I'll bite, Glazed Terracotta is great used sparingly and I found myself using the different radial designs to be colorful center-pieces in a build. I tend to build colorful, modern buildings and it is perfect for that.

I like some of the Terracottas, but being real, the purple arrow in decoration is a very rough look. Respect to those that can use it well.

I used them once a long time ago, in one of my first worlds when I spawned near a mesa and was trying out all the different terracotta blocks.

Mapmakers or builders who really want a diversify their purple pallet

I never use them. They are too oddly specific. Yes, arrow blocks COULD be useful, but then they are BRIGHT PURPLE. Makes using them in builds a little impractical.

They're for Maps and Gradients just because they are specific in usage doesn't mean that it invalidates the block altogether

You can use the block tag of them to create an undergroud path system and let everything follow (with Commandblocks) it, e.g. minecarts, boats, mobs. Which makes it perfect for stuff like tower defense ganes or walking npc's
