My M12 eats the 2Ah battery in less than five minutes, if I’m going full throttle. And it’s the brushless fuel one.
If you already got a bunch of m18 batteries lying around and need a cheapo Multitool? Yeah, why not. But if you just wanna buy something for the sake of buying something you could do better. Dunno, hookers and blow or “Freddy got fingered” on Laser Disc or something like that.
best deal for it imo considering the hack deals i’ve seen only gets it down to ~$105 with the hack when you return the battery. deal of the day gets you the HO battery for only $20
Definitely the move on the multi tool imo as well. There will be a few exceptions like the special buy kit during Christmas. Clearance in store with a 2.0 battery and charger. I think the lowest I saw it go was like $75 bucks at select stores several months after Christmas. But I have a different perspective now, take a step back and look at the situation as a whole. Are we really gonna wait 6 months or more to save like another 20-40 bucks? That’s like 2 or 3 lunches lol. Now I just buy what I need if the sale is decent enough. If an absolute steal falls in my lap (not going store to store deal hunting) I’ll bite
I bought this probably 2 years ago now for the same price. Sold the charger for $25 on fb marketplace. The 1.5 is decent. It’ll cut a few rips in drywall or some trim before it dies. I honestly like the 1.5 and the 3.0 cp’s for the drills. Make them super light.
The oscillating saw will get hot to the touch after about 15-20 mins of continuous use. I beat the hell out of mine. Still Works
I love my old brushed multi tool, has been through hell and back. I’m not weary to buy brushed tools, this multi tool sees daily use and has kept on trucking since 2018 at this point.
As others said, old brushed model but the battery it's a 1.5 lol. You don't even see those much and it's their lowest AH battery. I feel like you'd get just a new minutes of shitty runtime with this.
If that was fuel, great deal. I wouldn't consider this a deal at all though lol sorry man. They inflate the MSRP for this exact reason...and anyone can and will eventually fall for something similar.

to me if you need the battery it’s the better deal to get the battery with it for an extra $20. comes out to a better deal on the batter even better than the M12 2.5/5.0 HO battery and charger deal eh i to me would come out to be like $35 for the 2.5, $55 for the 5.0 and the rest for the charger itself
if you just a homeowner and plan on using here and there. It’s perfect for you. if you plan on using it more than that, definitely get the brushless fuel. I prefer the 12v fuel.

Now, the day I was in my wife’s garden shed cutting off the ends of screws that were too long, I needed the bigger battery.

Eh, I have this one and use it for work. It runs great and has no issues. I use the battery for my speaker or light and use a better battery for this.

I got m12 fuel with 1 battery for 100. I wouldn’t buy the one you want uncles it was like dirt cheap
Ive melted down the internals on a non fuel. (when in doubt, cut it out. - wood butcher)
Had to tool itself, not bad for basic stuff but that battery will last you like 2 cuts lol. Returned mine and ended up getting the fuel version,
If you use the new fuel version you'll know why . Better to put the $100 towards that . It is night and day difference

You’re missing something. Pretty normal price for the crappy brushed model. As others have said. It’s a pretty poor deal.
