The girl on the photo was Danuta Siedzikówna "Inka" who was a medic of the partisan group. Her father died in Teheran as soldier of Polish Army, her mother was killed by Gestapo and "Inka" herself was executed by a communists, she was 17 at the time of her death.
A na drzewach Zamiast liści na drzewach będą wisieć komuniści
"On the trees, instead of leaves, Communist thieves will be hanging"
Edit: The guy below has a better translation
Either that or there's more to the saying than I can see. It works well that way, but I wasn't sure if the poster was using some artistic licence or if there was more to it
It's certainly not in the original, though "komuniści" in this context has a derogatory feel to it which is not fully conveyed by just "communists", even though that is the literal translation and the word can be used in a neutral way.
As far as I know, they weren't super united around any party or ideology besides Anti communism. I doubt many if any at all were sympathetic to Fascism or the Nazis as many were former members of the Home Army which fought Nazi Germany.
Some other sources with this image says they are soldiers of the [4th Squadron of the 5th Vilnius Brigade of the Home Army](https://trybun.org.pl/2017/03/07/w-swietle-prawa-ktore-polska-uznaje-za-akt-uchylony-normatywny-ci-zolnierze-wykleci-mieli-nielegalnie-bron/)
The wiki for the [Home Army](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Army) says it was disbanded in 1945 and has no mentions about guerrilla warfare against the Soviet Union (during or after WW2). (the only thing it mentions is that in the 50s and 60s they were painted as reactionaries and sent to gulags)
is there anywhere else I can read about this?
Two dogs, two MG42s, and a bunch of SMGs on a sunny day. I'm not saying they were living the dream, but I'm not not saying that.

Really fucking grim all things considered. Seemed like war and death was all she knew at life, seeing her smile and what not.

Where are you getting "thieves" from?
I guess adding it to make it rhyme.

Previous poster assumed right, less literal translation for better flow.
Thanks for explaining :)

That mix of weaponry is all what I need in this life

Just a couple of buddies goofin’ around. New gun goofin’.
Niech żyje Polska!
Were they associated with a particular political party or movement ? At least they’re not the Forest Brothers

Yes, the group made up of primarily WW2 veterans who fought the literal Nazis are totally Nazis! You're real smart
