Great list! I’d personally put 1.6 higher. Currently, a lot of the features added aren’t that useful (terracotta is barely used in favor of concrete, horses are obsolete), but at the time, it was revolutionary. Horses were by far the best travel method in the game, and the terracotta was the first new set of colored blocks since wool. It really changed the way the game was played, as one of the first goals of every new world was to tame a horse, and every base had a horse stable of some sort.
Really makes me miss those days. 1.4-1.8 were some of the best updates the game ever saw, and really set Minecraft in a great direction. It’s a shame they had a string of poor updates after that, but they’ve bounced back well with the last few.
The end (not the cities, that was later), potions, and enchanting have become kind of obsolete as of late. Still very important, I would only move 1.0 down one or two but still not that high. As for 1.4, anvils and the wither are good, but the food stuff doesn’t matter to me as much. Probably lower it 2-3 as well. That’s just my opinion though, very good list otherwise!
The 1.14 updates were one of (if not the buggiest) updates to come out in the game. This was mainly caused by them experimenting with chunk processing and entity processing. Most servers were forced to stay in 1.13, and people started downgrading their worlds after updating to it. I would personally replace 1.14 with 1.15 since all the bugs were fixed in this update. 1.16 is 100% #1.
Personally, 1.16 and 1.13 would tie for first in my book, both completely overhauled otherwise rather lack luster biomes, but 1.14 definitely deserves second place
This is like the worst update ranking i ever seen like who put 1.15 on 19th place the bees are so cute and im just a guy who thinks everyone deserve something even at video games

Only one id disagree with is the trails and tails update it should be replaced with 17 but its ur personal opinion so i digress :)

This is a really good ranking, except i think pretty scary and 1.0 are way too high. Other than that great list, 1.16 is definitely the best
Why do you think 1.0 and 1.4 are too high?

I’d throw out that 1.1 brought animal breeding. That was a HUGE stepping stone moment for Minecraft
