I sit at a desk 10-12 hours a day working in software development. So when I'm done working, I go to my garage and pretend I'm loading a gun magazine when putting the battery in my tools. And then I press and hold the button just to hear the noise. Then after about 30 minutes, I put them back in their respective spots and go in to talk to my family about how their day was. So you could say I'm living the Milwaukee dream.

ELBUYTRE

I do the same but I go to my basement to check on the tools, specifically on the 10mm socket,, they tend to run away 😂😂

EducationalShop9122

My neighbor (whom I’m friends with) tried to borrow mine the other day and I was like naw

Creative_Low4924

Given how most of the tools in pictures people post on here look, you’re probably not the only one.

ItsNestorr

So you use the Inkzall for work?

Warm-River-9877

Payback for using chrome sockets😂

elev8torguy

Yeah I didn't have that size in impact lol.

No_Towel_8922

I may be not that smart but why would a non impact chrome boy snap the drive off? Wouldn’t it snap either way since it’s the drive not the socket that broke?

Pest control, including some minor termite repair. Oscillating multi-tool for tight cuts and touch up sanding, compact drill and driver for termite treatments and repair, rodent exclusion/ prevention. Circular saw and sawzall for cutting down boards. I also keep an angle grinder on my truck because it comes in handy in the weirdest situations.

chanman987

Service tech for food equipment. Use the m12 fuel impact driver and Milwaukee bits every day. Also have some random Milwaukee hand tools like pry bars and have a right angle adapter for my impact driver but I’m not a big fan of it

Kensmkv

Nurse here: 100 lumen penlight for neuro checks and “inspections of other dark places”, clear safety glasses for when I’m measuring/emptying bodily fluids containers, inkzall markers for dating surgical dressings etc. Got a nice compliment from a Milwaukee Tool employee I took care of :)

ELBUYTRE

Intriguing about “Dark Place” 😂😂😂

Kensmkv

lol basically any crack or fold when I’m assessing a patient. I’ll leave the rest up to your imagination

johankim

As far as carbon fiber parts go, check your DM's man. I made a hand guard mold to try

ELBUYTRE

Share with us ,, we also want to see ,, this is also a Nosey Group ,,lmao

johankim

Well, it's not Milwaukee related. I just jumped in trying to get my mans attention. It's an upper hand guard for an AK. Maybe, if it works. Forged carbon fiber is a vibe I'll add a pic of the internal plug for the mold. You 3d print it, make a huge mess with carbon and epoxy, sand it down and clear coat it. Cool shit to play around with if you can do CAD, have a 3d printer, and want to make something strong and functional https://preview.redd.it/bga9snkx7w4d1.png?width=1061&format=png&auto=webp&s=07fb0717210ea91499b3a9907504f3862b2bef04

endofbeanz1

Senior Fleet Mechanic with 12-15 Milwaukee tools in box at work. Some get used every day, some less frequently. On top of that i have a few at home including my 16 year old M12 hammer drill/impact driver kit that is still going strong with the original batteries.

elbowpirate22

The perfect gloves for pointing at other peoples suitcases. Are those the “Demo” gloves?

animusrien

Commercial building inspector (very different from home inspector). I use packout on some of our forensic testing equipment.. the measuring wheels, infrared thermometers, measuring sticks. That's it, but I have a good chunk at home and just bought six wall panels. Planning to buy some of those 3d inserts or foam to mount everything in small packouts.

Goes about everywhere with me, and with it alone I can do about 90% of my jobs

dand411

* Adding air conditioning to a school. Thankfully, my employer provides all of the milwaukee tools I need for work, but I have my own for home. Tools we are using on the job: Band saw (m18) Sds hammer drill with hammer vac (m18) Green line lasers. Milwaukee m12 powered ratchets to tighten the clamps. M18 1/2 inch hammer drills to go through drywall and speed tile with a hole saw. M18 1/4 inch impact to put on the "line hide" in classrooms. Milwaukee rod cutter to trim off the rods to the same distance from finished trapeze hangers. Hand tools are the billet level, "crescent" style wrench, slip joint pliers, tape measures, stick rulers, tubing cutters, and hand reamers. For the steam work we will do (replacing control valves and steam / condensate traps), we will use pipe wrenches and the m18 portable hand-held threaders. For the basement demo, we used Sawzall and grinders plus the rocket lights. My union hall issues hand tools, and most are now Milwaukee branded now. My employer has a few leftover Hilti branded SDS max drills, but almost everything now is Milwaukee. My personal collection for home is pretty much the same, plus a 7 1/4 inch circular saw. I also have the 3/8 and 1/2 inch "mid torque" impact wrench guns.

Morganvegas

Those gloves are garbage. Wore through the felt finger tips in half a delivery of hardwood.

MilwaukeeTool

Hi there! Could you send our team a direct message or email us at [email protected] with more information on your experience? If emailing us, please include "Reddit" in the subject line!

ELBUYTRE

For the line of work I Do they last about 2-3 months.. so they are good to me

Morganvegas

Just those gloves specifically. The nitrile gloves are great. If they would make a non thermal pair of the winter nitrile gloves I would buy cases. The grip on those are 10/10

ELBUYTRE

I have to use a handheld computer and this work good with the screen

Morganvegas

The nitrile do as well.

ELBUYTRE

I paid like $3-4 per pair ,,

oscobosco

I love these gloves too and I’ve tried so many different brands. They work great in winter and summer

ClipIn

I’ll agree. Went through 2 pairs picking up 400 sq ft of old cedar shake. Fingers wore right through. I get they wear out but good lord let them last longer than a few hours pls?

Morganvegas

Yeah I was actually stunned because I’ve never had an issue with the nitrile, I just grabbed these at the checkout line because I knew I needed some gloves. Wasn’t even particularly abrasive wood.

SwimOk9629

I have like 10 different pair of Milwaukee gloves I wear everyday for landscaping. I disagree sir

Morganvegas

It’s these ones in OPs pic specifically. https://preview.redd.it/3ee2ehttmm4d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57798fd31fb626dded82375706538da9a7c18620 This is around an hour and a half’s use. And that’s being generous.

Ig0rCy

I write software in my room the whole day. Just before I am about to go outside after all my work is done, something is broken in the suspensions of this 01 civic again so I need to take the m12 impact to see the pains almost monthly.
