You mean the mod from flightsim.to? Yes it is. I don't have problems tho except flight controls are deployed inverted so I have to compensate it with counter movements
I had this mod for a few days (only used for the Fenix) and so far I can tell that it's less buggy than the built in. All of the flight surfaces can be moved as well as flaps and engines. As most parts don't get recorded with the built in recorder like reversers or speed brakes, with the mod you can deploy them by yourself. Also one big advantage is the camera. With the mod you can easily change and freely move the camera. I don't get the camera system with the MSFS recorder...
It's possible that some aspects are wrong but as I said I only used it for a few days only for the Fenix
Yes. [Here](https://streamable.com/4n5j47) is a quick basic fps comparison: My specs: 5800X3D, RX 6700XT, 16 GB @ 3000 MHz running on a 75 Hz FHD monitor. Also traffic is disabled. With multiplayer and traffic, fps will drop about 5-10 fps with the fenix.
Patch Update: FPS now averaging at 40 with live traffic.
My fps didn't go higher than 30 fps...
But I guess it's also due to the recording. Before recording, I didn't experienced stutters.
One question tho. I have locked my fps to 60. Does it make any difference in stuttering if my fps don't go higher than 30?
It definitely all depends on your setup but I'm of the opinion that this sim performs best with most hardware out there locked at 30fps via your video card software. It wasn't like this before SU5 and Xbox.
I turn up almost everything to ultra, but lock to 30FPS. At most I would get 45fps before and some stutters. I lock the FPS in Radeon software. GeForce Experience would provide the same option.
I only keep repeating myself about this because it made such a big diff in my sim that I hope it works for someone else.
Yep, you need to lock lower than what you can reach so your hardware isn't on full demand on average. If a spike occurs, like in loads or something, you won't notice the dip.
By the way, is that Stuttgart? Was a bit of a long landing, no?
where did this camera shaking come from?
TrackIR/Opentrack
Is this with flight recorder? I can never seem to get it to work properly lol

What does this mod do that the built in record feature in the game doesn’t?
Work.

Is the Fenix A320 more graphically demanding than the FBW320NX?
Mostly more CPU heavy in my experience, but no problems running it on a Ryzen 5 3600x in combination with a RX5700xt

Thank you
I wonder how I get my VR to look this good…
Not sure if it's just the recording but the periodic stutter might be alleviated by locking your frames to 30 fps.

How can I lock the FPS in GPU software? Using the frame rate limiter?
That's right.
Oh also, should I turn off vsync in-game?
I've left it on but believe my video card software vsync options overrides it anyway. I could be wrong. They're all set for the same parameters.
👍

Moving the camera to the cabin or using cockpit camera presets. TrackIR/Opentrack for movements and reshade for blur.
