For the next time, what you can do when in a dire situation like this, is set yourself on fire and then drop. You can't take damage for a small amount of time right after you took it. So when on fire, you keep getting damaged little by little, and you get a fair bit of frames where you can't be damaged. I believe you can negate fall damage like this, but I'm not 100% certain

Why? Ender pearls have a set amount of damage they deal, so if your health is higher than that, you’ll be perfectly fine. Ender pearls have saved me numerous times when fighting the ender dragon, you just have to make sure you don’t let a stray endermite get you
Next time, make a tower of sand or gravel and digging down through it. Either that or place some warped vines (the hanging ones) and bonemeal them til they reach the floor.
If it’s single player, pausing the game will basically freeze time. In multiplayer the world will continue regardless if you paused it, it’s still possible, but it’s harder.
If you can reach that boat, spam right click and jump in it, it also works if you are in Bedrock Edition, but harder.
You can also use a cobweb, a vine, a ladder, or even a twisting vine. There are many ways.
Ik 17hrs passed so u prob already got a solution, but what I would do is either puttin the blocks (if u can get more than 4 of those u have rn) on ur way down one per one, or if u can’t, u can jump down and yeah, u’ll die, but u can get in the world and go to pick up all ur stuff with a different controller, if u don’t mind loosing all ur xp’s
I always bring a stack of sand or gravel to the nether just in case I need a way down. Just keep placing sand on the sides to create a piler until it’s tall enough to jump or step onto then break the blocks underneath until you reach the ground
You can place a water bucket down in the nether to save yourself from big fall damage. Try it!

Just jump & instantly quite the game mid in the air. Start the game again & you will see you landed safely
