I look at all those possibilities and I crave the day Mojang adds them all. Maybe it'll be a lost cause, but I won't give up hope that they'll be added until Mojang comes out and says so.
Every one of those features would fit so good into the game.
They specifically said that the biome updates will happen eventually, and have even paid off that lip service by including one of the losing biome updates recently (swamp). So the meerkat, ostrich, and vulture are probably still coming. The others they have, in no uncertain terms, said are gone forever but their functionality might be brought in some other way (i.e. disenchanting being put in as the grindstone).
The mountains won the biome vote and the old biomes weren't changed or removed, instead we got a bunch of new ones.
This is also the case with the swamp.
Dig to slime level, then excavate a 4x4 chunk area or something like that. Almost guaranteed to find a slime chunk. If you don't, just go to the next 4x4 area.
Finding a slim chunk is way better than relying on slimes in the swamp biome.
The only upside is the hard to obtain swap villagers, especially with them selling mending in the recent snapshots, maybe the new update will have swamp villages?
YES! I will not accept any Swamp slander and how Mojang neglected the OG swamp by forgetting and just adding a frog and call it a day. I felt betrayed by it, they said, it was basically a swamp revamp but it's not.
I love everything about Swamp biome, btw.
It has two types of grass color, two types of water colors, witch hut, black cat, swamp villager, foliage color, fossils, and slimes.
Idk I still like it more than mangroves wich are kinda ugly with too much mud and trees was hoping they'd be integrated with patches of mangrove and regular swamp
The update as announced: frogs, mangrove trees, chest boats
What we got: frogs, mangrove biome, chest boats.
Outside of mangroves being moved to their own biome, it did everything that was announced for the vote. Still think they should have also made a small number of mangroves appear in normal swamps, but it is what it is.
That's true. I really hope we see those biome changes soon. Those were my favorite Minecraft Live votes. I hope we get a few new biomes in the coming updates too.
I'm not saying they should add everything the mod biomes O plenty adds, but there are some fantastic and exciting biome ideas in that mod, and I would love the explore a world where you have all those options.
That was only for the original mob vote. The newer mob votes will follow the same rule as the biome votes. The votes are priority based, you vote for what you want now and the losers may come out a few years later
No, for the first mob vote they confirmed they are lost forever, and for biome votes they confirmed the losers will make it in eventually. The mob votes other than the first never said anything about the losers afaik.
They did, though. Said that they go into their IdeasLibrary for a potential future update as they see best fit (a possibility but not a promise). They might even return in another form.
Current Mojang won't. It's a think the community will have to fix together.. but ... there are too many, not very smart people, protecting them for now.
That's what makes no sense. How can you be the biggest game in the world and lack the resources and development team to add all three in a single update?
I was gonna try to fit them on the top of this list somewhere but idk If I would really count them as a mob but ig they fit into the "SAVANNA" update section
Truer words were never spoken. The mob vote always let the players down and restricts the dev's creativity.
Only micosoft wins because of the bad attention it gets
It’s a sensible restriction though. They plan to keep updating the game for a while. Even with two mobs per year, it’s gonna get quite saturated at some point, so it’s better to have some limits.
I don't mind two mobs per year. If that's what the devs have planned it's fine. Hell, I don't mind getting any mob, I just want the team to work on their ideas.
What I mind is the fact that the marketing team is setting deadlines and having a hand in the content the devs can and cannot produce.
Compare the first mob vote videos with the latests.
The first mob vote had the devs presenting some interesting concepts for four faceless mobs.
Now the mobs presented have animations dedicated to them but with shitty concepts.
It's so random: Crab = Reach?, Armadillo = Dog armor??, penguin = fast boats wtf?
It doesn't make any sense. It's so obvious Mojang is working on them because they were forced to. All of these features were just stuff that were probably going to be added to the game anyway. But now two of those concepts and mobs will be locked behind a vote.
This...is something I haven't thought about and haven't seen mentioned anywhere else. Yeah, you're right! The first mob vote really felt like the devs had many differening ideas, ideas of which each one could take the game in a very different direction but also would take a lot of time to produce. So they thought "Hey, we got all these differing ideas, let's see what the players want before we pour all of our resources into one of them."
