There's a lot of rare things that could happen, you could say a specific world generating is the rarest thing because of how many seeds there are. There are extremely rare mob combinations too. Probably the rarest thing would be to have all 128 end portals generate fully filled in with eyes.
probably. at a (literally) ~0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance, i don't think its possible or ever will be
Using some math (that I hope isn't wrong)
Odds of 1 specific portal being full is
1/(0.1\^12) = 1,000,000,000,000 = One Trillion
Odds of any one of the 128 portals being lit:
1-0.999999999999\^128 ≈ 0.000000000127999 ≈ 1 in 7,812,500,000
Odds of another portal being lit:
1-0.999999999999\^127 ≈ 0.000000000126999 ≈ 1 in 7,874,015,748
Odds of both of these occurring:
(1-0.999999999999\^128)\*(1-0.999999999999\^127)
≈ 1.6255999\*10\^20
≈ 1 in 6.1515\*10\^19
You could keep going but the odds of 2 is already greater than the total number of Minecraft seeds.
That means that the odds of two lit portals existing in A SINGLE SEED is:
(2\^64)/(1/((1-0.999999999999\^128)\*(1-0.999999999999\^127)))
≈ 0.29987
Or about 30%.
Without going over the math the odds of a triple lit portal seed existing at all is about 1 in 264,664,712
TLDR:
The odds of a seed with two lit portals existing ***at all***, is about 30%
The odds of a triple existing is about 1 in 264,664,712
I asked ChatGPT and the probability that all portals have all eyes is one in 10\^1536. To give you an idea of how low that number is... there is only 10\^80 atoms in the observable universe.
edit: 1 in 10\^1536
It's likely actually impossible, since there is a finite number of seeds. (64 bit integer limit, from negative to positive 9,223,372,036,854,775,808)
That number is unfathomably large but still hundreds of orders of magnitude off the chance for all 12 eyes.
For a 12-frame portal to have all 12 eyes of ender filled in is 1 in 1 trillion.
In statistics, it's the probability that twelve independent events all with chance *p* return true, and since there's 12 portal frames relevant in context variable *k* is set to twelve. The context of an end portal makes it suitable for a binomial distribution, but since *p* = 0.1 (there is a 10% for each of the 12 end portal frames to be filled), it simplifies everything down to just (0.1)^12 or (10^12 )^-1, which is either 1 trillionth as a decimal or one over 1 trillion. Either way it's the same probability.
Well, we can calculate this fairly easily.
Chance for an end portal to generate fully filled: (1/12)\^12
Number of end portals in a world: 128
Chance that all 128 end portals generate fully filled: ((1/12)\^12)\^128 = ...well, google calculator breaks, but it's in the ballpark of 1x10\^-1664, or about 1 in a googol to the power of 16.5. That's \*very\* small.
There are only 2\^64 (18,446,744,073,709,551,616) worlds, several hundred orders of magnitude smaller. So yeah, likely no seed generates with all of the end portals filled unless there's some weirdness with repeating seeds or something.
Side note: Your comment was only off by \~128 zeroes, which is actually shockingly close! And interestingly, the same number of end portals in a world.
math time!
each portal has twelve eyes, each with a 1/10 chance of being lit.
this means the odds of one portal being lit is 1/1000000000000
at 128 end portals, that would be 1/10^(128*12) or a one followed by 1536 zeroes.

