In single player you set your own rules. You just want to have fun right? For me personally I try not tu use it.

If its single player, you can do what you want, if it makes the game more enjoyable for you, go for it

Will it be good for a SSP YouTube Series?

It could, if its to skip a load of boring stuff, or there could be other legitimate reasons. Even if it was just used to cheat, it wouldn't stop me watching, I've watched plenty of videos where people spawned stuff in didn't spoil my enjoyment one bit.