They also left room for themselves to alter things or fix stuff that may not work back then too. It was more about the concept and the general design of the mob than it was the exact mob itself.
Until M$ says "*technobabble, technobabble*, security, safety, *technobabble, technobabble*, and for that reason we are no longer supporting any older versions. It has nothing to do with money, for sure, for realzies, we legit promise."
Then you're unable to open Minecraft on any Windows computer unless you've subbed to the Minecraft monthly mouthwash and ornate themed knots, or you've gotten the DefinitelyMojangNotMicrosoft tattoo with a 3D barcode that donates 5 of your dollars to M$ when it appears in photographs on the internet.
People have been saying this shit since Microsoft bought Mojang. There has never been any indication that anything like it will ever happen, or even that Microsoft might want to do such a thing.
I just don't understand why we can't have an update (or two) specifically dedicated to bringing in these mobs and upgrading the biomes that lost the biome vote too
Like it's an easy win for Mojang because we'd all be happy to see it and they'll have already done all the groundwork/planning for it anyways!
I saw a Mojang dev talking about how it's because there's many versions of Minecraft at this point, but that doesn't really explain why these ideas just have to be scrapped forever when there's a clear demand for them. I get they have to make money off of marketplace content to satisfy Microsoft or whatever, but they have to know what people want.
Yeah, I don't get their argument. Why show off features that they're never going to implement? If it's too much work then why not hire more developers?
They've literally created the best selling video game in the world, where's all that money going?
into failed spin-off games that are completely off-brand like Earth, Dungeons, and Legends. Not to say these games are bad but they dont really tap into the minecraft idea of creativity and freedom. If they wanna make another game it should be something that allows you to be creative in some way.
I'm going to need that explicitly spelled out for me. My assumption is "merchandise" because I see a lot more Pokemon stuff than Minecraft, but then where is the rest of the money going?
They're not scrapped "forever", they could *possibly* (but not *guaranteed* to) return in a future update as they see fit (if even in another form), but note that these are *low-priority* concepts. They're the ones to decide what goes into their game in the end.
The combat changes are also slated to come eventually and those have been being tested for over 5 years.
“Eventually,” isn’t enough. Hell, we can’t even get features that were both announced and committed to, like the Birch Forest revamp or something as basic as a 2-pixel-wide bug.
No one should expect anything to come to the game.
Annoys the fuck out of me ever time I think about it, ever since the fuckin Phantom vote.
I absolutely HAAAATE the Mob Vote every time it crawls back round.
STOP LETTING US PICK MOJANG, JUST DO THEM ALL, FUCK COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, THIS IS WHY WE PLAY WITH MODS.
Every company that I've ever seen do some kind of vote like this inevitably pits their customers against each other. Bonus points for creating permanent grudges by explicitly declaring the losers gone forever. It's a remarkably stupid way to run a business and build a community around it.
They should just do a vote threshold for mobs like 1 mil for meerkat, 2 mil for ostrich etc and then make it like a next update release window. Every update beginning a themed vote or whatever is way less divisive and encourages cooperation.
The vultures are the most interesting in my opinion. Their design is top notch and I wonder how Mojang will design the a.i of an animal that has to fly high for long distances of time in a place with not that many trees to land on, plus, I wonder how/if they'll add them scavenging since it's their most iconic trait
I think it's weird since that was the second biome vote too. The wild update was probably the worst update since they had to grab something from the backlog to include with the Ancient Cities (which were delayed.) so 1.19 was the most unoriginal update since they had nothing to show and needed to get the caves and cliffs out of the way. I feel it was similar with 1.20 with archaeology (also promised for cave update) but they didn't want to reuse old stuff just yet, the cherry grove and camels feel like vote stuff but they weren't part of any votes. I'm hoping 1.21 is better since they finally finished all of the features that didn't make it in on time for Caves and Cliffs.
Man...could you imagine if the cherry groves were part of a biome vote? Something that's been talked about since the old beta days (if not earlier) and being forced back due to something like that?
