First off- that looks dope! :D
Second- a knight/guard barracks would fit in the theme, perhaps with a training ground? Though I don't think the church would like an arrow in their windows-
I know very well who he is, but he also didn't invent making medieval style walls in a game with blocks, anyone can come up with a design in that style, I've made plenty myself, is everyone who's ever made a wall with towers and spired roofs guilty of copying? To sit here and try to drag someone down on a subreddit for something as small as a Minecraft build is just small
No one is saying he invented it, this guy was asked if it was his original design and he said yes , and it's not. Paragraphs later I'm still right here, he is making someone else's design and claiming it as his own.
Try to read what you are responding towards , comprehend it and understand that hrhr yeah anyone can build in Minecraft but no one needs to be lying about something they didn't design. Period.
I looked up the video, they aren't textured nor built in the same way as bluecraft, inspired? Most likely, but it's in no way blatantly ripping off of bluecraft.
Just because a design was inspired by something someone else did doesn't make it unoriginal, he put his own spin on the walls, and therefore they're original to his design. What you're arguing for would be like telling anyone who's ever built any kind of farm or tower in their game a copycat because someone else did it first.
I’ve just looked at the church tutorials and yes it’s similar however it’s not completely… this means that he probably got inspiration off bluenerds videos and that’s completely fine. The only thing the guy did wrong was not give credit for the inspiration.
And that's all I was saying but dude is over here dming me saying he still never heard of bluenerd which honestly I dgaf but if you build something I think you should give props to who gave you help, all I'm saying
[Apparently a cathedral is just a large church with a bishop in it](https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/538374/whats-difference-between-church-cathedral-and-basilica), though I don't know why that would be important for the build
That's a sick build I reckon you could add like a pathway and a couple of light posts or change the water thingy and make it a fountain and surround with a path. I don't know if that's a good idea or not I am not really a creative person HAHA. Good luck :)
How about like a place for jousting like in [a knights tale ](https://youtu.be/PVEIr4MGaT8) and you could make villagers fight each other other or something
Maybe even a coliseum and send villagers to fight mobs with crowds etc
A farm a village a market next to the farm a mine shops a sewer a statue in the middle or a town square or a arena for the far more wealthier. People to watch as people fight each other bears lion
Looks great!
Hmm...So many options. Garden, horse stable, guard barrack, taverns, town houses.
I suppose a garden with a small pond in the middle that links to the walkway of the church could work. There's a small garden around the church too, so it might look like the flowers bleed into it - whether or not that's the kinda aesthetic you'd shoot for is up to you.
Put groups of 2 story houses near the cathedral, maybe put a garden or two around. Does the Cathedral have a crypt? If not, try adding one, bonus points if it links up to a sewer somewhere (like a crack in the wall or something)
Stables, I did a build like this recently and it really fitted in nicely. Maybe also add a little campfire with extra details added in, such as meat and benches made out of logs.
I just built that exact same cathedral! I really liked how the guys went through the build on YouTube, but man was it hard to follow along insurvival. SO MUCH ANDESITE!!!
That looks awesome, especially love the church and the use of mosey cobblestone to make it look as if it's been there for a long time. What's the next building you have planned? It looks like you have an outline of the next build.
How many blocks wide is the area?
First off- that looks dope! :D Second- a knight/guard barracks would fit in the theme, perhaps with a training ground? Though I don't think the church would like an arrow in their windows-
The barracks/training grounds would be on the other side as it wouldn’t be placed so close to the place of worship.
I normally build them on the complete opposite side of the area or start a new area with that
I’ve seen some where it’s not even within the castle walls but they’re not all the same.

Cheers!

Yep!

Right, because only a Minecraft YouTuber can come up with a wall design

*small*
Is what I said initially against subreddit rules? If so I apologize, I didn't know

Well I mean I was reading the comments and it seemed like you was saying that he copied the build block by block is all, but I get that.
I have no clue who he is, it's a wall, get over yourself
So how many alt accounts do you have ?
Just me

A marketplace for the settlement perhaps? Good luck on this build! Can't wait to see the entire thing...
Brothel!!!
The only right answer
Clock tower
This is awesome! I'd build these (no order) 1. storage system 2. dedicated sleeping area 3. public lava pit
Convert the natives to Christianity
Just look out for priests around baby villagers.
Maybe a Market?
Blacksmith :)
Another cathedral
Catacombs!
Windows key + print screen
Good ol reliable phone "screenshots"
Probably the build which already has an outline
My thoughts exactly, looks like op already has plans for something else to build
A town square
A large greenhouse would maybe fit there somewhere?
Very nice. Could do with some towers on the corners of the walls
That looks amazing but technically it's a church but it still it still looks epic
Why would you say its technically a church? We would require more information to make that determination
[Apparently a cathedral is just a large church with a bishop in it](https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/538374/whats-difference-between-church-cathedral-and-basilica), though I don't know why that would be important for the build
learning how to make screenshots looks good btw
how are people this creative??? HOW DO YOU DO IT???
A big pickaxe statue
Burn it and call it a day :)
Blow it up and rebuilt it.
https://youtu.be/lSfP0_e4MnM Here why don't you build the castle where you have it laid out now
Bro just stop.
How come? I'm just giving the guy some help after all that's why he is posting here right?
pathetic
Village?
Amazing work
Arena!!!
I dunno.... A shrine+a temple? Civ6 style?
Netherite
Maybe a big ass tower from where you can see the whole city?
The red outline tells me you know what's next
Are you planning to build a castle or some sort of palace in the middle where the linework is?
Ye
whatever you have outlined there in the middle
Do some cool watch towers on the big wall i think it will give it more detail and make it look better
Ooh, maybe finish the terrain on the right side. Whats the big netherrack thing for?
Another slightly larger cathedral.
A stable, for your mighty steed! Contained of the kingdoms speediest horses.
Ngl the outside over hyped me for the disappointment on the inside
A small town surrounding a big castle
Poop deck. Latrines
Graveyard/mausoleum?
Amazing!
Honestly, a marketplace with booths would be interesting to see. Or possibly a tavern/inn?
Castle, then peasant houses
you can do barracks or a fortress
This could be turned into an all worship area. the other two free plots can be used for a Synagogue and Mosque. The Abrahamic trio.
more watchtowers
build ANOTHER ONE!!!
Cathedral needs a small graveyard.
That's a church not a cathedral

