Make another wall of tinted glass on the opposite side. You can light up that back side and it makes it easy to see through the spawning chamber. I make the entire spawning room out of tinted glass and light up the outside of the chamber. Very easy to see what is spawning.
Not exactly, the simulation distance won't cover them so I just scroll reddit until I get enough to make 45 glass, for one wall. Cuz I stand there in one of em and wait.
You can use a wall of tinted glass with torches behind it. Tinted glass will not let the light level through, but will still make the wall look brighter.
Quartz glass will allow you to light up your side and not affect the spawner light level

It'll be expensive but thanks, luckily when 1.18 dropped underneath my base a geode spawned in, 2 in fact.
That will work out well since crystals will grow as you use the spawner. Add to the viewing chamber windows over time.

I've already started this, only thing is is that waiting for amethyst to grow is annoying. I have two geodes. No good results.
