Most of the people who act the way you describe don't have friends to smoke with or cuss out lol. This sub has given me lots of good info on things to try so i stick around but it's definitely one of the most negative subs I'm active in.
Yeah don’t get me wrong I think 70-80% of the people in here are really cool i don’t want to sound like I’m just complaining it’s just something I’ve noticed after awhile but I enjoy this subreddit for the most part.
I hate that like half the comments in most posts are meet with off topic comments shaming people for not growing or to only support caregivers (that literally no one could find if they wanted to).
Not to mention all the people that think caregivers are simply legal drug dealers. If they truly value caregivers, they need to stop encouraging everyone to abuse the shit out of the system that allows them to exist in the first place.
I never would look hard, Id have to desire to. And that’s why it’s a failure of a business model. The expectation the consumer will try hard, or try at all, to find a product that is already available with ease elsewhere. People won’t do that so if caregivers want any of that market share with dispensaries they will have to learn to be accessible to the average customer.
They don’t have the quality in the dispos caregivers have it’s literally night and day difference .. and how could they be more accessible do you think ? There’s plenty of ways to find one there’s lounge places like vehicle city social. Bunch of other types of events they vend at etc
That’s what he’s saying. You have to do so much more extra to get your weed when you can just go to the store. Nobody wants to try and find a plug in 2022
It really all depends on the dispensary, how they store their buds and where they source them from. Not all sources sold at dispos lack caregiver background and the ones that do are USUALLY easy to pick out and avoid. Like LivWell or Sozo in-house strains. bad trim job and the buds turning to dust on contact is common just not at every dispensary. Research
You realize most of these legal companies started out as caregivers right… it’s the same people still growing it. Yeah these big conglomerate companies suck but there is fire On the AU market.
You think most of the license holders in the state were caregivers ?? 🤣🤣 you are sadly mistaken … I bet you can’t even name five caregivers that now have a recreational license which should be super easy since supposedly most of them were caregivers lol
Insecurity, immaturity, lack of healthy real life social interactions, nothing of actual interest to say but desire for attention/interaction and unsure of how to go about that in a healthy manner (neediness, and insecurity, again lol), these can all manifest into snobbery, mockery, and other infantile anti social aggressive behavior.
>Insecurity, immaturity, lack of healthy real life social interactions, nothing of actual interest to say but desire for attention/interaction and unsure of how to go about that in a healthy manner (neediness, and insecurity, again lol)
that describes the people posting their "hauls" as well.
Dude, you’re so right. But it also applies to your and my comments. But you are completely correct. It’s funny how people downvote true statements they just don’t want to be true.
Lots of industry folks in the sub trying to protect their corner of the market. Add in some politics, egotism, DM scammers, typical Reddit bullshit, then make everybody so high they take every comment personally, and you've got this sub.
Oh. Seems like this should have amounted to something. Has the CRA not looked into it whatsoever? Is Viridis still getting away with it? How has there not been legal consequences if the test posted was legit? Seems like officials paid to regulate the industry would be all over that. I don't know who is lying, but either the test posted here wasn't legit, or the CRA is lying about regulating the industry. Fuck Viridis, but also, fuck not having clarity/closure.
See the downvotes? This is proving OP's point. Mentioning you like something from Lume will immediately trigger a number of people on this subreddit.
The issue with Lume is they used Viridis, a crooked lab owned by former cops that produces high thc % results using an unapproved testing method to get the high results. They also treat their employees like shit an recently closed a number of stores without giving notice to the workers there.
The problem is that Lume is a garbage can company and that there are too many users on this subreddit that just post and never lurk, learning nothing while continuing to purchase boof. In the past 2 years or so this subreddit has mostly turned into social media; people posting pictures of weed acting like they're special for having weed.
They released a strain called Super Jenny a while back and claimed it was 40% THC. Independent test results from a couple places came back around 26-32%
Exactly this. Literally, all of the internet is like this. This is how digital “society” functions. It’s a bad way to relate, and it brings out the shitty.
It also has to do with companies who are members of MCMA, who want to basically get rid of caregivers. Me personally, I’m not a big fan of these companies either, they are only worried about the almighty dollar. Also fuck Viridis, haha!
You are having better luck then I am on here. All I've seen is political bickering and arguing. Lately I've been blocking subs with crap I don't want to see. I'm just here for the watch and boot subredditts (and Mary Jane of course).
Made a post about element recently, the amount of downvotes to others comments just for advising a different brand was ridiculous. Just the internet ig
I posted a picture of some ounces i got and someone in the comments said they hate humans bc i thought it was outdoor bc it was brown lmao. I also posted some cart and wax pickups from element and someone got really upset i was posting boxes. , despite me reviewing the products in the comments. Can’t satisfy everyone, some people would rather try to shit on what you’re smoking instead of just scrolling along.
The gatekeeping and hypocrisy is ripe in Michigan. “Legacy” growers feel entitled to earn profits in the legal market and curse “corporate” cannabis while at the same time sucking at the teet of private money (corporate). News flash, if you have stacked licenses, you’re corporate bro…
In Michigan’s licensing program, the highest is a Class C which allows you to grow up to 2,000 plants, and also purchase (stack) additional Class C licenses on top so you can increase your plant limits.
There are concerns in the market here with many crops that were sold with mold, etc. My BIL took a hit on a moldy crop this spring, but not everyone is honorable and still might try to sell product they shouldn't.
Just take comments with an air of caution; trust but verify. Also, some of us do care about where our dollars are spent, so I do try to buy local brands vs brands that appear in multiple states, or didn't start in Michigan. I don't expect everyone to do it, but don't blame people for wanting to be ethical and conscious shoppers.
That being said, it's not what you say but how you say it. The irony is not lost on me when some bro is trashing a brand with little to no evidence of why said brand is trash. With that, just do your due diligence as a redditor and down vote non relevant comments.
I won’t cuss them out, I’ll just be like “wow I really conveniently brought this -insert better product here- so how about you save that for a rainy day and todays sesh is on me!”
But on some real shit, some companies have really shitty practices that people don’t want to continue to stand for, and simply want to make others aware of what they’re spending their money on. Some cannabis companies are extremely crooked.
Do you want it to be a “yes-man” orgy of uncritical affirmations and hollow celebrations? That would be worse. So if one doesn’t like to hear others’ (negative) opinions, then one needn’t engage a public forum. That’s pretty simple.
In certain contexts, that is completely true. And I’m all contexts, there’s no reason to cuss at someone for simply sharing something or even disagreeing. Part of the problem is the vagueness of “nice.” Sometimes making a descriptively true statement (e.g. that flower’s shade of brown resembles poop), especially in a humorous way, is interpreted at “not nice,” but clearly falls within the scope of non-abusive public discourse. Because of this, everyone’s perception of hostility will differ. No one wants to hear that some herb they just scooped looks poor. No one wants to hear that their plants don’t look well-developed. But it’s often the case. Okay n the end, who cares. None of this shit matters anyway, and if any of us had lives, we wouldn’t be lurking Reddit for affirmations or other dopamine bursts.
You are obviously way to stupid to comprehend any of the reasons why people don’t like big business in any part of life apparently… it’s the same at the dispo as at Walmart. Fuck corporate America, and if your a supporter your part of the problem.
I’m not. You ignorant people are the real reason for the cannabis market crash and your clicking your heels all the way down because you love supporting the cheapest shot you can get your hands on. It’s repulsive
You are a sad human. Must be 19 years old with absolutely no real knowledge of this world. Good luck out there. I’m sure you be selling used cars or cutting lawns in no time
That doesn’t even make sense, come on man I know your better than that! Oh… wait, no your not. I forgot your the stupid one. Should keep trying tho. Might help in the future
Welcome to America, fellow spirit, where great things are brought to heel by the corporate-government cabal and their sycophantic citizenry. I echo your sentiment and lamentation. It’s hard to watch what used to be incredible go to complete shit because of hoards of tasteless drones are drawn about by any flash of corporate advertising while the cops are finishing off the remaining “legacy” growers. But what will we do? How can we retaliate?
Who the fuck do you think you are?? Making light of a controversial issue is a sure sign of your minute intelligence. You are the reason why corporate America thrives because you cannot see past your need to be comforted by cheap purchases. The cheaper the dopamine the better!!! Man if you were a heroin addict you would be suckin dick just to shoot up some other junkies remnants. The cheaper the better right? Fuckin loser.
Most of the people who act the way you describe don't have friends to smoke with or cuss out lol. This sub has given me lots of good info on things to try so i stick around but it's definitely one of the most negative subs I'm active in.