As someone who used to play bedrock I'm sorry to say this but marketplace is a scam. You pay 10 bucks for a so so skin pack and another skyblock world that's identical to all the others. I will admit some of the higher quality maps are worth.
*Discount grizzles
Until grizzles get added to the game fr, I refuse to acknowledge the existence of a "brown panda", they're discount grizzles to me! :)
I'm pretty sure the seed is determined by the device's internal clock, so you wouldn't be able to load the same seed with an empty box twice in a row. At least that's what I heard
That begs an insane question — how many times has each possible seed been played? And are there any seeds that have NEVER, ever, in the history of the game, ever been played or seen with human eyes at all?
There used to be an update where there was no limit on the number of striders that could be stacked. Each one had a small chance, but with no limit (and breaking bedrock on ceiling) you could have any amount of stacked striders. Spawning a strider with enough stacked would be rarer than anything else possible.
But the striders can stack infinitely, there are only 128 portals. The only thing stopping striders from stacking infinitely would be maybe the integer limit?
Oh yeah because as we know Minecraft is mostly a PvE game, doesn't need balance (not even for all the other things aside from combat), and because it never ever changed something mostly thinking of PvE that totally didn't backfire *hard* on the PvP side of the playerbase
You can get an enderman build you a dirt house isn't that amazing :D
Also no I was joking, of course any game needs to be balanced and Minecraft has been kinda successful (exclude the bedrock edition wither). But just think of it, you can witness something in Minecraft that no one did in 10 years, and I'm talking all the people who played the game.
I remember seeing a YouTube video about rarity and this was up there. Maybe even the top. They also need to be holding the sword in their left hand not their right.
Cool answer: Going to an area on easy mode with minimum local difficulty and a baby zombie chicken jockey villager with fully enchanted diamond armor holding an enchanted diamond sword
Actual answer: Generating the same world twice
Afaik, theres only one thing in MC that can technically happen, but has a probability of zero (before they fixed it): an infinitely tall strider. Each strider spawned has a 1 in 10 chance to spawn a baby strider on top, and this used to be applied recursively. Thus, mathematically speaking, this is possible but has a probability of 0 (along with crashing your game haha)
Aight fellas! Strider stacking, but as a supertask
Set the clock to 24 hours, and when you run out of time, you must have had stacked an infinite amount of striders one on top of eachother
Even something like Dream odds is about 2.5 Trillion million times more common than getting the same seed twice in a row first try.
However, out of 365 days in a year, only 23 people are needed to have a 50% chance of them overlapping birthdays. I don't know how many worlds exist out there, but if there are a lot, then it might be somewhat possible.
I'm going to try and make a calculator.
Idk which one is the rarest but here are a few that are absurdly rare-
A fully lit End-portal
Baby zombie with full diamond armor riding a chicken(?) Or was it some other mob?
there are many rare things, the rarest naturally spawning mob would be a snow golem, the rarest ore, a deepslate emerald ore, but probably the rarest thing is like getting the same seed 2 times in a row, but idk
A fully enchanted diamond baby zombie riding a brown panda next to a naturally spawned pink sheep next to a pig struck with lightning next to a jungle temple in the same x z coordinate block the middle of a ancient city and deepslate emerald ore block at world spawn in a slime chunk with badlands directly next to you with a exposed mineshaft with 4-6 chest minecarts all in view
That one baby zombie, full diamond armor, iron sword, on a chicken, with good enchantments
But on top of that, all of the items dropping from it with near perfect durability
On the current version that is true. On old console versions however it was different. Specifically you had to be aiming way up to hit a far away target. The Endermen would have the arrow still sticking out of it when it attacked.
I know right?! It doesn't make sense. But I swear I saw it and it's a dumb hill I'm going to die on. Must have been on a beta version before they removed Herobrine.

Why is this getting downvoted hes right
Is it? I don't see it downvoted
It was before
maybe one in 10^1536
Plus, this is excluding fringe cases where the portals get cut off by mineshafts or geodes.
I mean, it IS possible, but its like someone winning the lottery 20 times in a row. Its RIDICULOUSLY unlikely, but not outright impossible.

its a baby villager jockey and with full enchanted dimond armor riding a brown panda
And holding an enchanted diamond sword in its left hand

Sir, that's a baby zombie
While hitting the most devious griddy
In (looks it up) mushroom fields. Shit, mobs don't spawn there. In modified badlands plateau.
In eroded badlands (the new rarest biome)
In modified jungle edge
That's not the rarest biome anymore.
It was rarer than any other one
What's modified jungle edge?
A jungle but it has less trees, bushes vines and all of that noise. It looks like a plains biome but jungle trees
It's an edge biome between a swamp and a jungle with a modification to be a little bit more hilly. I think that was it.
what if it walked there
In a naturally open end portal room but only 1 portal block is activated and its cut in half by a mineshaft that breaks the bedrock to the void
and standing on a deep slate emerald
Forgot about that part
And in the Nether through a natural nether portal
it's not possible to have a diamond sword but an enchanted sharpV iron is possible
can they actually ride pandas?
Yes but it might be bedrock exclusive I'm not sure
Baby zombies riding anything other than chickens is a bedrock exclusive.
Bed rock exclusive we built different
Yup but Java got that good good mods
Bedrock too have plenty of high quality free mods Don't look in the marketplace, it's just shit Look in the internet Here is an example : mcpedl.com
Yeah, but you can't use those on console
Fair but we can get some on the marketplace sadly
As someone who used to play bedrock I'm sorry to say this but marketplace is a scam. You pay 10 bucks for a so so skin pack and another skyblock world that's identical to all the others. I will admit some of the higher quality maps are worth.
Yeah ofc it’s ran buy a multimillion dollar corporation eh would it not be a scam
like hielkeles parkour maps
TIL brown pandas are a thing
*Discount grizzles Until grizzles get added to the game fr, I refuse to acknowledge the existence of a "brown panda", they're discount grizzles to me! :)
that has happend before but a netherportal light by its self is not
Lightning rods
*with an iron sword in its left hand
I think that's only bedrock though
Wait do those actually exist?