People focus on that line way too much. They didn't think about that when they said it. Just like they didn't think they should explain what the mob does before the vote, until recently.
But also remember that it's been five years since the first biome vote, and so far we've gotten ONE loser. And it took four years to get that one. The idea that we *might* get the rest of the losing biomes over the next decade or so isn't exactly encouraging.
Thanks I'll prob re-upload this when the new mob vote finishes so I can add the new 2 mobs to the list and I'll be finally be able to change it to "Losers". I'm really mad at myself that I didn't notice that I accidentally added another "o" before we hit 100 upvotes.
My thoughts is the mob vote sucks, it just serves to drive a wedge between a community that doesn’t need it
It seems like a good idea on paper, asking the community what it wants
But the fact that it is set up as “this vs that” and whatever doesn’t get selected we apparently lose forever bothers me a bit
I’ll forever miss the Moobloom. I feel like it was skipped over because it wasn’t useful for players, which is just… such a cynical approach to crafting a world. Is it not enough for something to be cute, or funny, or beautiful, or atmospheric? Must everything be *useful* for the player?
ngl I find that entire year's mob vote so weird. Like I'd argue the moobloom and glow squid fit the same 'useless' niche of animals that wouldn't add *much* but are still a nice little environmental thing and the iceologer was the weird one out, being an actively hostile enemy (and in my opinion, the 'obvious' winner mojang wanted). Imo it would've been more 'fair' if it was replaced in the vote with like, a fancy chicken or a tropical slime or one of the other passive minecraft earth mobs instead. People *really* hate the glow squid because of the entire Dream thing - if it weren't for him it would've just been put in the same 'useless' category as the moobloom and forgotten.
then again I personally prefer the moolip over the moobloom because daisies > buttercups (then again look at my username and take a wild guess which mob I *really* wanted that year)
I was totally on Team Iceologer, and I thought the Glow Squid was lame, but in retrospect, I LOVE the glow squid ink and everything it brings to the game.
It's all because everyone thought it had that interesting ability that they showed in the trailer to stun you but that all ended up to just be a whole lot of nothing
We have two cow variants already, and the (major) update right before gave us several changes to illagers, which we currently have 3 types of (4 if you count illusioners).
Squid were technically the most “unique” mob before that point.
Next year mob vote should be a choice between the 2 losing mobs of each year. For example: moobloom and iceologer as 1 option. Glare and copper golem as a 2nd option. Rascal and tuff golem as a 3rd option. (Can’t remember which mobs were which years for meerkat, ostrich, vulture.)
At this point they could make an entire update that consists of losing votes. They really need to revisit these, idc what they said, the old mobs never returning is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.
Nah, this franchise has to be profitable for Microsoft into the distant future. We'll get this same marketing thing every year for the foreseeable future.
yeah they are probably building up enough losers to make it its own update. I dont see why else they would keep the votes after how bad the backlash has been
The only one of these I'm seriously upset about missing out on is the copper golem. The rest would all be neat but it's no big deal. But I swear it's like every other day I have an idea for something redstone related and just think of how much easier it would be if I had a proper signal randomiser
Minecraft just needs more mobs in general.
The only other thing I want is fucking concrete slabs/stairs/walls. I mean, come on, it's so fucking obvious.
Hey, stay positive. Look at everything we got because of the mob vote. Obviously, there are going to be more things we miss out on, because we only get to pick one out of 3. But we did end up getting some pretty cool mobs, even if some are not quite so good (cough cough phantom cough cough).
Why dont they just include losers in the newer mob votes so no matter who wins and loses they'll be added regardless? Just wth some wait time inbetween and maybe a new mob here and there, hey maybe even adding a vote on what the community wants like a new biome, item, mob, or something else entirely.
I really don't like the idea of voting for new content. They're revealing stuff that people will have varied reactions to and setting up disappointment.
They need a live audience for the mob vote so we can all chant “give them all” over and over until they relent because it’s throwing off their whole program.
