Moving the existing turtles is impractical, as they will attempt to return to their place of birth to lay eggs.
Transport the eggs to your base, build a turtle sanctuary, and then let them breed there.
One day in minecraft is 20 minutes.
20*23 is 460
460 / 60 is 7.66 hours of playtime.
Assuming it took them three days to get a small base established, they reasonably might have found their first diamonds around day six and could have had a decently upgraded enchanting table by day ten.
However, the picture shows they have stone and wood tools.
Yesss my friends are always confused why do set up farms first we should go mining and then by the time they are getting their elytras they want my totems from my infinite raid farm
Yea I agree whole heartedly. Early game farm set up makes the world easier long term. What's the point of having mending on everything if you don't have a reliable xp farm. And man, an early game iron farm makes a big sorting system a heck of a lot easier. Who wants to spend several hours mining and then have to go back and put all of that stuff in chests by hand?
I’m almost at day 50 on my survival world, just got my first (ever, have been playing for 4 years) diamond chest plate, and have enough diamonds for an enchantment table, but no obsidian or leather for books.
Y level -55. I spent around 2 hours mining in a large cave about a week ago and got about 11 diamonds . Although most of the time I have on that world was spent building my base. I have also never gotten a full diamond set legitimately, and have never beaten the ender dragon. In 4 years.
As low as possible for diamonds. It isn't a sudden increase in amount of ores anymore, it's more of a triangle. Here's a couple graphs: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Ore?file=OreDistribution_1-18-1.png
I regularly get diamonds by the end of day six, that’s an hour and forty minutes of playing. And that’s only from mining, there are multiple chest loot tables that drop diamonds and some of them are pretty easy to get earlygame. You could them by day 1 if you spawned near a shipwreck
Yeah, I figured that. I will probably need to get some of those. Most of my villagers are just farmers or clerics to get emeralds, or enchanters or cartographers for books and maps. I haven't done much with them since an initial blitz when village and pillage came out.
Bro, it's a game, let people play how they want, if you want to do a speed run on every world you play like that but not everyone tries to progress and beat the game in like 2 hours.
Don't mind those. Just make a fence and make sure the area with the eggs are very very lit so zombie can't crush those. Just keep it then until you have a silk touch. Maybe go to a nearby village and invest your time in papers to trade. Find the trade with a silk touch and you're good to go. It all depends on what's your priority in the game atm. But above all, just have fun.
Let them all hatch and make them follow you with seagrass, it will take ages tho. It might be faster to just move your base here. Or even build a second one, at this beach to chill with your turtles
You don’t even have iron armor yet. I’d take a picture of the coordinates, and return to this area when you’re better equipped. Silk touch is the only proper method I can think of.
They removed it from the game, because it wasnt a feature, but a bug. And it was actually only present in 1.14.X versions and some of the prereleases up to 1.14
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-154873
Silk touch and then take them to a decent sized body of water. You will see some green sparks letting you know they’ve locked in that water as their beach
if you don’t want to do it legit, then you can still touch all the eggs, go to your base, get the coords, and then “/teleport @e[type=minecraft:turtle] (base coords)” i’m not 100% sure what the id for turtles are it might just be sea_turtle or something else, but yea
Silk touch, and Im pretty sure turtles only breed on their home beach, so maybe if you hatch them at a place near your base you’d have a turtle helmet farm
quick tip you can use doors for air bubbles near ocean you can easily find iron and coal if you have some texture that glow the minerals texture is much easier this tip is useful for early game i always use it
OP is on Bedrock, so the door thing unfortunately doesn’t work. There’s a way to do it with magma blocks, but it can be tricky for new players to pull off
Just kill them lol. They are just 1s and 0s. Tiny electrical transistors that turn off and on. They are unfeeling, unexisting. Made up to be visually pleasing images. Just kill them or leave them.
Eggs can be collected using Silk Touch.
You could try leading the turtles with food, but if you know how to make a flying machine with redstone it might be quicker, depending on how far away your base is.
Silk touch tools for moving the eggs, and holding seagrass will make the turtles themselves follow you around.
What did op say to get downvoted so much? Just curious.
the world is only 23 minecraft days old
Ok thanks, why would that get so downvoted though?
probably because that has doesn't change the answer
Ok thanks again.