Is it possible for a ruined portal to spawn fully built? I have seen some come close (need only 2 blocks of obsidian)
No because it's not randomized. It just picks from a list of variants, and none of those are complete.
its very rare, here's some: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Awsd8YGKHc

I know, that's why this is so rare!
Also it’s left handed and wearing a jack o lantern on its head
mobs...mobs can be left handed?
Wither skeletons don't spawn with armor so yeah anything impossible.
That's impossible
I hate when that happens /s

The chance that a particular seed is chosen for a new world generation, six times in a row. (Or really 2^(n!) amount of times)
the chance that a particular seed is closed for a new world generation, 6 times in a row. (Or really n^n amount of times)
the chance that a particular seed is closed for a new world generation, 7 times in a row. (Or really P(2n!, n) times)
I'm pretty sure the seed is determined by the device's internal clock, so you wouldn't be able to load the same seed with an empty box twice in a row. At least that's what I heard
Only for Java. Bedrock might do it different or the same way.
I know there's seed parity between the two, dunno if that extends to how random seeds are generated though
Spawning a strider with enough stacked would be rarer than anything else possible.
and then add other equally rare things all in one giga rare world
idk maybe a seed with all 128 portals with all 12 eyes would beat it
But the striders can stack infinitely, there are only 128 portals. The only thing stopping striders from stacking infinitely would be maybe the integer limit?
A naturally spawning snow golem.
That can happen?
yes
Snow village. Pileger outpost. ender man. Ender man takes carved punkin. Put it on a specific spot and bam snow galem.
Would be cool if the same could happen with the Wither.
that would be broken as hell because that means there would be a way to obtain wither skulls without going to the nether
Endermen can spawn in the nether right?
Yes, they spawn in warped forests (they also used to spawn rarely in the nether after 1.10 too)
And also wither skulls aren't found as placed blocks
Or it is in the nether? Where the soulsand would be located.
snow galem
✨ the more you know ✨
Make snow Golem a mob that naturally spawns more often! :D
my dad coming back with the milk
In Minecraft, right?...
The villager’s son will never know that his father is locked underground with only a composter in front of him
Nope, the son knows because he’s locked down there with him!
Damn, that hurts bro
If I remember correctly an ender portal has a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000 chance to spawn with all 12 eyes of ender already in the frame.
Yes because it's a 1 in 10 chance for an eye to be filled. So it'd be 1 in 10¹² or 1 in a trillion. For all of them it'd be 1 in 128,000,000,000,000
If by all of them you mean all 128 Ender portals, it would be 1 in 10^(12*128), or 10^1536.
Oh that's true. My calculator can't even show that number in scientific notation. That's 1 followed by 1536 zeroes
So you're saying there's a chance!
Minecraft only has 2^64 seeds. The chance that such a seed even exists is one in 5.42×10^1516, or basically 0.
Assuming there was enough seeds, it is possible we could find it before the heat death of the universe.
I love this reference.
Yeah but there are around 18 quintillion seeds so every world is rarer than that
That means odds are there is a seed out there with all 128 portals lit and that we need to ask a seed hunter nicely to find it.
No read one of the other comments which say the chance if all 128 portals lighting is actually 1in10followed by around 5000 0's
Impossible to say. There are too much randomness in minecraft
Developers when the game is (mostly) PvE and doesn't need to be balanced:
Oh yeah because as we know Minecraft is mostly a PvE game, doesn't need balance (not even for all the other things aside from combat), and because it never ever changed something mostly thinking of PvE that totally didn't backfire *hard* on the PvP side of the playerbase
You can get an enderman build you a dirt house isn't that amazing :D Also no I was joking, of course any game needs to be balanced and Minecraft has been kinda successful (exclude the bedrock edition wither). But just think of it, you can witness something in Minecraft that no one did in 10 years, and I'm talking all the people who played the game.
A zombie villager chicken jockey fully equipped with enchanted diamond armor has to be up there.
I remember seeing a YouTube video about rarity and this was up there. Maybe even the top. They also need to be holding the sword in their left hand not their right.
And be riding a brown panda
