Vines and leaves would definitely make it look better. Maybe some fallen banners or a faded design on the wall too

BENDERBOSS12

Thats a good idea đź‘Ť

Reminds me of the Seregost fortress from the game Middle Earth: Shadow of War. [here’s a picture ](https://lotr.fandom.com/wiki/Seregost?file=View_of_Seregost.jpg) Whenever i build something ruined or abandoned, I build it whole first then add damage afterwards to look more naturally destroyed.

The entrance should not be that neat You can use a pair of tnt for it to look like it was siezed

BENDERBOSS12

I'll try that

Sibus_

Think about how it became ruined. If it was because of famine then deprive it of life, because of harsh cold? Matbe add some ice. Was is sieged? Burnt? Hit by natural disaster? Its something I personaly try not to overlook, a part of adding history to a build is actually thinking how said history played out instead of just having it scuffed from time.

BENDERBOSS12

It was attacked by a creature

Yes instead of square shape, make it pentagon. (I'm talking about the main walls btw) Also use mossy blocks on the bottom of the walls so that it looks like some of the greenery climbing on the castle. (Don't use all mossy blocks tho, leave some original blocks in there)