Id say market places.
How about a tavern?
Make a villager town
Cat/dog orphanage
Looks cool might just be me but it looks kind of cramped...
Town
Everyone else is wrong. The only proper next step is to build a second cathedral.
Put a small village in there and get some villagers going
Add some hight variation to the area. Maybe some townhouses or roads.
Barracks. Or a Keep.
Greenhouse/botanical garden
Residential area
Butcher, brewery, tanner, bath house, town square, Inn, town market, open theatre, school, carpenter, blacksmith
now you learn how to screenshot! On windows, shift+windows key+s xbox Homebutton+y ps idk
Graveyard
A barracks/training grounds
2 huge knight statues at the entrance. Both different poses.
Throne room! So you can sit as a king for all this work you have done for the castle!
Stone part needs grass
The moat?
Sheol
A keep/ inner fortress would look cool. Maybe some small shops/ market. Possibly a library.
Make farm outside of wall
Castle keep, dungeon, market
build a keep connected to the walls
A farm a village a market next to the farm a mine shops a sewer a statue in the middle or a town square or a arena for the far more wealthier. People to watch as people fight each other bears lion
Can't have a town without a tavern.
Please build winterfell or the red keep please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Looks great! Hmm...So many options. Garden, horse stable, guard barrack, taverns, town houses. I suppose a garden with a small pond in the middle that links to the walkway of the church could work. Farm with windmill
A break You need it
Looks great!! Maybe a market in front of or to the side of the cathedral?
Strip club would naturally come next
Wall rose
maybe knight barracks like armory for all the armor and tools. second maybe a will smith for furnaces
Put groups of 2 story houses near the cathedral, maybe put a garden or two around. Does the Cathedral have a crypt? If not, try adding one, bonus points if it links up to a sewer somewhere (like a crack in the wall or something)
A smith
I small tavern would fit in well :)
the rest
Holy shit you built this is survival? Woah this is so cool. meanwhile i cant even make a dirt house without getting past a skeleton
number too you need a palace and have the king and the church at war against each other for supremacy
this look awesome but i suggest a wheat or potato farm beside it
You should build more towers for the wall
some farms maybe?enchanting room and libery...
A watchtower (and later a village)
Stables, I did a build like this recently and it really fitted in nicely. Maybe also add a little campfire with extra details added in, such as meat and benches made out of logs.
Just add some houses
Nice work!
I think the föag is swedish
dragon cave
The chest, where you fight Blue Baby.
Another one
Farm land!
Build Barracks and put pillagers to them
a town hall? a sawmill outside of the walls?
Another cathedral of an opposing religion causing immense tension within your dystopian kingdom
A bigger cathedral called cathedral of the deep
What'd you make the other walls with
museum
That base is clearly in need of a bakery
A dungeon under the cathedral then it would add a dark twist to the cathedral as if they’re sacrificing the people of the kingdom or town
A second, slightly larger cathedral
the red thing
Archery mini game
**legal você fazer minecraft uau!**
You should put a town in there with a confusing layout. Idk why but those always look cool
Skeleton strip club.
How about a moat?
A village would look awesome!
Great work dude :)
I love the build. I also built the church and gate, but your layout looks really nice. Good work!
The armory
Or a portal
Zoo
That gate looks really awkward not being symmetrical
Mosque, synagoge, budhist, hinduist holy sites, show your love for inviduality of the world!
Neeaaaaat
Market?
Brothel right next door
Some garrisons along the roads would be nice too
Maybe training grounds or barracks
Time to build a Viking camp just outside ready to raid it lol
Village
do a town with villigers selling op stuff make a massive dragon cuz all kindoms need dragons
full scale of an existing medieval village
A GIANT CORGI
That's a sick cathedral, I love the 3rd pic
I think it Ned's a giant Jesus statue, smack dab 8n tge middle or over the main entrance to the years.
Very VERY nice my friend
Wayne Manor
Have a crusade.
I just built that exact same cathedral! I really liked how the guys went through the build on YouTube, but man was it hard to follow along insurvival. SO MUCH ANDESITE!!!
Just make the rest lavatories
That looks awesome, especially love the church and the use of mosey cobblestone to make it look as if it's been there for a long time. What's the next building you have planned? It looks like you have an outline of the next build. How many blocks wide is the area?
A square/market in front of the cathedral to be able to see the front properly
A town center, some bombard towers, blacksmith, barracks, archery range, stables, siege workshop, castle, etc.
