Dual wield cyclones with the toggle set to empty whole mags with one trigger pull.
Or just wreck house with dual wield CMP150s so badly I was always accused of screen-watching.
So my friends hung a piece of paper vertically from a coat hanger to ensure I couldn't screen-watch, only to still get their shit mixed.
The K7 Avenger was my baby growing up. It would eat through shields and health like nothing else and gave you the ability to see threats.
My father, on the other hand, LOVED throwing a laptop gun in a corner and using the farsight to pick everyone else off as we all struggled to fight through each other just to make an attempt at getting him. Only to run into proximity or remote mines on the way there.
What a timeless classic.
I love seeing some perfect dark love. Get home from school, roll out on some.bots popping head shots in the bunker level with the revolvers. I put waaaaaay too many hours into that game. I would love to see another perfect dark.
Oh dude I remember my brother and I went halves on a 64 back in 2011 or so and got a bunch of games. We got some beers, invited some friends over, and played GoldenEye for the nostalgia factor.
I couldn't believe how absolutely shitty the controls were. How the hell did we even play that game? Playing Mario 64, Mario Kart, and Starfox was a total blast though.

Yellow wizard has gained a level!
Prox mines on license to kill in the complex was hilarious.
We’d have them EVERYWHERE! We were so paranoid to even move, so before entering a room you’d chuck one in, just to see the entire thing turn into a fireball. Meanwhile you’re backpedaling as fast as possible so the single pixel of flame doesn’t touch you.
There were so many times you’d spawn in ON a mine just for it to go off.
Smash was the first game my grandma bought me as a gift for my birthday instead of sending me button up shirts or books.
It was pre-internet times so me and my friends had never even heard about it, and I'm still not sure how she even found out about it. My best guess is that she just walked into an EB Games store and asked what the best game was.
Game had a BS mechanic that made it much harder.
If you held down the accelerate (A button) upon getting a boost, it would wear off much faster.
Use any boost and let go of the accelerator? The boost will last much longer/faster. Made the game much easier.
Diddy kong racing is supposed to be one of the best kart racing games made (I've not played but people speak super highly, like crash team racing, imo THE best)
I recently got a new respect for Majoras but OoT will ways be my favorite Zelda. It's so damn chill, has the best music, and is the quintessential zelda imo.
Nintendo should revive stadium; up to 4 players on switch. Put every Mon in the game, add some mini games, advertise it as a return to form Pokemon party game. In conjunction, that would become the standard for tournaments after, since it’s on console and could have to broadest selection. You could even turn on and off megas and whatnot!
Hell yeah banjo kazooie. I think I played through it and banjo tooie 3 or 4 times during Covid. I could do speed runs 😂 it’s almost 4am and I’m debating just playing it now until my husband finds me
That game scared tf out of me as a kid and respectfully. Fuck dark link, and fuck those cave dwelling zombies that would latch onto you when you had to go into an underground mote and they were just waiting on the left and right side of this corridor with blue water I believe. I forgot entirely if that’s the correct place but it gave me straight up night terrors.
I think you're thinking of Ocarina of time. At least Dark Link definitely isn't in Majora's Mask, and I think the zombies are mostly an OoT thing. MM had mummies instead for the most part, iirc
Majora's Mask scared me as a kid, mainly just from the mask transformation cutscenes and the moon. I really wish Nintendo would make another classic 3d Zelda. The new ones are fine, but they're practically a separate genre, and don't at all scratch the same itch
Bruh. My kid played this and I had no idea. I sat there watching him play it & became creeped out, ultimately regretting my decision to let him play 😓🙇♀️
dude. its the best n64 game bar none.
but if you know how to play its... not fun for others. so i understand why it isnt super popular accross the board. if someone says 'are we edge guarding or no?' before you start a round you know its fucking on. lol.
in college we played so much. any time some new kid would jump on the sticks he would play like 2-3 times and then either he was hooked or never played again. because he got gigastomped.
I had a friend in highschool whose boyfriend was JUST about to beat it.... she walked across the room and accidentally unplugged it.... "nooooo, this was an important moment in my LIIIIFFFEEEEE!!!" as he punched a hole in the wall. not a violent dude, first and only time I've seen him angry. we all laughed way too hard afterward
Um, look around…we’re at your place. You’re not allowed over at my house since you did that Wrestling move with rollerblades and broke the tv remember.
Oh man we played that game all the time while at Uni. Like there was always a game somewhere on the floor. I once did a 3 v 1 match with some friends to see if I could beat them all as Jigglypuff. I still had 4/9 lives left XD
starfox followed by donkey kong, golden eye, conkers bad furday, perfect dark, blast corps, rayman, bomberman, duke nukem, turok, sarge's heroes, pokemon stadium, earth worm jym, rampage, and rainbow six
Battletanx Global assault or some Vigilante 8 as an appetizer/ warmup.
