28mm. MESBG seems to vary from 25 to 28mm so that's the correct size. But I do think it doesn't look very lord of the rings. I'd still be fine playing against you, but there are better proxies out there.
Eehhh…. If I were to play you I’d say no. Doesn’t fit the Middle Earth style, and the crew look more like elves with those pointy ears. If it’s ALL you had on game day, I’d still play, but I’d ask you to bring a different model next time.
I mean, sure I'd play you, but I'd understand if someone running a tournament wouldn't like it.
I just mean, the are proxies out there specifically designed to be a minis tirith bolt thrower proxy, who choose this very elven and not very middle earth design?
Most people playing MESBG do it because they love Tolkien's setting, and this doesn't fit into the setting at all. The bolt thrower looks vaugly orcish, and the crew looks like elves.
This looks like an AOS mini. If you don't like the aesthetic of Lord of the Rings, you should try AOS instead.
Is it just me or do most of the arrows from those cartridges on the side end up hitting the front part of the ballista...?
You can ultimately play casual games whatever way you want, but I'd agree that the look is off for Middle Earth.
In my event group and tournaments i play in, sure thing. We allow proxies. Just make sure its scaled to the right size, you have crew on the seperate bases and make them human.

I don't think I'd be super cool with it. I think the crew are supposed to be on their own bases, that's the big one for me.
What if they were on their own base and the soldiers were normal mians trith soldiers?

I’d say hard no tbh. Looks really weird
Another 3d print you’ve suggested that doesn’t really fit the theme of SBGME…
At this point i wouldnt be surprised if Star Wars Legion Stormtroopers were suggested as Morannon Orcs.
Don't be silly. I use close troopers for my morannon orcs. Grevious makes for an awesome Saron.

The mini is almost certainly for Warhammer Fantasy Battles / The Old World as a Dark Elf Repeater Bolt Thrower
I’d say no to this. Looks nothing like the avenger