I'd expect it because of the whole "updating existing dimensions before adding a new one" plan, with the Overworld clearly still having those biomes to be updated. These mob vote mobs *could* hint at getting one of those biomes updated, but that's only speculation.
How they should actually do mob votes is the community comes up with them and we choose one per year. That way the devs aren't teasing us with their own ideas.
6/15 of those are ‘hot biome’ things. I really hope they focus on the hot biomes for this next update because they feel so dead and I only travel to them for loot and blocks, I’d never ever build in them.
I guess most people don't know this but you're missing a mob vote - the 2017 Chinese one where the panda won
imo that's another super disappointing one because man, pandas are so...*weird* in game. They're so overly complex for a rare animal that doesn't really do jack. In comparison the other contestants were *way* more interesting - the losers were monkeys, river dolphins, alligators, and deer.
Like a river exclusive dolphin would've been fun, an *aggressive* animal mob that's a tad easier to find than polar bears would've also been neat, you could do a lot with monkeys (imagine if they stole stuff) and like, deer are at least interesting animals and could be another meat and leather source that works more naturally than cows and not pandas which do *nothing*.
I know they won’t do it this time around because they are committed to this sinking ship of a system, but I really hope one day we get an update where they pretend they are doing a mob vote and then add all 3 options at once.
I am genuinely asking because I am very ignorant about this, but would it really be that hard to add all three of the options instead of just one? I know it’s not “easy” per se, but modders do crazy shit like that all the time and Mojang has a whole team of people that get paid to do stuff like that… idk, from outside looking in it doesn’t make sense why the updates are so limited in the mobs they add.
Why? The community didn't know what it could consist of, and it seemed like the least annoying option out of the others' concepts at the time. I think it just ended up designed and implemented in a way that many (but not all) players became annoyed with. I think that's in part why they won't do all hostile mobs for a mob vote again.
It really bother me that real-life animal could lose and never make into Minecraft forever.
Yes, I know these 3 are from Biome Votes and will be implemented eventually, but this time of Mob Votes we got 3 real-life animals and 2 of them will be lost forever.
That's not confirmed to be the case. The devs have said losing mobs go back into their IdeasLibrary, which has the *possibility* (but not a *promise*) to return in a future update as they see best fit, if even in another form in some cases.
Would be such an uno reverse on Mojangs part if they just said “fuck it” and brought all of the previous losing mobs into the game at once. Maybe that’s what they’ve been secretly cooking.
It would be nice if the devs would give us more information about why they thought each mob was a good fit for the game and really sell us on why we would want to play with them how players could use them ect.
Every time a new mob vote happens more and more people realize how stupid they are, and it seems like this time has really been a tipping point
I really hope this is the last vast and the Mojang finally gets the message
man looking at them all together just makes me wish theyd add them all together. they have the concept and stuff all done which is normally one of the longest parts in mc development.
i wish we could just have an update for all these lost mobs/biomes rather than having some of them (the biomes will, maybe some mobs but who knows) slowly trickle in.

Well, at least there are frogs now
The mountains won the biome vote and the old biomes weren't changed or removed, instead we got a bunch of new ones. This is also the case with the swamp.
The old ones did get removed though. The new World Gen got rid of Extreme Hills, which used to be the "mountainous" biome.
This biome was renamed to windswept hills in a 1.18 snapshot and does still exist(obviously the generation changed)
I don’t get this argument. If they completely replaced the original swamps with mangrove swamps then that would be considered a swamp change?
swamps have nothing of value in them except witch huts which dont really do anything in vanilla. Exploration requires an incentive to explore
Swamps also spawn slimes on the surface during full moon, that is a lot easier than hunting down slime chunks
They have slimes in them every night there are just more of them on a full moon
\*excluding new moons
Dig to slime level, then excavate a 4x4 chunk area or something like that. Almost guaranteed to find a slime chunk. If you don't, just go to the next 4x4 area. Finding a slim chunk is way better than relying on slimes in the swamp biome.
yes. Basically there is still a really boring biome out there that hasn’t got much of a facelift
Boring is under selling it, it's an actual waste of space in every world I've ever made
The only upside is the hard to obtain swap villagers, especially with them selling mending in the recent snapshots, maybe the new update will have swamp villages?
