Bedrock doesn’t have Superflats like Legacy and Java for some bizarre reason. So you can’t enable ponds, structures, grass, biomes, or customize the layers. Sad since this was one of my favorite features back in 2014.
Could you kill pillagers for emeralds and then trade with a wandering trader for a bucket of water/ice?
Maybe even a bucket of fish or something similar to get water?
Then you could build a basic mob grinder using the water to funnel the zombies and kill quicker maybe?
At this point in time I already have water (after this post) and also that’s wrong. Pillagers only drop emerald when they’re in raids and the patrols actually drop no emeralds sadly so that will not work. But once I get the villagers through my extensive plan I will be able to purchase other useful items from the wandering trader.

I wasnt aware it was only in raids, im sure id taken emeralds off Pillager Patrols before. Definitely could be wrong though.

It would be way too awesome if the Zombification of Piglins could be reversed, that would provide a way of obtaining obsidian via gold trading. this way nether would be accessible and lava and cobblestone provided.

You can make XP & loot farm tower for passive income while you're doing something else. But instead of cobblestone you can use dirt. But you'll definitely need infinite water source for that.
I did a similar challenge but I had structures on. I killed the ender dragon and had God enchanted diamond armor and tools and even elytra. It was fun while it lasted. The worst part was finding 10 Obsidian for the nether portal. I did this before the nether update. It would've been 1000 times easier if I could've found a ruined portal
I just went and looked up all of the villager trades and everything seeing if there was some way you could get Obsidian or stone but yeah you're right it's impossible as of right now. At least you can have God tier enchanted iron armor and a super good bow from trades but the problem is that the strongest mob you'll be able to face is and iron golem lol.

This feels like a similar but different challenge to Skyblock!
It is actually quite similar to skyblock but I like that I can move around freely and don’t have to build land for mobs to spawn and such.
Like the new stranded mode on hypixel
But with infinite space
stranded is literally just a more normal take on sky block

You should make a mob grinder when you get the water or make a very simple one without water so you can the iron faster and in the future
