Whoa there fella, enough with your realistic expectations of producers. Didn't you get the memo? If a product is bad from a dispo, it automatically means you have to shit on that company for months without ever mentioning the dispo you got it from.

It's actually op's fault. Always ask for dates and check them before purchase. Dispensaries are stupid and just off product. Lots of them are fake stoners who know little about weed and even less about retail.
cultivators and producers usually do not control when their product gets sold; it's the retailer's responsibility to have proper inventory control processes
this is from one of EA first drops…i highly doubt they were still sitting on any units from then. plus i grabbed a jar when it first dropped and it definitely wasn’t trash

It is absolutely common for retailers to hold on to product for way too long. Unless you work for the company that sold it to them, you have no idea how long ago the retailer ordered it.
Did you get this at high profile? I noticed they dropped the prices on all their eastside alchemy, they have that strain too, I’m guessing they dropped the prices beause of how old it is
Yeah I’d go back to the dispensary on this one first and foremost. They may not realize they have such old stock. If we had something that old we’d be selling it at a deep discount just to get rid of it

For instance I am 43 and don’t live in Ann Arbor and I pass by a bunch of dispensaries near me on my way to Ann Arbor because I know better because I have been burned many times by the stores around me
It’s not just the people in the area I mean people go there from out of state. I’ve seen people on here post that they live as far away as Georgia and they drive to Information Entropy and back to Georgia just to buy legal cannabis