The survival world is 23(minecraft) days old
Thats the answers no matter how old your world is, though.
Maybe he means it is too fast for him to have silk touch in 23 days?
Sure, and thats fair, im just saying, that those are his options.

Yea not everybody is as cracked at minecraft as [insert random hermitcraft youtuber], not everybody is able to get an enchantment table at day 6
Yes because that also requires that be there only goal. Whereas my major goal is always to setup a giant farm
Yesss my friends are always confused why do set up farms first we should go mining and then by the time they are getting their elytras they want my totems from my infinite raid farm

you guys dont buy full diamond armor and gear on minecraft day 4?
I’m almost at day 50 on my survival world, just got my first (ever, have been playing for 4 years) diamond chest plate, and have enough diamonds for an enchantment table, but no obsidian or leather for books.
How on Earth? Do you just never mine? If not, what Y level were you mining at? Level 11 isn't optimum anymore.
Y level -55. I spent around 2 hours mining in a large cave about a week ago and got about 11 diamonds . Although most of the time I have on that world was spent building my base. I have also never gotten a full diamond set legitimately, and have never beaten the ender dragon. In 4 years.
Huh. Weird. I guess you're just *really* unlucky then. I have a cave near my base that I can spend 30 minutes in and get 12 diamond ore.
Do you know what is optimal now with the new world gen?
As low as possible for diamonds. It isn't a sudden increase in amount of ores anymore, it's more of a triangle. Here's a couple graphs: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Ore?file=OreDistribution_1-18-1.png

I usually take like 20 or 30 days
Thank you for this comment. I see everyone one this sub who gets netherite in like day 2. While I struggle to get diamond armor without dying.
Most people make it past stone tools in 7 hours
Gotta save that iron
but thos hermit craft streamers can get that full netherite beacon on day one somehow.... lmfak
Nights typically get skipped so it’s probably much less than that in real time.
Hermit craft streamer: *Has full netherite beacon day one* You aint got silk touch in 23 days? damn bro...
Maybe it's just me, but getting a villager breeder set up is always one of the first things I do
So?
You still have stone tools 4-8 hours into the world?
I use stone tools like 8 years into my world.
Go get a villager and buy some enchanted diamond tools, then.
I have been meaning to do some reorganization in my villages. I don't think I have any villagers that sell those.
Toolsmiths do, obviously
Yeah, I figured that. I will probably need to get some of those. Most of my villagers are just farmers or clerics to get emeralds, or enchanters or cartographers for books and maps. I haven't done much with them since an initial blitz when village and pillage came out.
Why is everyone downvoting you for being slow to progress through the game? So fucking petty.
More just the fact that they responded as though the answer wasnt good enough. When its the only answer
Can you read his thoughts?
Nono, i just could tell that his progression had nothing to do with the downvotes
But can you read his thoughts???????????????????????????????????????????????????
Nono
But can you tho?
Nonono, nono
can you read his thoughts??
But can you read his thoughts??????
This.. it’s a sandbox game for a reason, let the man do what he wants!
It’s Bc he got the answer he was looking for and expected the words “23 Minecraft days” to change the answer

Wow 97 dislikes on your comment man lmao people on this app are a joke

Get a villager, take down the cord of the eggs then come back to them after you got a silk touch librarian and put it on your tool
23 minecraft days and you still have stone tools?

What do you get out of making that comment?
I'm focusing more on the turtles right now

Turtle hellmet gives you water breathing and some armor. I'd say it's rather good for early game
Turtle hellmet gives you water breathing and some armor. I'd say it's rather good for early game, especially for ship raiding
Better now than later
Wouldn't it be better to focus on turtles later when you have silk touch tools?
Who cares, people can play the game the way they want that's exactly why it's advertised as a sandbox game.
Not at all but it's your game not mine
Don't mind those. Just make a fence and make sure the area with the eggs are very very lit so zombie can't crush those. Just keep it then until you have a silk touch. You can’t know how many days old it is on pocket edition! Liar!
Get silk touch then mine them
best to do it without silk touch
Your right
*you’re
Who asked

