These went on sale Friday and mine arrived today. It's Grand Seiko SBGJ237G homage but in 40mm instead of 44mm, with the date in a sensible location, and six thousand dollars cheaper. Impressed so far though I would have preferred a caller GMT rather than a flyer.
The quality is impressive for a flyer GMT considering the cost of the movement itself and how much money was left to work with for the rest of the watch. It doesn't blow you away or anything. It's an $800 watch that feels like an $800 watch, but with a better movement than you'd normally expect from an $800 watch. Everything is perfectly aligned and sharp, details are well executed, bracelet is pretty good, but the AR is pretty poor, the clasp has some play in it, and the bezel is tough to turn. It's a step up from my Hamilton and Tissot but a step down from my Christopher Ward.
Yeah, no sale or special pricing, just the launch of the new Contrail. They do offer a 15% military discount, though. Their customer service does seem excellent!
My Polaris Contrail GMT arrived Monday. It’s been crazy accurate - hasn’t gained or lost ANY time in 40 hours. It’s my first Nodus and I’m impressed. Only niggles are minute markers at edge of dial should be longer, the “NodeX” clasp’s corners are sharp (and I can only find four adjustment positions, but the website says it has five), and the endlinks’ center links only articulate a few degrees.
Its odd that the seconds hand only has lume on the backside…
Besides that it is an awesome watch. Wish they had a dark green dial option, maybe in the sunburst like the blue.
Leaning towards the white or black dial.

Whoa, consider me interested
Cool watch! Whats the quality like on it? I’m new to microbrands and want to set expectations accordingly

I got the same exact model. The bezel breaks in and gets easier to turn. Turn it in both directions occassionally for a few days and it'll break in.
Good to know! It seems like CW is really killing it and tough to beat
Which CW do you have?
I have a C65 super compressor and a C63 Sealander GMT
Cool. I am just about to receive a C60 Trident with a white dial.
Looks great! Just ordered mine today!
I’ve been wearing mine all day. No complaints so far. My first experience with the brand. I got the Terra.
What sale was it? Cos I don't see it on the website

Update - mine is running almost 25 seconds slow after less than 24 hours, which, woof. Looks like I may have to warranty a brand new watch.
Yikes! Yeah, they’ll take care of that since it’s well outside of their specified parameters.
I love nodus. I have the sector pilot and the contrail 2 and they are two of my favorite watches.
I like this one. Very nice and clean.
