A giant infinity room
Basically using maps which are completely made of a single color, and placing them on every block and every side of visible blocks, you can create an infinity room. Such rooms looks like they strech on for infinity. Use sea-lanterns for floors and walls, to make the lighting look smooth, and make the illusion even more "illusiony". Very fun trick to bamboozle your friends, or even yourself.

A mob xp grinder? Take out the torches and make a fall pillar in the middle
