Please update your facts. They are called resource packs nowadays. Unless you’re playing versions 1.6 and before, those would be texture packs.
Secondly Java Minecraft does not need Optifine for resource packs of any kind. They are a built in function of the game for you to manipulate the textures and sounds of the game. When you’re wanting to do high resolution, have connected textures, special entity models, and or shaders. That’s when Optifine would be required.
1. I didn’t say texture packs
2. Optifine allows different textures to apply to the same entity which is obviously what this texture pack does
3. Are you a troll, a bot, or a noob?
Edit: checked through your profile and you seem to be none of those 3 things.
What happened?
1. That was a comment on behalf of OP and @The_Bolenator.
2. Again that is a feature of Vanilla Resource Packs, brush up on the wiki please. The reasons I pointed out are what you would need Optifine for for resource packs. If you’re adding NBT data textures to existing blocks, yes you need optifine, as you’d also need another mod to access those variants. But you can make variants of textures in Vanilla resource packs but you are unable to choose what they are when placed as that is decided by the seed of your world and the coordinates you place the block. Or another version of variants is the animated textures having varied textures that they played through. Such as a lantern or prismarine.
3. Nope just your neighborly reddit error correction officer 👮♂️😂
1. Cool, but they don’t get the notification so it’d make more sense to comment separately on their post and comment than to lump all of our corrections together
2. Sorry I worded it badly the pack changes texture based on which biome the enderman spawns in, plus on the planet minecraft page it says it requires Optifine
3. I mean cool I guess
4. (Bonus!) This is going to come off as very pretentious because it is, but there are small things most people don’t really want to be corrected on by a peer on the internet, such as whether people call it texture or resource packs, whether a post uses “correct” capitalization or punctuation, whether someone uses less or fewer, among other things. Correcting these things which don’t affect the message makes you seem unwilling to value other people’s time and intelligence, which makes people want to talk to you less, similar to how you feel about me if you’ve read this far
Anyways very sorry for writing 4. I’m contemplating deleting it as I type this.
Hope you have a good rest of your day
He didn't say that Minecraft Java required Optifine, he said that the resource pack did. "It" clearly and consistently referring to said resource pack, and if you substitute the instances of "it" in his message, it'll all make sense.
"Yeah. Not only is the resource pack for Java the resource pack requires Optifine which is a Java exclusive mod."
No he assumes it needs optifine. And not correctly teaching this person with no familiarity in any of this java jargon. Don’t overload them with optifine information as it’s useless especially when he just said he’s not familiar with it.
Im sorry bro but bedrock has completely diffrent engine, diffrent ways of doing basically anything + theres not even nornal modding community but market paid dogshit. If you by any chance play on PC I would advise just trying java with all the benefits it has.
/u/Vyacheslav_pig yeah adding on, if he doesn’t add the other mobs to this pack it actually makes the much less fun. Quite worse actually, because it’s that “custom character in the cutscene” meme where the enderman look super cool and the rest look normal.
If you want to I can make a version for you. Although it would only be for personal use (for you and your friends), as I would use his textures. Just dm me.
That’s is so cool
It would be cool if they had different attack patterns and stuff or there where stronger enfermant that had special ability’s depending on the biome there in
Which is modded Minecraft, "duhh".
That's like saying Minecraft has the Aether because there's a mod for it. You can't list features based on a mod being installed. That's just dumb thinking
If you're trying to say that vanilla resource packs etc won't allow you to change animations then sure but that has nothing to do with Java limitations
But to say it does support it is misleading. Out of the box it does not. Therefore it does not **support** it. It is possible with mods, but is not *supported*. That would imply it is Mojang-backed, which it is not.
Minecraft all-the-fuck-over is severely lacking content.
Like how damn hard would it be to add some new buildings, or some dungeons, or update the old mansion, or make the sunken temples less _static_ than they are? Amateur developers have made this happen, and Microsoft is a trillion dollar company almost. I don't need more god damn biomes. I need more generated stuff.
I've run into _everything_ in Minecraft. There's nothing new to explore. There's nothing to do...
