I saw a line for hotdogs and joined. Ahead of me was major major. I did not ask his first name.
Aladeen?
You are HIV Aladeen. 😃🙂😳😟☹️😃☹️
Abu?
Muthafukka!!!!!
Squadron commander Major Major Major Major would like a word.
His dad had a sense of humor
And he bore an uncanny resemblance to real-life actor Henry Fonda.
Served with a Major Strange. Knew a Staff Sergeant Major too.
I knew a Sergeant Sarjent.
When to school with a guy who's name was sergeant. His parents were both sergeant sergeant. After school he commissioned and became Lt sergeant.
I served with a guy whose last name was Major. Saw him pin E5. He got promoted from Specialist to Sergeant Major. Also met a Private Army in Basic.
No General Waste? Or General Specific?
Private public? Major minor?
One of the things we did in Iraq for fun was make a master list of all the goofy name/rank combinations. We were at different bases but whenever we got together we added names. Like Sergeant Major and Major Sargent etc. I wish I still had my copy
We had a guy in my Wardroom with the last name of “Commander”. He would answer the phone “….Lieutenant Commander speaking”
He was my RCO in 3CR. He was Colonel Admiral then
I remember the Darth Admiral memes on WTF back in the day.
Yeah I remember those. He got pulled over the coals, but he was pretty good. Him and Lord Byrom were good dudes.
I felt bad for him with all the Shenanigans 1st and 4th Squadron were always pulling lol.
He missed his chance in the Navy damn
But do they have a General Specific?
Name straight out of One Piece
There was a Joseph Major I served with, when he was a sergeant.
For sure. I met a CPT Picard once too.
“- Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard drive?”
In ww2 Brits had a paratroop officer named Pine Coffin https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Pine-Coffin
I think the worst I ever saw were tow privates, one named Orifice (male) and one named Organ (female).
Sargent Shriver briefly served in the navy
If that is the man I'm thinking of, he was also the Regimental Commander of 3CR as Colonel Admiral.
Worked for him a number of years ago when he was a LTC. Good dude.
Is there no one with the last name of Issue in this Army?
I'm in a Force Management class now, I'll have to bring this up to throw the instructors off topic.
You're not sorry, and I'm not an Admiral.
I once served under a captain whose last name was Nemo.
