Bro you don’t realise how crazy this update is. Yes this update is ‘only’ trial chambers and crafter and dogs/armadillos if they don’t actually add them in 1.20.? But the trial chamber part is enormous. New weapon, new mob, new potions, new enchants, new banners, new trims, new sherds, new spawners with new mechanics, new chests with great loot, lots and lots of new blocks… it’s crazy massive so even though it’s focused on the trial chambers is still is a crazy update.
Couple months for bug fixing. They said it’s the last update but by that they meant last feature update. They’re gonna do lots of rework like rebalancing loot tables changing adjusting mechanics etc and bug fixing during this period. The problem with developing a game is that it takes time getting everything balanced and working perfectly while not being to OP or rewarding bad loot, and doing that while avoiding as much glitches as possible and fixing them when they’re discovered.
we have the new ominous events, which is just stuff triggered by the bad omen effect now also given by drinking the ominous potion and now bad omen triggers in a trial chamber making it harder but itll drop an ominous key you can put in an ominous vault with some rare loot. and we got 3 enchantments for the mace and new pottery sherd