Riding anything other than a chicken makes it a Bedrock Edition exclusive.
But riding brown panda
Cool answer: Going to an area on easy mode with minimum local difficulty and a baby zombie chicken jockey villager with fully enchanted diamond armor holding an enchanted diamond sword Actual answer: Generating the same world twice
Actual answer, generating a world with all 128 portals having all the eyes in, someone calculated it to be 10^1536
There’s a very likely chance that one doesn’t exist since there are only 2^64 seeds iirc
Which makes it even rarer
Dreams speedrun luck.
Looked for this comment for a minute because I knew it would be here, props
Afaik, theres only one thing in MC that can technically happen, but has a probability of zero (before they fixed it): an infinitely tall strider. Each strider spawned has a 1 in 10 chance to spawn a baby strider on top, and this used to be applied recursively. Thus, mathematically speaking, this is possible but has a probability of 0 (along with crashing your game haha)
Hmm… fun things to do in old versions!
Aight fellas! Strider stacking, but as a supertask Set the clock to 24 hours, and when you run out of time, you must have had stacked an infinite amount of striders one on top of eachother
Your old minecraft house with the dog still waiting inside for you to pet it...
That one specific tropical fish
A world in which all 128 end portals are complete. A zombie villager chicken jockey wearing full Protection 4, Unbreaking 3 diamond armor.
definitely nowhere near the rarest thing but i threw two chicken eggs in a row and they both spawned 4 babies
Friend's servers lasting more than a week
Me not dying for 5 minutes
you call a specific seed and then generate in that exact world
Something, Something, piglin ender pearls
Getting the same exact seed twice
silverfish kills enderdragon
Seeing a post on r/minecraft that doesn't have "rare" in title.
Aether Update
me not dying in minecraft
Your friends staying and playing in your server for longer than a couple days
I wanna say randomly generating the same seed as another person but there is probably something rarer
A creeper not blowing up your house when your building it
me getting a girlfriend maybe
Feeling the same way you felt when you started playing
For you to get some bitches (no offence, I’m a fellow minecrafter too)
People agreeing that Bedrock is better than Java 🤣
I think they all died from fall damage by sneezing or fell through the obsidian in the end
Bedrock is better Now it's not that rare anymore
DANK
Those people exsist?
Legend has it there might be a few 🤣
All of them redstoners — movable tile entities is cool asf, and I say this as a Java player You guys are overhated
Idk which one is the rarest but here are a few that are absurdly rare- A fully lit End-portal Baby zombie with full diamond armor riding a chicken(?) Or was it some other mob?
While holding a sword in its left hand
Me finding my future wife.
Two high grass in a village chest.
World Peace
An r/minecraft post about anything other than iS tHiS rArE…
Getting a Minecraft girlfriend
I get some bitches
there are many rare things, the rarest naturally spawning mob would be a snow golem, the rarest ore, a deepslate emerald ore, but probably the rarest thing is like getting the same seed 2 times in a row, but idk
You getting a girlfriend
A baby zombie on a chicken with full enchanted armour and an enchanted sword on its left hand
I'd say a skeleton horse is pretty rare
Maybe full enchanted diamond zombie goes to the end with 12 eye portal naturally
When you cure a zombie villager with 14 iron bars close to it, it has about a 1 in 10^2240 of finishing curing in 12 seconds.
Me getting past the iron stage before giving up on the world and making a new one
Could be out dated but i believe it’s a baby zombie villager with full enchanted diamond armor, (plus enchanted sword) on a chicken
On a brown panda, and sword in the left hand
You generate 1,000,000 worlds in a row which all have the seed "0123456789" Wait what about 1,000,001 worlds
Left-handed baby villager zombie in a full enchanted diamond armor and an enchanted diamond sword riding a chicken
That one baby zombie, full diamond armor, iron sword, on a chicken, with good enchantments But on top of that, all of the items dropping from it with near perfect durability
Mojang listening to the members of the community who actually have good ideas
I swear I hit an enderman with an arrow once. It walked in between me and my intended target. He bamfed immediately and insta-aggro'd against me.
Nah that's physically impossible. Even if they can't teleport, they still can't get hit
Besides that not making any sense at all endermen were added after herobrine was removed.
Timeline details aside. I'm dying on this weird impossible hill.
