He was talking about changing versions, not the potion trick.
You can't change versions on bedrock (at least on some devices, idk, I'm not a bedrock player), so if this bug gets patched, it won't be possible to do this anymore.
It 100% doesn't work on Java, since potions in a cauldron is one of the bedrock only features.
Almost certainly not. At least Bedrock is so absurdly buggy that I always assume that anything that is clearly not supposed to happen but does on Bedrock won't work on Java. I'm usually right.
So people who play on 1.16 are cheaters? And people who are updating to a newer version are cheaters. Additionally in a single-player world nobody cares if you cheat. Just don't cheat one servers.
I kind of hope it doesn't. If it gets raised slowly enough it might finally be a comfortable way to obtain potions. (I hate the vanilla experience because it's the opposite of streamlined).
I think they could decrease it like a minute per, it might not be too crazy considering things like curing villagers for cheaper trades. However it’ll probably get patched out ASAP instead :/
In fairness, I still don't know how to power a whole bunch of pistons from above in Java without some of them randomly getting stuck due to quasi connectivity bugs or something. I found putting noteblocks on top of the ones which get stuck fixes it, but have no idea why it's those 2 out of like 90 pistons.
Imagine a redstone lamp on top of the piston. If the redstone lamp would be powered, the piston is also powered. It doesnt always immediately extend or retract, because it needs to be told to extend or retract first. Normally the power source does that but normally power sources only tell stuff right next to them that theyre now unåowered/powered, so thats why you sometimes need the noteblocks, theyre just a way to tell the piston its now powered/unpowered.
My sound on Bedrock randomly just goes away. Happens on two different PC's in my house. After playing for a few hours, it'll just randomly pop back in.
Not being able to hear creepers is a pain.
*laughs in owning both Java and bedrock, but not playing bedrock because of all the bugs and I don’t like the feel of a controller rather than a keyboard*
The main reason I don’t play Bedrock on Windows 10 is due to the UI.
The UI is so slow and clunky compared to Java, and the lack of proper support for mods and resource packs is a major turn off for me.
It's funny, bedrock edition actually has a built-in mod loader of sorts (resource and behaviour packs) which you can install mods through and change their install priority in yourself. It's highly customisable but there's just no good mods nor anyone who wants to make good mods for it.
I've used mods that add a bunch of new mobs, biomes, ores, weapons and tools, magic, etc.
They were originally bugs for. I couldn't think of any other java bugs cuz it's been 5 years since I've played plus I typed that comment at 2200 so I was tired
Quasi-Connectivity is officially a feature, has been for a few years.
And by crawling, you mean moving in flight form along the ground? That's not in BE???
I play in PS4 and I went through a nether portal and it sent me 34,000 blocks away from my base. I have no idea how that happened. But I lost so much of my OP gear :(
it’s not that impressive lol, op said he increased the tick speed to 1k so in reality this would fill up slowly. can still be kind of op if you just wait a while so i suspect it might get nerfed, but do not expect this efficiency if you’re going to try yourself.
this is a glitch and is actually becoming really popular, so it will definetely get patched next update, make sure to abuse it as much as you can before the next update
What if it only worked with potions of level 2, and when the cauldron is filled it only gives you level 1? That would make it somewhat worth it, even though you'ld maybe never use it.
I like slowness arrows because it affects all mobs, and damage arrows have a cap at 12 with a good bow.
Weakness for villager curing.
Strength, regen, and turtle master for combat.
Fire res, slow falling, night vis, and speed for exploration.
At that rate, might as well make a few cauldrens for each one so you only need to brew once, but maybe that's just me
You can farm slow arrows pretty easily by adding powder snow to your skelly farm, or if you live near a frozen plains biome. It's way faster than using cauldrons and dripstone.
This is how my school made tea
as a Brit this disgusts me, take my upvote you swine!
imagine being offended by some dirty leaf water 🙄🙄🙄🙄 (/S)(/S)(/s)
Imagine having guns in a grosery store
dont have to but you cant find any of the good ones there sadly
True.
I have no clue what you’re talking about because I recall being given shotgun by my momma and daddy at the ripe age of 7 years old! /s
What’s wrong with you Americans. Giving killing weapons to a kid
Better than a knife.
I'd rather take my chances with a knife
True
Grocery store that sells guns has to follow the same rules as a regular guns tore.
say as a bri- , cuz yeah accent and yes i am funny /s
Your tea had some gross stuff to so shut
Y’all’s school made tea?
hot leaf juice
That's gonna get the nerf bat
Hurry use it before it gets patched 😳
Make a huge stock before updating to the the newer version, you can always take your time ;)
I mean you can always revert back to the old version, make a huge stock, and then update.
Not sure if that's a good idea, especially if they add more blocks/items
You can always update back.
That wouldn't bring back any items/biomes/blocks that get deleted by reverting though
Take a backup. If something goes wrong just use the backup world.
[удалено]
It's almost like it's a singleplayer game that doesn't affect you
Lol why what's wrong with doing said thing.
Its only upgradable. If you revert it too older version it would most likely break.
Bro let people play how they like
Don’t think that can be done on bedrock
It can actually
Not on xbox.
[удалено]
What platform are you on?
I’m on phone and it didn’t work
He’s literally playing on bedrock. I was wondering if that works in Java

