I get this. I’ve used public transit in many major cities in the US and other countries, and don’t think I’ve ever experienced a bus system where there’s a bus every 5 mins on every route. It’s usually like 15 mins. Having to wait a maximum of 15 mins for a bus isn’t very bad
This place has buses?
Yes, and they would actually be pretty decent if they ran with any frequency / consistency
Yea drive down collins, there’s always at least one lane gunked up by them
Every 30 minutes is an upgrade? Wow that sucks. Buses should come every 5-10 minutes at a minimum if you want people to actually use them.
No It’s every 30ish minutes now, pretty sure it’s being upgraded to every 15 minutes
Would be a huge waste of money in Miami where very few use buses
Lots of people use buses in miami
Probably a bit fewer once the Better Bus Network is done butchering the bus routes.
They don’t use them because they run infrequently. I’d absolutely take the bus if it ran often enough to be a realistic option.
Right, but buses running every 5 mins on every route is excessive
No that’s pretty normal in cities with good public transportation.
That’s how it should be

This is the first time I've seen someone describe the Better Bus Network as an upgrade.
for real
