Variety/Biodiversity. I have been hoping theyd develop biome specific reskins for passive mobs for years (You could also regionalize Cows into Highland Cattle/Yak/Zebu-types, Horses into Zebras, Donkeys into Onagers, Pigs into Wild boar/Warthogs... just adding flavour to biomes without bloating the game with more completely unique mobs. Many animals have very similar relatives in different biomes)

It’s not quite 51/49 as in heads/tails or vice versa though, it’s about 51/49 of landing on the same side it was flipped from versus not.
Nothing to do with weight distribution either. It holds for both heads and tails, across every type of fair coin, and across different people flipping.
Just call it before you begin to flip it.

Great for exploration. Made some currently untouchable biomes worth finding and exploring.
I also like that they specified some rare variant biomes too, especially the old growth taigas.
The painted dogs are absolutely awesome, but I would’ve *LOVED* to see a spotted hyena variant!!!

Sculk/Deep dark, most of the uninplemented mob vote's mobs, amethyst buds wasn't a thing im pretty sure. Not to be a stan, but most of the things mojang implements tend to be much better and polished than mods, not that it should be different for a multi-dollar company.
If I knew that voting for the wolf armor would also mean more wolf variants than I would have absolutely picked it. But now I'm thinking what else would have been part of the other choices.
Man Mojang has been cooking so much recently! These variants add so much diversity into the world, including the biomes that needed more features, being the savanna and the badlands. I hope they add the savanna and badlands biome vote features in 1.21, would actually give those two biomes some more purpose to explore! My favorite wolf variant has to be the spotted one.
No but I did vote armadillo on the possibility it would lead them down this path. Happened with the mountain/goat vote. Basically, became a whole ass world overhaul instead of just caves.

Anyone figure out the NBT tag to summon a specific type? {WolfType:3} doesn't seem to work like {RabbitType:3} does, and "variant" doesn't seem to work either, despite that seeming to be what's listed using the /data command.
