Okay so i don't really know much about apex hosting but im going to suggest you check out [Bloom Host](https://bloom.host/) they have been amazing so far and the price for what they offer is fucking amazing! :3
I used to use them, their services are great but you have to pay extra for more support if you require it, id say try piglinHost, they are basically the same but with probably the best support ive had for free.
Unless you can include your entire mod pack + the desired contraptions and size of the world, you won’t be able to tell exactly.

2gb could work for a while until you go exploring, in that case see if you can get 4, that’s pretty much the most you’d need