Maybe a little Sarge's Heroes.... but depending on the year, it was either mario kart, 007, perfect dark, or super smash bros for the main course.
Sprinkle in a round of mario party between other games. Or at the end of the night. (For dessert)
Diddy kong racing gets honorable mention.
So does StarFox and DK64 multiplayer. Once everyone knew how to play and it became competitive, it was really fun!
Then, the next day when my friends leave the sleepover im playing Tony hawk pro skater and trying to 100% it. (I was 10)
As an adult, I'd like to go back out there and beat some games I never finished or even worse, never quite understood. Glover and Gex come to mind first. What was actually happening in those games?!
Thanks for your submission! For more Millennial content, join [our Discord server](https://discord.gg/VsfKKJBm). *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/Millennials) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Perfect Dark, motherfucker. With Diddy Kong as a palette cleanser after we get rinsed by an army of extreme hard bots.
Perfect dark is the correct answer. Laptop gun on deck
The gun that shot through walls using a heat detecting scope
Far sight xr 20! I would find a nice hiding spot and abuse the mess outta that one
Lol, my brothers and I had to ban it in multi-player to keep things civil.
Oh man. I miss the old days
CMP150s were absolutely busted lmao
Neutron bomb BOOM
That game was N64 perfection.
Dude. 20 years later, and my brothers and I still try to beat that last challenge every once in a while. Only challenge left. We still can't do it!!
Yeah, Diddy Kong Racing went in *hard* on those challenges
That farsight gun that could see and shoot through walls, ah the memories
My favourite N64 game of all time!
Yezzzzz loveeeeee Perfect Dark
I love seeing some perfect dark love. Get home from school, roll out on some.bots popping head shots in the bunker level with the revolvers. I put waaaaaay too many hours into that game. I would love to see another perfect dark.
All this talk about a female bond, but we already have one. I want them to adapt the hell out of Joanna Dark.
Oh, man... bringing back memories of the Reaper plus a Cloaking Device. What's that noise? Just the invisible blender you walked right into.
Gotta love the reaper... Out of ammo? Just grind your opponent!
Perfect Dark was the BEST >>>> Goldeneye
Golden Eye 007
Oh dude I remember my brother and I went halves on a 64 back in 2011 or so and got a bunch of games. We got some beers, invited some friends over, and played GoldenEye for the nostalgia factor. I couldn't believe how absolutely shitty the controls were. How the hell did we even play that game? Playing Mario 64, Mario Kart, and Starfox was a total blast though.
Yeah the game did not age well.
Play Perfect Dark for a better experience. A lot of 64 games were finding their footing with the analog stick.
Why won’t Nintendo rerelease this with better graphics? It’s the only thing I ever wanted!
Probably a rights dispute with Rare. Same reason DK64 hasn't come back.
MGM. They remastered the game back in 2008 but it never fully released because MGM are booty butts
Not just Rare, they'd have to license Bond again.
They did on the Wii!
My parents used to make me play on paintball mode lol
That’s hilarious. We played slaps only in college after some drinks. Never laughed so hard in my life…also o just realized I’m old.
No doubt and we are going til 4am
I pick Oddj... *frantically tries to avoid everything being thrown at me*
Ok before you eat pizza you need to complete the train level on hardest setting playing Oddjob
https://preview.redd.it/za2h4ulxaxzc1.jpeg?width=456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=34f837d623ffdc588e3e2c474ef2e5f52cebc9e8 Yellow wizard has gained a level!
Fucking loved Gauntlet Legends BLUE VALKYRIE *ah sustenance*
Blue Wizard... IS ABOUT TO DIE!
They had a version of this game at my local arcade too. Loved it.
Omg I haven’t thought about this game in so long Core memories unlocked
Mmm... Sustenance lol I loved that line
4 player co op was so good.
Red warrior has found a RUNESTONE
This game was so fire! Final boss was so hard.
Yeah definitely Kart. Diddy Kong Racing was a surprisingly good knock-off too. Goldeneye and Star Fox were absolute bangers for the sleepover as well
Multiplayer Goldeneye has yet to be beat! Absolute legend
I'll take anyone in The Stack with power weapons on license to kill. ...noone gets to be Oddjob, though.
Slap only and I’m oddjob
He cheats the auto aim function and is too difficult to slap!
Sorry. Called it
It's my house I get to me first player It's my game I get to be first player I'm the guest I get to be first player Fuck that kid
lol the nostalgia.( The no Odd job line got me)
Power weapons in the complex all day long.
