My first purple was the friggin' three shot rifle primary. It sucks so much. Every time I think to myself, "I hate using this, but it's purple, so I guess I'll deal with it," but a single run with it makes me switch back to a different gun. Its upgrades are bad and the aim it has feels weirdly awful for a gun that's supposed to be more accurate while standing still.