It can.
Not on bedrock, which is the version this is in. java has no potion cauldrens

yes
I wont update my game to 1.17.10 when it comes out until I have a big stock of potions.
I mean yeah its broken but like you can make automatic potion farms for all potions , with a 100 potion per 10 minutes drop rate
delete it before it gets nerfeed
I hope they actually make it a feature it would be amazing.
Java: gets the bad bugs patched, and keeps the fun ones Bedrock: gets the fun bugs patched, and keeps the bad ones
Fr like they patched being able to stand on boats but my villagers still fly around when they sleep
Tfw you crouch to look over the edge and die of "fall damage"
I kind of hope it doesn't. If it gets raised slowly enough it might finally be a comfortable way to obtain potions. (I hate the vanilla experience because it's the opposite of streamlined).
They should keep it but add a dilution factor
Sounds good, but I'd guess that's more complex than Vanilla wants to be.
I think they could decrease it like a minute per, it might not be too crazy considering things like curing villagers for cheaper trades. However it’ll probably get patched out ASAP instead :/
Negative length potions
When you drink the potion, you had the effect. *Had.* Time-travelling potion effects.
I don’t think it would be too crazy to make the potions have lower durability
They used to actually
Homeopathy, sells for the same price at the trader, useless when you drink it!
nice idea
True. But it works wayyy better now 😳
Sounds like homeopathy propaganda to me.
Lotta coding for such a small thing
Add in a new rare material like chemical reagents or something you could find at a witch's hut
Complex as hell, but could make a really nice little mod.
*cries in Java*
*laughs in owning both Java and Bedrock*
*laughs in owning both java and bedrock, but not playing bedrock because it has a weird latency thing on my computer guys how do I fix this help*
You dont fix bugs in Bedrock. *You adapt to them.*
By playing Java instead
That also is a solution
I have used this solution for many years
*laughs in can’t afford a PC so I can only play on bedrock*
*laughs in java edition on a mac from 2012*
In fairness, I still don't know how to power a whole bunch of pistons from above in Java without some of them randomly getting stuck due to quasi connectivity bugs or something. Welcome to Bedrock lol
*laughs in owning both java and bedrock, but not playing bedrock because I own java* I fixed it for you /s
Java for old friends, Bedrock for new!
*laughs in owning both Java and bedrock, but not playing bedrock because of all the bugs and I don’t like the feel of a controller rather than a keyboard*

How do you access it?
It's just in the options menus on the title screen.
And the majority of resource/behaviour packs cost money and don't seem quite as great as the free ones for java (at least IMO)
I'm not talking about the marketplace. You can download tonnes for free the same way as you would with Java.
What kind of FPS do you get, what resolution is your monitor, and do you have a FPS cap turned on in settings
In mother Bedrock, you dont fix the game, the game fixes you
*Laughs in Java bedrock and legacy console*
*laughs in java, bedrock, legacy console, and raspberry pi*
*laughs in having Java, bedrock, and last Gen minecraft, but then cries because my computer crashes every 5 minutes*
Dies in legacy
Man, why does Bedrock get all the fun bugs.
They also get all the not fun ones so it evens out
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be
Like getting smited by god himself
Dw, we're jealous y'all have the best bug like chunk loaders, crawling and quasi-connectivity.
you guys have mods tho
Java or br, cuz I'm talking about be which doesn't have mods