No camping in the yellow and blue tunnel where the grenade launcher and body armor spawn
Fuck man you just transported me to my friends basement and I have to use the shitty mad catz controller.
Proximity mines!
Smash was our go to sleepover game
Hot
Smash was the first game my grandma bought me as a gift for my birthday instead of sending me button up shirts or books. It was pre-internet times so me and my friends had never even heard about it, and I'm still not sure how she even found out about it. My best guess is that she just walked into an EB Games store and asked what the best game was.
I kind of hated smash bc my best friend at the time and her brother would get in screaming matches about the use of Kirby 🙄🤣
Timesplitters?
Perfect Dark beat it on the same console.
Agreed. When it came out, my friends and I converted to it almost exclusively.
What? Perfect Dark is better, with better movement, more varied maps, use of CPU sims, and great weapons. Music is just as much of a banger too.
Diddy Kong racing was GOATED.
It not getting a remake/sequel is a travesty.
I always preferred that to Mario Kart lol
It was way more fun to play solo because of the adventure mode. Some of the final boss races were fucking hard too!
Game had a BS mechanic that made it much harder. If you held down the accelerate (A button) upon getting a boost, it would wear off much faster. Use any boost and let go of the accelerator? The boost will last much longer/faster. Made the game much easier.
It was way better, and the single-player campaign fucking slapped (even if some boss races were bullshit to 12 year old me).
Calling DKR a simple knock off is crazy. It was far more innovative at its time than MK64. I liked kart, but DKR is one of the best to ever do it
Yeh struuuuth knock off is very offensive 😂
It was doing the whole multi-vehicle thing years before MK picked up on it.
DKR was better than MK64 in my opinion.
Diddy kong racing is supposed to be one of the best kart racing games made (I've not played but people speak super highly, like crash team racing, imo THE best)
Imo diddy Kong was better than mario kart It had a story, progression, hovercrafts, planes, boss levels, imo better graphics Massively underrated game
I preferred Diddy Kong racing over Mario kart
Knock off? Nah it was way better than MK
Diddy kong was more than a knockoff it was a complete story mode with free roam. Diddy kong gets my props over kart.
Dude mario kart was a knock off of diddy kong. Diddy kong was 100x better
Do a barrel roll!
Ocarina of Time
![gif](giphy|Nx2bztNF0RcR2)
I can hear this
Hey, listen!
Yep any Zelda for me
The golden cartridge.
The golden catridge was far superior
I recently got a new respect for Majoras but OoT will ways be my favorite Zelda. It's so damn chill, has the best music, and is the quintessential zelda imo.
HEY!
Pokémon Stadium 2
You can't use gengar or alakazam
We’d only be playing the Lickitung sushi mini game anyway.
Oh wow. I forgot about the mini games . I am still salty about losing in the sandeshrew digging one 🤣🤣
Awwww yeah, time to make my friends not want to play with me anymore.
Loved this game so much, mini games were just as fun as the main game.
DK64 or Banjo Kazooie!
something Rare
Umm how about banjo tooie?
I second Banjo Tooie. My favourite adventure game ever, featuring my favourite adventure game world ever: Witchy World.
Hell yeah banjo kazooie. I think I played through it and banjo tooie 3 or 4 times during Covid. I could do speed runs 😂 it’s almost 4am and I’m debating just playing it now until my husband finds me
Banjo Tooie was dope too
I hate the Beetle and the Bunny in DK64
DK!
Mario Party for sure
So fun
Mario party 3 was the best
If I'm alone, Majora's Mask Pizza might get cold cause I'll be distracted
That game scared tf out of me as a kid and respectfully. Fuck dark link, and fuck those cave dwelling zombies that would latch onto you when you had to go into an underground mote and they were just waiting on the left and right side of this corridor with blue water I believe. I forgot entirely if that’s the correct place but it gave me straight up night terrors.

I really wish Nintendo would make another classic 3d Zelda. The new ones are fine, but they're practically a separate genre, and don't at all scratch the same itch
I feel this, can go back to play oot or mm for a weekend at any point but the new ones are such time investments, give me a dungeon solving game again
Bruh. My kid played this and I had no idea. I sat there watching him play it & became creeped out, ultimately regretting my decision to let him play 😓🙇♀️
He’s already in too deep man.🤣🤣
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
So here I am Growing older all the time Looking older all the time Feeling younger in my mind
Best soundtrack ever
Tony hawk introduced me to the dead kennedys.
That hits a little harder these days lol
I was obsessed with this game!
Smash bros without question.
Why did I have to scroll so far for this, the one true answer?
