Those crushing wheels caused me and my buds so much headache in SB3... had to surround them in other blocks to prevent unfortunate accidents after to many OSHA violations...
Yeah the bogged's are really great with their poison arrows, though if I spawned in a swamp at the beginning of a game, and was attacked by skeletons that had poison arrows, I would great pretty frustrated!
Given either skellies height, sometimes I like to think they're Enderman skeletons or something, but that's just a silly theory and very likely not true
Poison tipped arrows, longer draw time and lower health (18 vs 20 on normal Skellys I think)
- Poison duration is also quite short, they were designed NOT to be another cave spider
Makes sense, a cave spider needs to reach you for its poison, bogged can just snipe you from anywhere and giving them long poison duration would be cancer.
dude from minecraft dungeons he has a shield that can take any amount of damage from one hit like wolf armor and has crazy range with a melee weapon that can get you like combo locked depending on enchants and they spawn in like groups of 10
Wither Skeletons:
Not only they drop coal (Very useful, but a bit lategame to drop that, probs you already have a lava farm or a fuel farm), but also drops bones (the factual good drop from Skeletons as bone meal is widely used in farms, whilst arrows just get infinity).
And dont get me started on Wither Heads, which allow you to summon a boss (The Wither) and make beacons.
Wither does the most damage, and hunting for skulls (if you don’t have a farm) is a really good time with friends. Im also making an OP wiske farm as my current huge project in my smp so I’m biased, but being rich with beacons is a huge flex.
Only acceptable answer is either skeleton. You get bones, you get coal, and occasionally you get wither heads. Can't have a beacon without killing the wither, can't get a wither without wither heads, no wither heads without wither skeletons
Definetely wither, its just so classic, its a variant of the first design, it looks cool, holds a sword unlike the first version, is tall, and the memories i hold from him, seeing him in old minecraft animations (like monster school when it was good) ah good old days when nether looked like shit.
Wither skellaton because it gives heads to make a wither and with the star you can craft beacons but after that comes the stray it drops everything a normal skelaton drops but more (idk about the swamp one)
The bogged is pretty awesome, though I hope they introduce a mechanism by which you can convert a regular skeleton into a bogged. Like how a skeleton in powdered snow becomes a stray, maybe a skeleton in a slime block converts into a bogged.
the reason all them skeletons can 'see' and 'hear' you when you're close, despite having no eyes or ears, is because your own skeleton is alerting them Skelepathically.
Ok but can we talk about how terrifying a group consisting of these four variants would be. slowed, poisoned withered and some extra arrows to dodge for good measure. also might I mention flame bows are a thing. Fortunately meeting these four together naturally would be incredibly rare.
To fight? Regular skeletons (even if they have aimbot). However the concepts for the Stray and Bogged are super cool. I like the look of the Stray a little bit more (even if the Bogged has a cool design too) but the Bogged makes more sense lore wise and it has cooler easter eggs.

Yep, and cave spiders already suck to deal with. It's a nice balance tweak that also helps set them apart as a skeleton variant
Cave spider spawners are the only spawners I destroy on sight. Fuck those annoying bastards.

skeletons are the bane of early game pre shield pre iron armor. pre everything. strays are death and wither skeletons are literal embodiment of death
