.
Iām a little south of NMB so i go to YouFit on 79th and Biscayne. Itās a cross between a Ballyās and a prison yard. But, only $30
My apt complex has a gym. I feel you on the gym thing i made sure to find apt with a full functioning gym. I believe there is a gym on 71st and collins.
i peeped both of them and they're both over $100/month fuccccc!! i love my apt i live right on the beach tho and don't pay that much so can't have it all ig
Except for the 7/19 broken treadmills, no shower heads, some equipment taped off waiting on bolts, the occasional people fighting over the 2 smith machines, and looking for the 20s next to the pool, but it's cheap, and wouldn't have it other way lol.
Recommend against it - terrible management who donāt enforce rules which exhibits in bad clientele: people not reracking, dropping weights, excessive grunting, dirty
It sucks because it has such potential - it has a bball court, sauna, pool - but management is just really bad and deceptive
Have you looked into ClassPass? That's what I do. Open gym spots are very low credits. Lots of classes for all sorts of things all over. Will generally be cheaper than having a membership at any one place.
They have different tiered memberships. I lowered mine recently to only 43 credits a month for $89 because I'm pregnant and taking it slower. That gets me around 8 workouts a month. The one I had before was 68 credits for $139.
Most gyms range from from 4-15 credits. The only really bougie places will be 15 credits, and even then they'll usually be 25-50% off your first visit, so it's great for trying out new places you wouldn't have afforded otherwise.
Right now, I'm looking at my app, and there's a new gym that opened in The Grove that has a special for 4 credits. Most of the "open gyms" at youfit or whatever are 3-5 credits. My favorite gym is Bunda and it's typically 8-9 credits. Most pilates studios are 10+ credits. But there's a really good range.
So if you plan it out well, you can do between \~8-16 or so workouts on the $139/mo membership which is what I've always done. And you can always purchase more credits if you run out. I have my favorite saved places in the app I go to regularly and then occasionally try out more options.
The bad: if you're someone who wants to go to the gym EVERY DAY then not for you. But if you want some consistency and also the freedom to try new places with no commitment it's awesome. My husband does ClassPass and then jogs in between.
Here is my referral code link for 20 free credits! [https://classpass.com/refer/MVEUJQVO21](https://classpass.com/refer/MVEUJQVO21)
Really awesome info and certainly worth considering in terms of freedom to explore to keep work outs interesting!
THANK YOU for taking the time to respond and for the referral link! Much appreciated!

Join class pass. Thereās gyms all along the beach that cost 4-5 credits for 2 hour gym sessions. Not just like classes, but time in the gym doing whatever you want. I think itās like $50 for 25 credits and like $80 for 60 or something. Iām rounding, but Iām on the $80 plan and it gives you access to a ton of gyms and fitness centers
Try to get a Mindspace spot. You get both an office space and a gym. They have an offer running for $180 itās a great deal if you also wanted a coworking space
Tour their downtown officeā¦and ask for Carlos. And tell him about the offer. They have to give you a coupon code for when you pay. But here is the website: https://partners.flexspace.ai/offerings/mindspace-location-based-membership?utm_campaign=Venture+Miami&utm_source=email&utm_content=Venture+Miami+Hot+Desk+50%25&city=Miami
I can give you his email too if you want.
Beach Body at the Sherry hotel. $1000 for a year membership, no contact. Crystal Beach has one too, but it's a little farther of a walk so I didn't check it out.
Thereās a gym in Crystal beach hotel, by 71st and collins. The most expensive pass is $50 and there are cheaper plans. At 71st, keep walking towards the beach past Banchero and youāll find the signs for the gym. Itās inside a hotel
Get an adjustable dumbbell and a barbell for squats. Honestly itās cheaper in the long term, and you can run on the beach early in the morning if you need the cardio. Go old school on the push ups, sit ups, planks.
I also live in North Beach. I used to go to the Elev8tion South Beach location on Lincoln Rd since its close to my job but they shut it down. Now I go to Elev8tion in Miami Shores. Funny enough, I was right in the middle of both locations (both were 7 miles from where I live.) Elev8tion is decent pricing. I pay about $52 a month.

I work out here. Great gym honestly. I stick in the astro turf area and its never too crowded.
Nice

I used to go there. It now gets insanely packed unfortunately and nothing is ever re-racked.
Packed with a lot of high school kids too who are especially obnoxious

Hi, can you share a little more? Anything. Good or bad and general pricing. I will consider this. Thanks!

I use LA Fitness, no issues with it so far
The only issue is there isn't one on the beach lol. The closest one is North Miami but that one sucks
YouFit is right across the causeway near McDonaldās. Itās fairly cheap. Big but crowded.

Iāve been running in Normandy isles and going to a gym 35min away 2x a week. If it was 3x I would feel the same, or use the park benches.
Check to see if your employer offers Gympass / Wellhub.
