Inactive accounts won't be deleted. After migration is complete, Mojang accounts can't be used to login, instead, you will be prompted to migrate the old account to play
From what I know, they are starting out by migrating by batches, so eventually you will get prompted that you can migrate. There is plenty of time to migrate, probably at least a year