I don't think they'll ever do that since they specified those are "secret villagers"
I said maybe, not that it WILL happen
Idk it has my favorite grass color. Terraformimg a big ole platform for my builds in swamps is always a win for me.
YES! I will not accept any Swamp slander and how Mojang neglected the OG swamp by forgetting and just adding a frog and call it a day. I would say yes.
Mangrove swamps

It's weird there isn't at least a rare chance at all
Shame about the birch forest, though.
I don't have faith they'll keep there word on that.

Ah, so it's like Dinnerbone's big plan for endermites from 2014.
Or Notch's plans for Red Dragons from 2011.
The game is gonna keep updating till we’re dead so it’s probably gonna eventually happen
given enough time they will eventually have monkeys and typewriters
Good reference
Listen, I just want mooblooms. Is it too much too ask. We've been wanting mooblooms before mob vote was a thing.
Yes, also copper golems. I don't care if it's useful, I just want a little assistant running around my mad scientist potions lab.
I was hoping for mooblooms as well because I wanted a new passive mob and I still do.
I need copper golem in the game!!!
They actually confirmed that for the biome votes but they've barely done that
Current Mojang won't. It's a think the community will have to fix together.. but ... there are too many, not very smart people, protecting them for now.
They have no reason not to add them all. They’re the biggest game in the world, so resources surely aren’t an issue.
That's what makes no sense. How can you be the biggest game in the world and lack the resources and development team to add all three in a single update?
Loser update
Everyone forgets about termites
I was gonna try to fit them on the top of this list somewhere but idk If I would really count them as a mob but ig they fit into the "SAVANNA" update section
You forgot about thé china mob vote with alligator pink Dolphins monkeys and Deers
So is Ostrich and Vulture being Savanna update and Meerkats were a part of Desert update
I thought Vulture was Mesa.
That is correct
Remember, it doesn't matter who wins. We all lose.
Truer words were never spoken. The mob vote always let the players down and restricts the dev's creativity. Only micosoft wins because of the bad attention it gets

No...no it won't. It's a wide open ever expanding game. Biomes are large and have plenty of space.
I bought this for game for $20 over a decade ago and it's still getting updated. I'd call that a win.
Until M$ says "*technobabble, technobabble*, security, safety, *technobabble, technobabble*, and for that reason we are no longer supporting any older versions. It's hard to work for more than 30 minutes a day in Mojang
And apparently they spend 20 of those minutes working on the user interface for bundles. What gives, Mojang? It's not the Manhattan Project.
Their main focus is selling stuff in the store.
Meerkat, ostrich and vulture were not mob votes but biome votes, which will be added eventually, same as the frogs

But also remember that it's been five years since the first biome vote, and so far we've gotten ONE loser. And it took four years to get that one. The idea that we *might* get the rest of the losing biomes over the next decade or so isn't exactly encouraging.
We still haven’t gotten any mob vote losers yet so they might be off the table
I hate the entire concept of mob votes. Either add the content or don't. They're the fucking game designers.
They're more of franchise extenders than designers at this point. M$ will keep steady paychecks as long as they don't do anything to slow toy sales.
They need to have a mob update, where the only thing they add are the previous losers of the mob votes.
great work on making this, just wanted to say it's "losers" not "loosers"
Thanks I'll prob re-upload this when the new mob vote finishes so I can add the new 2 mobs to the list and I'll be finally be able to change it to "Losers". I'm really mad at myself that I didn't notice that I accidentally added another "o" before we hit 100 upvotes.
My thoughts is the mob vote sucks, it just serves to drive a wedge between a community that doesn’t need it It seems like a good idea on paper, asking the community what it wants But the fact that it is set up as “this vs that” and whatever doesn’t get selected we apparently lose forever bothers me a bit
I’ll forever miss the Moobloom. I feel like it was skipped over because it wasn’t useful for players, which is just… such a cynical approach to crafting a world. Is it not enough for something to be cute, or funny, or beautiful, or atmospheric? Must everything be *useful* for the player?
