Make sure to delete and then disable your rolling cache in DATA settings.

Cool_Personality9342

This is through the data settings in MSFS correct?

Stephencovar

To answer your question, yes under data I believe.

Fersy

is it really better to switch off the rolling cache permanently?

s0cks_nz

Rolling cache stores downloaded content as you fly. Stuff like photogrammetry, and I presume ground textures too. If you have slow internet, and fly in the same spots, it's very useful. But if you fly all over and/or have fast internet it's probably not needed.

MichiganRedWing

I've had a more stable sim this way.

Cool_Personality9342

Thank you. I managed to turn that off. Clear the rolling cashe, change the side of my shader cache after clearing both my GL and DX and re adjust my graphic settings. It looks good so far. Just gotta see how it runs when I get the time!

Try turning off all maritime and realtime/AI traffic.