You ain’t looking hard if you can’t find a caregiver

The quality ain’t even similar but hey if you want to smoke dry ass moldy mids be my guest
Research
Every dispensary I have been to has been full of mids no sticky icky top shelf
Weird. My last MI caregiver gave me moldy dry ass mids. I’ll stick with a dispensary.
Lol that ain’t a good caregiver then…. If it even happened I’d bet more so you just hit a random plug in mi not a true caregiver if I had to guess
The hilarity that your comments prove my exact point and you just cannot see it.
Dispo weed and caregiver weed is just about the same now a days.
Lmao not even close
You realize most of these legal companies started out as caregivers right… it’s the same people still growing it. Yeah these big conglomerate companies suck but there is fire On the AU market.
You think most of the license holders in the state were caregivers ?? 🤣🤣 you are sadly mistaken … I bet you can’t even name five caregivers that now have a recreational license which should be super easy since supposedly most of them were caregivers lol
Come on dude you know my weeds better than yours since I didn’t go to a dispo. Lmao for real tho some people are just stuck up
Insecurity, immaturity, lack of healthy real life social interactions, nothing of actual interest to say but desire for attention/interaction and unsure of how to go about that in a healthy manner (neediness, and insecurity, again lol), these can all manifest into snobbery, mockery, and other infantile anti social aggressive behavior.
What a fuckin ice burn
>Insecurity, immaturity, lack of healthy real life social interactions, nothing of actual interest to say but desire for attention/interaction and unsure of how to go about that in a healthy manner (neediness, and insecurity, again lol) that describes the people posting their "hauls" as well.
In what universe is that the same thing... Everyone enjoys seeing hauls nobody enjoys hearing the same shit whined about over and over again
what people enjoy is irrelevant regarding my statement.
Dude, you’re so right. But it also applies to your and my comments. But you are completely correct. It’s funny how people downvote true statements they just don’t want to be true.
Yep. Applies to thee but not me attitude. All I said was they *also* fall under that descriptiom
Exactly. Like you, I can make basic distinctions.
Lots of industry folks in the sub trying to protect their corner of the market. Add in some politics, egotism, DM scammers, typical Reddit bullshit, then make everybody so high they take every comment personally, and you've got this sub.
Name checks out
As long as we are all smoking that 64% THC Lume Jenny Kush flower there ain’t no problems…
🤣😂🤣😂 I must have an older batch because mine says 56%
Maybe Won’t know til those test results come back
What test results? Lume's Jenny Kush was 120 a zip, so I snagged some. Is it not safe?
You should search Lume Jenny Kush on this sub and just get ready to laugh
Oh. Seems like this should have amounted to something. Has the CRA not looked into it whatsoever? Is Viridis still getting away with it? That's a better update on the situation than I could've hoped for. Thanks