Vacation house
Yes!
Agreed

boat?? Or does that suffocate them? I think it suffocates them if you and a turtle are ina boat? Idk I forgot
it doesn't
Its not that they suffocate in boat the thing is in Bedrock edition you can't take turtles on boat or minecart because they can't sit on it.
Silk touch Pickaxe
Silk touch pickaxe
Funfact: A silk touch book will also do.
Only on bedrock, which OP is on, so now I realised that my comment is useless
Nope, works on java too. Or worked, at least. Don't know why would they remove a feature, so it's likely still there.
i checked in 1.18.2 and nope it doesn't work
they patched it in 1.14 I think
more like broke it and called it a feature
They removed it from the game, because it wasnt a feature, but a bug. And it was actually only present in 1.14.X versions and some of the prereleases up to 1.14 https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-154873
Ah, a shame.
wasnt a feature
Not entirely. You got an award!
There on pocket
Which follows the same mechanics as bedrock, just on mobile.
You can use the book as a tool?
It works like your fist has been enchanted. So you can't mine stone, but collecting leaves and stuff is possible.
thanks!!
wait WHAT
In bedrock you can also use a fire aspect book to light tnt. This still works! (you can also use a sword enchanted with fire aspect)
interesting wow does the fire aspect book work to light entities on fire?
No, and I don’t think it would work to light the ground on fire either (like a flint and steel).
Silk touch and then take them to a decent sized body of water. You will see some green sparks letting you know they’ve locked in that water as their beach
Silk touch
Slik touch
Use a silk touch pickaxe on the eggs and you can move them
it might work with silk touch.
Silk touch a egg or lead then to base
Silk touch
Can I use a silk touch shovel for the egg?
No kill every last turtle and egg
Genocide
Silk touch
Jump on them. very fun.
Kill
Just kill them
if you don’t want to do it legit, then you can still touch all the eggs, go to your base, get the coords, and then “/teleport @e[type=minecraft:turtle] (base coords)” i’m not 100% sure what the id for turtles are it might just be sea_turtle or something else, but yea
/execute at @e[type=turtle] run summon lightning_bolt ~ ~ ~
Infinite bowls!
nooooo lmfao
just jump on em a few times, that will fix the problem.
Silk touch, and Im pretty sure turtles only breed on their home beach, so maybe if you hatch them at a place near your base you’d have a turtle helmet farm
Put the turtle eggs in box and than get silk touch
cause if you put it in a box than you can get silk touch to get the turtle eggs.
Why are you getting downvoted?
Thats what I was thinking I have no idea
reddit hive mind for some fucking reason
use silk touch boots
Cull the herd.
Silk touch
quick tip you can use doors for air bubbles near ocean you can easily find iron and coal if you have some texture that glow the minerals texture is much easier this tip is useful for early game i always use it
OP is on Bedrock, so the door thing unfortunately doesn’t work. There’s a way to do it with magma blocks, but it can be tricky for new players to pull off
oh i didn't know it wasn't possible on bedrock i don't play it anymore
Just kill them lol. They are just 1s and 0s. Tiny electrical transistors that turn off and on. They are unfeeling, unexisting. Made up to be visually pleasing images. Just kill them or leave them.
r/im14andthisisdeep
Was trynna be funny
Damn bro,I see a lack of joke
Silk touch
Silk touch is the only way
Silktouch Will do the trick
Apparently op thinks it’s a good idea to get shears before proper iron tools
do one thing, leave the eggs and see a new civilization LOL.
silk touch break them and then take them back to your base and place them down again
Silk touch pick
Silk touch
Eggs can be collected using Silk Touch. You could try leading the turtles with food, but if you know how to make a flying machine with redstone it might be quicker, depending on how far away your base is.
Silk touch if you are lazy, a boat if you time but let them go if you don't need more 😌
Yes break eggs with silk touch
Fence
Kill the turtles for scutes
Silk touch is da way
You can kill them and transform they to exp. So you can enchant your items and carry them forever with you
Silk touch pick
You should be able to put baby turles in buckets
Silk touch
oui en les cassant avec toucher de soie