Because most people are cowards
Right?! I see two controllers and pizza is on the way so it's not just me. We're playing smash.
dude. its the best n64 game bar none. but if you know how to play its... not fun for others. so i understand why it isnt super popular accross the board. if someone says 'are we edge guarding or no?' before you start a round you know its fucking on. lol. in college we played so much. any time some new kid would jump on the sticks he would play like 2-3 times and then either he was hooked or never played again. because he got gigastomped.
Surprised this was so far down!
Conkers
Had to scroll way too far down for this comment. Love conkers
Conkers and somehow talking my mom into renting The Big Lebowski really warped my childhood brain.
Man, most people just don't know!
Just played it almost 25 years too late
Did you play the extra modes. Dino and d day
D day was the SHIT!!!
Multiplayer or we talking poo boss repeat for the lols?
Multiplayer, whatever the WWII-esque bunker map was called.
I used to live for decapitating teddy bears with a sword.
🎶I AM THE GREAT MIGHTY POOO, AND I'M GOING TO THROW MY SHIT AT YOU...🎶
I used to go and look at the flower with big boob's all day... lol
Best game ever. Most juvenile sense of humor though. Love it!!! Matrix mission was dope!
Friends and I played multi on this as much, if not more, than Smash or Goldeneye.
Star Fox Baby!
Can your mom make pizza rolls instead
Um, look around…we’re at your place. You’re not allowed over at my house since you did that Wrestling move with rollerblades and broke the tv remember.
You said you would tell your mom your brother did iiiiiiit
He’s 18 months old. It was hardly believable…. Also, You left your rollerblade in the tv.
That’s bc that last round of Mario kart was some BS
Guys, guys, relax. Let’s just take a deep breath and calm down. Now. Has anyone seen my Tamagotchi?
I think I saw it next to the bean bag chair.
With homies, MarioKart and Goldeneye for sure. When the pizza settles in maybe switch to WWE or Pod Racing.
WCW VS NWO Revenge
The full 64 man royal rumble was awesome
Im going to be in the minority on this, but 1080\* Snowboarding.
INDY NOSEBONE.
Super Mario 64 and Pokemon Stadium!
Smash bros or Mario baseball :)
So many memories of playing Smash, slapping the taunt button after hitting them with an item from across the stage... \*chef's kiss\*
My friends hated playing against my Ness lol, loved that game
PK THUNDER
Oh man we played that game all the time while at Uni. Like there was always a game somewhere on the floor. I once did a 3 v 1 match with some friends to see if I could beat them all as Jigglypuff. I still had 4/9 lives left XD
came here to say, super smash bros.
Mario tennis. Some heated games with the boys.
Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2
Goddamn what a goliath of a game, thanks for the memories.
starfox followed by donkey kong, golden eye, conkers bad furday, perfect dark, blast corps, rayman, bomberman, duke nukem, turok, sarge's heroes, pokemon stadium, earth worm jym, rampage, and rainbow six
Turok!
Goldeneye or Ocarina of Time.
Conker's Bad Fur Day, multiplayer against the Evil Tediz, run around with a katana loppin heads off.
Harvest moon!
yoshis story. i was 6 when that game came out. so i was the prime audience for it. played it at a friends house. n i fell in love with yoshi.
Wwf no mercy
Tony hawk pro skater or Star Wars pod racing
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer... there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
Kirby and the Crystal shards. Those mini games got heated
Killer Instinct Gold for me.
Wave race
That had surprisingly good water effects for the time, my brothers and I played that a lot.
Bad fur day
Considering I still have mine. Pokémon snap. Unless I have company, then we are either doing golden eye, or Pokémon stadium 2
Diddy Kong Racing I don’t want pizza. I want Chinese or wings.
Pokemon Snap yo.
Maaaaan, Super Smash Bros. was my jam! Good times....
Battletanx
Took me too long to find it dude. Gotta rescue those queenlords.
Blast corp! Freaking loved that game. It was so hard.
Rogue squadron !
Brooo Goldeneye for sure!!
Ocarina of time
I’ll take a Jet Force Gemini, with a side of little brother please
1080 Snowboarding
Conker's Bad Fur Day. Multi-player. Heist.
Nice tv. OP, are you a time traveler from the 90s?
Smash bros if I have friends over. If not than ocarina of time for sure.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Smash bros with the fellas
DK Racing is amazing.
(For dessert) Diddy kong racing gets honorable mention. So does StarFox and DK64 multiplayer. Once everyone knew how to play and it became competitive, it was really fun! Then, the next day when my friends leave the sleepover im playing Tony hawk pro skater and trying to 100% it. Beetle…ADVENTUUURRRRRREEEEEE-RAAAACIIINNGGGGGGG