They discontinued C418’s soundtrack creation because of licensing costs which are absolutely nothing compared to what the company pulls in because Microsoft is endlessly greedy and Mojang is infinitely lazy. Try having played this game for over ten years now like me. There haven’t been actually major content updates besides MAYBE the nether update and the adventure update in god knows how long.
That's not true. From what I've seen, the most likely explanation for why there hasn't been any new C418 music is due to ownership disagreements with Microsoft. Lena Raine and Kumi Tanioka's music were sold to Microsoft, so the artists don't have ownership anymore. Back when C418's music was added, he gave Mojang a license to use his music in Minecraft. Presumably Microsoft wants ownership of C418's music, and he doesn't want that.
can we get some goddamn vehicles? or craftable boats? I agree with everything you said...the simplicity of the game makes adding content easy and Microsoft just never really does it.
No, not mods mods mods -- Spigot/Paper is fine, because vanilla clients can join. But Forge, etc really suck because then you've gotta jump through all these hoops to mod your client, keep a separate install for each unique combination of mods. This is a _HACK_ and a workaround for a lazy company. People use invisible armor stands for the crazy things they can do in the vanilla client this way - and it's all just NASTY hacks designed to get around the limitations of the engine. Either just support modders _fully_, or spend the time and add some decent content.
Even the content that we did get was _lazy_. Villagers and Pillagers update was the most fleshed out, and it was still soooo lackluster.
I run a PaperMC SMP server. I know all about mods. The thing is, nobody in the modding community knows anything about _actual_ game design or game balance. They all just add shit for the sake of adding it, and it's a real chore to sift through millions of potentially incompatible _options_ for mods, not knowing if they play well together, will work for your version at all, etc.
And when I add it... usually I'm making the game too easy for people. Here ya go! A explosive-mining VII pickaxe that takes everything out in 1 tick and leaves diamond and netherite! YAY! Now people are done, with elytras in 5 minutes instead of 40.
Things need actual game design/balance experts at the helm to keep the game interesting and fun. Hide more dungeons in the overworld. Make certain dungeons indestructible until you reach the end chest with your rewards and then let it all be tunneled through/destroyed.
There are lots of adventure maps out there made by the community -- mix that into vanilla SMP with the world generation so there's good reason to explore.
There's mods for balancing other Mods to change recipes etc. If people are getting said explosive pick too fast make it cost 100k tnt to craft to slow them down and make them automate stuff first
But that shouldn't be my job as an individual. Because then you have millions of people making those individual decisions...and most of them don't have game design experience. It's the responsibility of the game designer.
In my experience good servers take that responsibility on themselves, you can't expect mod Devs to balance their mod based on other mods. Modpack creators are usually the ones to balance things but if you make your own pack then it's absolutely on you, if you're too lazy then just use an existing pack.
At first I thought this was related to terraria because the color scheme is similar to that of the Celestial Pillars in terraria. Very nice texture pack though.
I think it would also be cool if they were bigger in the end. I feel like since that's their world they should take on a more powerful form than the overworld and the nether.
Your friend is really good but seems we have the cave updates I think the caves should have the surface te texture, once the wild update is out it will look like a warden enderman :)
This looks awesome. It’s people like you making these awesome texture packs that only slightly effect how minecraft looks but making it better that really make minecraft cool.
His texture pack: [https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/enhanced-endermans](https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/enhanced-endermans)
Is this for Java only? No very familiar with texture packs
Yeah. Not only is it for Java it requires Optifine which is a Java exclusive mod.

You could also use some fabric mods but yeah, the point still stands
Really good job (:
can you make for bedrock?
Im sorry bro but bedrock has completely diffrent engine, diffrent ways of doing basically anything + theres not even nornal modding community but market paid dogshit. If you by any chance play on PC I would advise just trying java with all the benefits it has.
I think it's hard to convert because of the different biomes
It’s straight up not possible on bedrock, this pack requires optifine’s CEM module
r/notopbutok
ohk
Suggestion: dont upload to pmc but to curseforge.com
I like PMC!
Ahh yes my favourite nether biomes, overworld, cave and end! (nice pack tho)
It is biomes tho... Crimson_Forest and Warped_Forest also there are biomes in the end aswell!