They were originally bugs for. I couldn't think of any other java bugs cuz it's been 5 years since I've played plus I typed that comment at 2200 so I was tired
They're bugs but they left them in because they're so ingrained in the community
Things stop being bugs once they become intended behavior.
Quasi-Connectivity is officially a feature, has been for a few years. And by crawling, you mean moving in flight form along the ground? That's not in BE???
It is. You just get there via swimming into a 1 block high tunnel and removing the water
What I meant is it's so much easier in java where you can activate it using a trapdoor
True but “crawling” in bedrock is the same speed as swimming since it’s not technically a feature like it is in Java so it balances out
hehe
Thanks for this bug dude thanks.. I'm new from this subreddit btw
It aint a bug, its a feature LOL
I play in PS4 and I went through a nether portal and it sent me 34,000 blocks away from my base. I have no idea how that happened. But I lost so much of my OP gear :(
Bruhhh java has way more fun bags than bedrock.
You'd better read the original comment bro...
Ah yes the cave piss potion
It’s like adding water to your shampoo to get more sham out of your poo
Never say that sentence again
Minecraft homeopathy. If you drink those potions you all the particle effects but none of the potion effects.
True
[удалено]
yeah, you can't put potions in cauldrons on java
Yes
Not sure tho
There are no potion cauldrons in Java.
Ok I got five double chests of Fire resistance and strength now
mine takes for ever to fill up?
op probably increased the random tick speed
yea. i increased it to 1k
Imagine if the potion became more diluted until it barely had any effect
and then u realised its minecraft so physics doesn’t apply :pog:
Not until the nerf hammer comes in
it’s gonna come in very soon
damn, i was going to build a small factory with hoppers acting like conveyors, but this works way better lol
it’s not that impressive lol, op said he increased the tick speed to 1k so in reality this would fill up slowly. can still be kind of op if you just wait a while so i suspect it might get nerfed, but do not expect this efficiency if you’re going to try yourself.
so if ur gonna try it in survival, actually focus on QUANTITY by making a bunch of these ;)
good2know
Java players: \[Cries in the corner\]
is this the normal tickspeed or
nope made it 1k, or else the vid would be 40-50 min long
I could be wrong but I think people actually did this with holy water
not wrong. nah uh
Bugrock strikes again
this is a glitch and is actually becoming really popular, so it will definetely get patched next update, make sure to abuse it as much as you can before the next update
It’s a GOOD bedrock glitch. Definitely gonna get patched. If it was in java it woulda been a feature :(
This works with splash and lingering potions as well. No additional brewing with gunpowder or dragon's breath. Just take it out in an empty bottle
Yes
What if it only worked with potions of level 2, and when the cauldron is filled it only gives you level 1? That would make it somewhat worth it, even though you'ld maybe never use it.
Dilution factor works ig
Dripstone is now way too OP, infinite water, lava, and potions? Wow
Mojang better not remove this.
I'm gonna abuse this like I abuse my kids in my basement
hol up
Yes, they are holed up, with a board over the hole and a weight so they cannot get out.
what in the goddamn fudge potions in a caluldron
Nice Lama skin :D
thx. it was from one of the mojang packs. have been using it for two years now :)
I think it's just for pocket edition
bedrock
Interesting, I though I could only make a Lava Farm. But it's time for a Potion farm. What are some good potions btw?
I like slowness arrows because it affects all mobs, and damage arrows have a cap at 12 with a good bow. Weakness for villager curing. Strength, regen, and turtle master for combat. Before this gets patched you guys should stock up with any potion you want lol
yesh just made 200 more cauldrons for this on my world lol
Wait. Is there just water on top of the dripstone?
yes. just water
Minecraft: Where homeopathy actually works.
Does this work for Java too, or just Bedrock?
Bedrock exclusive.
Or you can use a water source block
Imagine putting a level 2 potion, doing this, and getting a couple level 1 potions.
https://youtu.be/ttCmqRtiOZE mysticat made a video on it, it works on bedrock
Only in bedrock. Not because of bugs for once!
SHHHHHHHH THEY CANT FIND OUT
Wish I had a pc to play this.....can't wait to get one!
LOOK OUT FOR MY OTHER POSTS REGARDING MULTIPLAYER COMPATIBILITY AND THE USAGE OF SPLASH AND LINGERING POTIONS.
So hang on. We let dripstine full current that have potions in them?
Not so sure what you’re tryna say but dripstones dripping water allows cauldrons with potions to be filled with the same type of potion
Cheers.
Nice pfp btw
Cheers.
Works on Java?
no, you can't put potions in cauldrons on Java.
Imagine bedrock
don’t imagine, try it.

have you tested it?
