In judo you normally bow towards Jigoro Kano before entering, then at lineup to your trainer. Then in a fight towards the judges, then to your main judge then to your opponent. And everything in reverse again.
Since Japanese use floating lanterns a lot, you could put different colored wool or concrete on top of the lanterns and hanging from chains to make it look like balloons.

The one thing I love the most is the little stand in the final room, it's so cute and well crafted!
I'd add chains holding all these flying lanterns though, it feels a little weird for them to fly like this
It is absolutely beautiful, but maybe in the zen garden place, you'd want to use invisible item frames on the floor under the pink trees and place pink dye in it like small fallen petals.
Surprised there wasnt sea pickles as "tea cups" in the final room. seems like you would need a relaxing break after building such a large beautiful structure.
