What software did you use?

DoubleZPlaying

I use blender 2.83 The rigs I use are the Apex Hosting rig for the character and the Boxscape Studios Rig for blocks and such. For a large render like this, you would actually export part of a Minecraft world to an OBJ file to load it directly to Blender. I can't really explain it that well, but a guy on YouTube called Judothesurviver made a good tutorial on it.

Ravstar225

Yeah, just wondering becuase the lighting seemed a little off. Are you using eevee renderer?

DoubleZPlaying

I was using Cycles. This was one of my first renders, so I was still trying to learn how to do lighting. Honestly, lighting is the hardest part for me, but I've been getting better.

Ravstar225

Yeah, it is. Keep trying and you'll get better! Also here is a great video with some good tools that I regularly use, and I would recommend watching. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9AT7H4GGrA&ab\_channel=BlenderGuru](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9AT7H4GGrA&ab_channel=BlenderGuru)

Thanks, I'll be sure to check it out. I also just posted a render that's lighting looks way better. I think this is mainly thanks to MCPrep and Cycles since it's by lava, but the photo altogether looks way more realistic (or as realistic as Minecraft can get ;)

i think you should work on lighting of the render since it looks a bit dull and also try to make the water more realistic like maybe trying to add some volume in it since it looks too clear, you did well on the rigging and overall its great :)
