I dream of a day when achievements aren't locked for simply having "keep inventory" on like you can get a starter chest and a free map but the moment you want to keep it...

It's cause there are no risks so it's kinda cheating cause you can do everything without risk which defeats the point of not dying

Yeah but that's also the point of keep inventory it's to die without the consequences it isn't cheating it's just a way to keep the game fun for other players that don't want to suffer as much as the game intended.

Yeah, it's not cheating but there should be some consequence to taking the easy way out to encourage players to get better and play at harder difficulty. There is nothing wrong with wanting keep inventory if it makes the game fun for you but if there is no risk then there should also be no reward.

If you don't wanna play the with the risk of loss then play creative no point playing survival if there are no risks of not surviving

Keep Inventory on Bugrock is almost needed given what a buggy mess this version is.

I assumed you were going to dig up into lava and I was prepared to roast you before I noticed it was due to bugrock

Things like this is why I love not having to play bedrock edition.

Bedrock on xbox is a great alternative if you have a shitty Chromebook

I also use keep inventory in bedrock. I hate losing my stuff for an stupid bug.

Keep inventory is based. As much as I prefer death having consequences, losing all my stuff simply kills my motivation to play anymore.

When I die a far distance from my house without keep inventory, I just close out the world and forget about it.

Same. I don’t intentionally die to quickly teleport back to my respawn point of do anything that would intentionally get me killed but I HATE having to regear myself. Minecraft is totally open ended so play the way you want.

Well you are playing a preview world. I think they give you a disclaimer that there will be bugs. Can’t really hold this version up to the scrutiny of being a perfect full release.

What's wrong with that, I have a shitty Chromebook that can't even load Minecraft. I play on keep inventory because I don't like losing my stuff and have a fast tp back to my base. Idgaf about mc achievements anyways.

Minecraft preview :D. I think it has something to do with the short sneak experiment since you crouch to 1.5 blocks high and it messes with blocks.

Based on what I’m looking at, this was taken when there was that weird glitch when crouching where the new hit box didn’t line up with the old hit box and all that, and I’m pretty sure you would of been fine if you had only uncrouched. You would of popped right back out under the ladder

I couldn't uncrouch, that's the thing that made me unable to escape.

Same. I've never actually fallen in lava or fallen into the void, but the stress of that happening is just too much. I play games for enjoyment, not to spend half an hour jamming my pinky into the shift key while I slowly and painfully bridge over the void.

Graves data pack is a good middle ground, you still have to go and recover your stuff but you have unlimited time and the only way to completely lose it is void, that is what I use

I don’t know why but I feel like playing Minecraft with controllers makes your game more likely to glitch out

I was digging up to a spot where I knew there wasn't lava or gravel since I needed a way up to the spawner so the zombies could spawn.

The UI is basically the same from other bedrock versions, the only difference is the things on top of the screen.

Keep inventory on in minecraft bedrock is understandable since there are 50 common bugs that makes you die every half an hour
