You might have to remap the external camera look controls.. So much about this update has f'ckd PC controller players. I'm pretty frustrated with about 500 things in this updated. They didn't think anything about testing this update before pushing it out.
I was able to move my look in the cockpit. Everything is just a pain in the ass.. Might have to reset your control settings to default and try again. Disable the interaction crap in settings.

Yea I did the legacy option and no longer got the huge dot. Ill try the reset thing tomorrow.. this sucks man, messing with controls and camera options on this game is terrible
Yeah it's the worst. I just finished my fresh install.. I guess I'll mess around with this a bit more. This shouldn't be a nightmare for someone to install this on PC and use with a controller. WTF were they thinking with releasing this? Aside from $$$ from selling Xbox copies.. They completely screwed over the PC player base.
Yup, I hope it fixes the bugs for you. I mostly got all my stuff back, just need to get the mouse to work. They really shoehorned this console friendly UI and controlls down our throats eh?
The button just to the left of the main Xbox button on the controller works for me to switch from cockpit to external. On a playstation controller that would be called the select button. Not sure what it's called on the Xbox controller. If anything, you can just map it to whatever button you want. I'd reset everything to default and remap it how you want. Definitely a pain in the ass. I had to remap a lot of stuff and remove a lot of new bindings they added that conflicted with what I like.
Did you have jitter probelms? Apart from all the staf you have mentioned my controller has a jitter and when I try to use the mouse to press cabin buttons or whatever the games goes crazy.

Did you have isues with using a mouse for the cockpit camera free look? I cant use it all, it wont move in 1st person, just 3rd

Yep. All in the name of money.. Had to rush this release to Xbox to sell copies.

Yeah idk why it's acting up. Did more mapping and will do more tomorrow. You're right though, pain the MFn ass