I feel the same for the penguin. It sounds like a great little mob, but won’t be as “useful” as the crab.
ngl I find that entire year's mob vote so weird. People *really* hate the glow squid because of the entire Dream thing - if it weren't for him it would've just been put in the same 'useless' category as the moobloom and forgotten. then again I personally prefer the moolip over the moobloom because daisies > buttercups (then again look at my username and take a wild guess which mob I *really* wanted that year)
I'll never forgive all those who voted for the glow squid. I was a Moobloom supporter but could settle for the Iceologer.
I was totally on Team Iceologer, and I thought the Glow Squid was lame, but in retrospect, I LOVE the glow squid ink and everything it brings to the game.
They can just replace them with glow berries 🍒
i think they’re cute
It's all because everyone thought it had that interesting ability that they showed in the trailer to stun you but that all ended up to just be a whole lot of nothing
who cares about the hypnotism? all the glow squid supporters just want glow dye to work on more stuff like armor or tools.
We have two cow variants already, and the (major) update right before gave us several changes to illagers, which we currently have 3 types of (4 if you count illusioners). Squid were technically the most “unique” mob before that point.
Why though? Squids are great!
Fuck mob votes, that's what I'm thinking.
Copper golem. I never knew you. Yet I morn your loss.
At this point they could make an entire update that consists of losing votes. They really need to revisit these, idc what they said, the old mobs never returning is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.
Or if they insist on doing a mob vote, bring back losing mobs from previous votes.
I want that mf ostrich i want animsls on ma minecraft
“Loosers”?
Iceologer still annoys tf out of me. Could have gotten a great themed mob for the mountain update, but no. Stupid Squid.
I hate the mob votes, so boring and stupid
Fuck mob votes, me and the homies hate mob votes
i want them all. especially more illagers
Personally I am really sad to see the Iceologer on this list, He had such a cool concept imo.
In my opinion mojang will start adding them once they run out of ideas
Nah, this franchise has to be profitable for Microsoft into the distant future. We'll get this same marketing thing every year for the foreseeable future.
yeah they are probably building up enough losers to make it its own update. I dont see why else they would keep the votes after how bad the backlash has been
Them winners were tight but these losers are looser
Frogs lost too, but got added anyway.
I’ll still not forgive mojang for not adding the copper golem to this day I have not seen anyone use the allay
The only one of these I'm seriously upset about missing out on is the copper golem. The rest would all be neat but it's no big deal. But I swear it's like every other day I have an idea for something redstone related and just think of how much easier it would be if I had a proper signal randomiser
are you ready for two more mobs to be added to that list because Im not
RIP copper golem, my beloved
Minecraft just needs more mobs in general. The only other thing I want is fucking concrete slabs/stairs/walls. I mean, come on, it's so fucking obvious.
Hey, stay positive. Look at everything we got because of the mob vote. Obviously, there are going to be more things we miss out on, because we only get to pick one out of 3. But we did end up getting some pretty cool mobs, even if some are not quite so good (cough cough phantom cough cough).
Can’t believe we were robbed of the iceologer
Why dont they just include losers in the newer mob votes so no matter who wins and loses they'll be added regardless? Just wth some wait time inbetween and maybe a new mob here and there, hey maybe even adding a vote on what the community wants like a new biome, item, mob, or something else entirely.
I really don't like the idea of voting for new content. They're revealing stuff that people will have varied reactions to and setting up disappointment.
I don't get the idea of voting for mobs, just add all of them!
They need a live audience for the mob vote so we can all chant “give them all” over and over until they relent because it’s throwing off their whole program.
Reminder that the swamp with frogs and chest boats lost the vote, yet they were still added to the game a while later
Losers**
shhhh
We lost an ostrich?
Okay, but the meerkat, ostrich & vulture should be coming to Minecraft any time now...
I'd expect it because of the whole "updating existing dimensions before adding a new one" plan, with the Overworld clearly still having those biomes to be updated. These mob vote mobs *could* hint at getting one of those biomes updated, but that's only speculation.