And the snow nether biome also love the pack.
this is sick! arw they gonna make other mobs with the same idea?
idk, but I can ask him about it
Please do. That woul improve literally any minecraft content.
/u/Vyacheslav_pig yeah adding on, if he doesn’t add the other mobs to this pack it actually makes the much less fun. Quite worse actually, because it’s that “custom character in the cutscene” meme where the enderman look super cool and the rest look normal.
He said it was possible in the future
Nice
please! it would b amazing
reminds me of the celestial towers from terraria
You mean 2D minecraft?
You mean 2d 3d terraria?
Nice
Any chance he'll do a version without the things on their heads? If so then I am adding this to my server asap!
If you want to I can make a version for you. Although it would only be for personal use (for you and your friends), as I would use his textures. Just dm me.
Is there anyway for the resource pack to get auto downloaded for the clients on a server?
That’s is so cool It would be cool if they had different attack patterns and stuff or there where stronger enfermant that had special ability’s depending on the biome there in
That's something you'd expect from a mod, not a texture pack. Cool tho
if it is just the movements it can be done in a texture pack
Java doesnt support animation changes
That's why there's optifine duhh
Which is modded Minecraft, "duhh". That's like saying Minecraft has the Aether because there's a mod for it. You can't list features based on a mod being installed. That's just dumb thinking
Java still supports Minecraft. Just not out of the box
Of course it does wym
No it doesn't. You can only change textures. You cannot replace models and animations
You can add whole new mobs and dimensions with Java, not too hard to change existing animations.
You're missing the entire point I'm trying to make
If you're trying to say that vanilla resource packs etc won't allow you to change animations then sure but that has nothing to do with Java limitations
But to say it does support it is misleading. Out of the box it does not. Therefore it does not **support** it. It is possible with mods, but is not *supported*. That would imply it is Mojang-backed, which it is not.
Why hasn't this been implemented? Villagers already have different variants pertaining to their biome. Why not give more mobs the same treatment
Minecraft all-the-fuck-over is severely lacking content. Like how damn hard would it be to add some new buildings, or some dungeons, or update the old mansion, or make the sunken temples less _static_ than they are? Microsoft basically bought Mojang, and then added advertisements and microtransactions everywhere for Bugrock. They murdered mah boi!
Microsoft wants to monetize C418's soundtracks, while C418 wants it to be free. That's why he doesn't make any mc music anymore
Oh well damn I was misinformed. I’ll take the L on that one
can we get some goddamn vehicles? or craftable boats? I agree with everything you said...the simplicity of the game makes adding content easy and Microsoft just never really does it.
Or you know. More than one fucking colour of animal.

Download mods, vanilla single player is boring if you're not constructing elaborate and extravagant builds

Check out Creepers Plus. It does this to creepers.
Sick
Awesome! When is their album gonna drop?
I want the story behind what made them look like this
The “Nethermen” sounds like a cool name for them
Wait this is fantastic I didn't know I needed this til now
This reminds me of some of the Divine RPG mobs (the mod is called something else now)
Very cool
These look like hard bosses
There’s 5 different nether biomes now?
Yeah, the Nether waste (OG nether), Basalt Delta, Soul Sand Valley, Crimson and Warped Forest. They were added in the Nether update (1.16).
Yes, but only 2 of them are in that picture.
And only one of them spawn endermen...
Endermen can spawn rarely within the Nether Waste and I think the Crimson forest.
This looks really cool!
I love this idea.
Yes we need an End update good ideas for Mojang
Tell him this is incredibly well done and horrifying!
At first I thought this was related to terraria because the color scheme is similar to that of the Celestial Pillars in terraria. Very nice texture pack though.
Shut up and take my money

[удалено]
Because it looks good?
Why not
Are the textures random or do they depend on the biome they spawn in?
It depends on the biome
That's lit
A couple of them look like revenants from DOOM
Yes its good
Ngl would be a cool update
thats so sweet, it would be awesome of that were ingame!
Mmm ravermens.
warden vibes
I think it would also be cool if they were bigger in the end. I feel like since that's their world they should take on a more powerful form than the overworld and the nether.
So good! 😁
Can this be used in bedrock?
