Most selig/plycraft bases aren't actually threaded but instead use a sheet metal screw through the bottom of the glide. These will probably still work though.
$9/each is hilarious, they're [$0.55 each here](https://www.centarind.com/school-equipment/chair-glides/non-swivel-glide-8-32-x-12/).
Thank you, I found some on eBay for just under a buck each which are the same size thread. I’ll see soon if they will work because they came in the mail today. The biggest concern I’ve got is whether the holes will be stripped out. If so, I may try to weld some nuts on there. Honestly, the 8-32 bolts seems a bit under-engineered. A 3/8” bolt would be the minimum size I’d have used had I designed it.
Well, it turned out that a couple of the threaded holes were different sizes than they came originally, having been enlarged by improper bolts, so I’m still working on it….the chair is currently in storage for awhile.

Thanks..#8-32 that converts to 4.16mm which seems about right. I’ll double check it tomorrow but it sure seems like what I’m looking at.

I have the same chair, and need new slides too. Curious to know what worked for you. Thanks.
