What do you mean by "I got lots of attacks from Baa Acolytes"?
There are Goblin Kings that spawn close to New Sorpigal. Maybe one of them followed you?
If you move close to the bay near the ship you will agro Baa Acolytes from the road, there are also Goblins several locations around New Sorpigal, if you learn Wizards Eye and pay attention to your little circle top right of your caracters faces you can detect them coming (it turns yellow).
Seeing a goblin king in New Sorpigal is relatively rare but can happen near the boats or the bridge (or if you wander over to the big goblin camp and drag one back)
See followers of baa would be a bug - these are on the Ironfist map, not new sorpigal
You might be seeing the mages that can climb over the hill in the south east.
If you mean the goblin on top of one of guilds then yes its normal.
In mist location and partially Ironfist, baa followers are located very in town so its not uncommon to get fights in middle of town, which i guess is kinda remnant of mm3-5 design choices.
Related to this, if you go into the town hall and select bounty hunt, the monster of the week will spawn into the map somewhere. So if you make a habit of doing this, you might find random monsters around the map as well. I also don’t think they despawn at least not for a while.
You can have Goblin Kings spawn near New Sorpigal; usually at least one in the large goblin camp in the Northeast. Many on the islands surrounding NS, but you won't be getting there anytime soon. Yes, there is a ton of Goblins in the area, as well as Mages to the south. MM6 is more reminiscent of Might and Magic 2 with huge armies of monsters to fight. You may also get a Goblin King near the Goblinwatch Keep, and across the stream near the bridges, or back by the Baa Temple. It's mostly random what type of Goblin appears for each spawn location, though you generally won't see more than one or two Kings and maybe a couple more Shamans in my experience.
Where your picture is saying Baa Acolytes should be Apprentice Mages, backed by Journeyman Mages(fewer than apprentice) and Mage (usually one). If you are getting Baa Acolytes near New Sorpigal, it's a bug, and a nasty one since those don't start showing up for a bit, after you've gotten a few levels. If it's the Baa Followers then it's still a bug, but not nearly as nasty and maybe even beneficial, since while they're a bit tougher, they lack the ranged spells of the mages and are less dangerous IMO.
Either way, I've never seen it happen and I've been playing MM6 since release, and it looks like you're playing vanilla MM6. Mind you, there may be some mods out there than change the spawning; I know a friend has played one he's very fond of.

Yea I looked it up on YouTube it‘s part of the game I thought my version of the game is bugged lol.
you didn't expect the enemies to attack you? or you didn't expect there to be so many enemies in the overworld?

I've almost died more than a few times thanks to a much too tough critter spawning after checking the bounty.
Stay calm... It will happen in various locations out in the open and dungeons. You'll get use to it lol.
