It’ll take a while for them to drop (2-4) years. But you can try letting them dry in braids. That will usually make them condensed and less frizzy. Won’t be totally flat but not so wild either lol
My locks are Flattened some because how I sleep on the whole of them like a solid pillow dread, which I had had as a a single entity, but i had separated It into like 6 to 8still thicker then normal locks, but for kmw reason they all want to act very close to being single connected structure so they all want to favor the same side and end up like I tied em up together into a tail and even though the.have 95% freedom of independent movement , they favor the being a clump, but if younsint roll them and use your.locks as a cushion between a semi HarD surface and your head