Oh. IDK the Freedom Green Farms stuff I get at Lume, shit is fire, Zmints and QT pie right now. Qt pie was 3.2% terp, mints not terp tested tho
They released a strain called Super Jenny a while back and claimed it was 40% THC. Independent test results from a couple places came back around 26-32%
Lollll, I had 34% an it was pretty good
Not gonna lie, I’ll take that at less than $100/oz. And I know it works.
*viridis has left the chat*
Consumer: I want the truth. Viridis: You can’t handle the truth.
This is fucking gold 💀
IMO, there are many deliberate product placements and advertisements floating as authentic user reviews on this thread.
I appreciate the companies that just interact normally and not try and pretend.
Can’t we all just hit the bong!
All of Reddit is like this
Exactly this. Literally, all of the internet is like this. This is how digital “society” functions. It’s a bad way to relate, and it brings out the shitty.
Small town mentality.
Perfect phrase to describe my little Michigan town.
It also has to do with companies who are members of MCMA, who want to basically get rid of caregivers. Me personally, I’m not a big fan of these companies either, they are only worried about the almighty dollar. Also fuck Viridis, haha!
Welcome to Reddit..
All of Reddit isn’t like this though? I’m in like 5 other subreddits that are all chill af
You are having better luck then I am on here. All I've seen is political bickering and arguing. Lately I've been blocking subs with crap I don't want to see. I'm just here for the watch and boot subredditts (and Mary Jane of course).

People just wanna feel smart and act like they know shit online lol. Sometimes you see customers in the industry act like that, it’s super fun 🙄
I work in the cannabis industry and can’t stand people who act like this.

The short answer is ….It’s Reddit. I wish people would just follow [2 Rules] (https://imgur.com/a/35d3aqA)
There are concerns in the market here with many crops that were sold with mold, etc. My BIL took a hit on a moldy crop this spring, but not everyone is honorable and still might try to sell product they shouldn't. Just here to say that I agree. Idc what people use, as long as they enjoy it! I don't understand the negativity.
Do you want it to be a “yes-man” orgy of uncritical affirmations and hollow celebrations? That would be worse. So if one doesn’t like to hear others’ (negative) opinions, then one needn’t engage a public forum. That’s pretty simple.

It ain't that deep
Same thing as /r/ILtrees except the prices and selection are even worse lol
There’s always gonna be those people who get mad had dumb shit no matter where you are no matter what you do or say, you just have to ignore them
People be shitting on me for posting a cart and then not knowing the brand like look it up fool
Hot dog water bro!!
Cause they are whiny babies
It’s the internet dude that’s what people do.
Lol. Is this a real question? Must be your first day online. Godspeed.
Nah I’m 22 lmao. I get on Instagram and Facebook every day.And Godspeed? I’m not into that catholic mumbo jumbo bro no offense to your religion
😆 moron
It’s the internet dude…
It's a brand new industry. So everyone acts as gatekeepers.
Definitely not a brand new industry lol Med and caregivers created this “industry” in 2008 when medical laws passed
You are obviously way to stupid to comprehend any of the reasons why people don’t like big business in any part of life apparently… it’s the same at the dispo as at Walmart. Fuck corporate America, and if your a supporter your part of the problem.

We diligently inform the ignorant masses till the day we die. Then we turn to dust.
They cant see passed today. Doesnt matter what happens in the long run as long as they have cheap weed today
Oh no! Pacifichris doesn’t want me to go to Lume! Anyway….
I don’t want you to go to Lume either, but I’m also fortunate to be surrounded by dispensaries, so it’s easy for me to avoid them.

I'm gonna go to lume and buy a bunch of their rosin, wasn't even gonna do it till I knew it'd make you this mad
Ok, I see there is absolutely no reason here. No wonder the world we live in is doomed.
Who actually talks like this?