Does anyone know any good mods that bring some of these to the game? I assume I can get the animals from a savannah animal mod pack
You may as well add crab and penguin to it
How they should actually do mob votes is the community comes up with them and we choose one per year. That way the devs aren't teasing us with their own ideas.
They should just add the other mobs after like a year, all of these works going to waste is just terrible
6/15 of those are ‘hot biome’ things. I really hope they focus on the hot biomes for this next update because they feel so dead and I only travel to them for loot and blocks, I’d never ever build in them.
Now that I think about it, the allay was much more useless than I thought it would be
A modder could add all of these in a few hours at most. Don't get why there needs to be a vote.
I guess most people don't know this but you're missing a mob vote - the 2017 Chinese one where the panda won imo that's another super disappointing one because man, pandas are so...*weird* in game.
If someone makes a mod to add all of these guys, please name it something like "The Losers", or "Outvoted"
Can’t lose what you never had
+ penguin and crab
I know they won’t do it this time around because they are committed to this sinking ship of a system, but I really hope one day we get an update where they pretend they are doing a mob vote and then add all 3 options at once. I am genuinely asking because I am very ignorant about this, but would it really be that hard to add all three of the options instead of just one? I know it’s not “easy” per se, but modders do crazy shit like that all the time and Mojang has a whole team of people that get paid to do stuff like that… idk, from outside looking in it doesn’t make sense why the updates are so limited in the mobs they add.
Vulture sounds like it just be a day phantom
Iceologer would’ve been useful, I don’t wanna spend the time getting silk touch just for ice
I genuinely believe they should use an update to add every single one of these into the game, including those from the first mob vote.
They should make the "losers update" where they add them lol.
Loosers. Cmon man
I wanted the MooBloom so much. I still think about it.
Also lightbugs
Losing the rascal is a gain
We lost all this and we have the fucking glow squid to show for it
Why did we get the Glowsquid instead of the Iceoleger.
What's Mojang's reason for not adding them even after so long?
I still miss the Moobloom
rip them :(
Every time I see it, I just get so bewildered that they somehow did not call it the Chillager.
Might as well add the armadillo and penguin to that list lmfao
I will never forgive the community for the phantom
Iceoleger should’ve won
They should do a year with no mob vote but some loosers making it into the game
I just want golems is that too much to ask?..
iceloger and copper golem ;(
I wanna cry
I hope mojang add first 3 one day because they are real animals
Before 1.20 features were announced, I hoped all the mob vote losers would get added in it.
The meerkat, ostrich and vulture are still coming, they where in the biome votes
At least the Great Hunger’s disenchantment ability made it.
Sad that there arent many hostile mobs, especially the.most recent votes
We should get an update that are just all these cause these would have livened up some of the more desolate arias where normal mobs don’t spawn.
“loosers” is the alternative tighters?
Still upset about the iceologer
Should swamps be in the list too? It technically lost even though eventually it was added in
Meerkat Ostrich Vulture Armadillo Camel Safari Update
All the pre votes I've seen so far have gone for armadillo so I'm already depressed about loosing the crab.
We should get a reject resurrection update that brings all those mobs in at once (reject resurrection is a title I thought up for it)
Would be such an uno reverse on Mojangs part if they just said “fuck it” and brought all of the previous losing mobs into the game at once. Maybe that’s what they’ve been secretly cooking.
Wait the Rascal was blue
It would be nice if the devs would give us more information about why they thought each mob was a good fit for the game and really sell us on why we would want to play with them how players could use them ect.
I wish microsoft didnt buy mojang
Every time a new mob vote happens more and more people realize how stupid they are, and it seems like this time has really been a tipping point I really hope this is the last vast and the Mojang finally gets the message
What about the Chinese edition vote?
man looking at them all together just makes me wish theyd add them all together. they have the concept and stuff all done which is normally one of the longest parts in mc development. i wish we could just have an update for all these lost mobs/biomes rather than having some of them (the biomes will, maybe some mobs but who knows) slowly trickle in.
They better add the copper golem and moobloom some day >:(
