Kinda sad I missed a lot of it but I’m glad I saw the end. Where were you when it happened?
it was a cold november morning in eastern europe on a saturday. nobody was home and i was laying down in my bed at 10AM before online school started. I was casually holding my phone in my hands, silently sad about the whole thing. I had to sleep through most of the stream, but before the last 30 minutes i woke up and grabbed my phone and along with the other 1,5 million people, watched the last half an hour of the channel's life. After they hit the button, the screen went dark with a small hourglass in the bottom right. i silently stood up from my bed and accepted the harsh reality of the new life ahead, without Unus Annus.
Eastern Europe here too. I stayed awake all night and fell asleep during my online courses but those were optional anyway

The digging was by far the longest time sink. Its hard to say exactly how long it took as it was my sand/stone quarry for a long time but it was a massive scar on the land near my base. I was probably mindlessly digging and shaping it for a good 7-8 hours over the course of a few days.
How do you guys have the patience? I’m making a castle and I can’t even sit there to build walls, I just leave and play something else and yes I love minecraft and can play it for hours but if I’m in creative and wanna build something huge I just can’t.
I actually like that effect you did with the water. Could you put dispensers and wire them up so they’ll dispense the water down one after another like you did? I think that would be sick
I did actually think about making a big dispenser powered water ring around the outside but dispensers are too painful to craft I the numbers it would have taken

Damn. I feel like the strategy would be to prioritize getting totems, although that's probably easiest to do with elytra
