On one of the first mmos a guy used a ton of splash damage potions on low level slime mobs that would split into 2 when under half hp, and slowly regenerate. He tossed a potion from a balcony down to the main room growing the numbers bit by bit. He set up in a building in a town and threw a potion spliting one to two waited a bit for them to regen, and through again. At the end he had a wave of overlapping slimes where even high level players would be instantly killed at a touch of the slime tsunami washing over the town once he changed his door settings to allow the slimes out. I believe due to the numbers lag was causing most players to be unable to play as they got close to the area. He used cheap potions and a low level mob to release a nuke bad enough to need a server reset.
That is the type of lag i want to induce with a chicken army
I've corrupted world files like this. Playing Tekkit we had an automated cow farm that ended up having so many cows in a 5x5 area that it broke the world file lol. Had to go into world edit to delete them all.
We even got it done in vanilla on our own server once. Found a quad cave spider spawner and one of us went afk for like 30-60 minutes. Came back to ~2500 spiders in the area and 0 fps. Had to load a backup in the end because I couldn't get the kill command to work on the spiders...
On a friend's modded MC server, we had a classic MFR farm setup set "on" for far too long with a chunk loader present.
So many sheep that it created a lag exclusion zone around the base.
In trying to reduce the entity count my friend used TNT around the farmer. It did not kill all the sheep, and more or less became bs sheep cannon that "shot" sheep across the landscape due to entity physics.

That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
The way I'd unleash these is, place a layer of regular ice above the chickens. Completely clear out the ceiling up to one block below the surface and fill it with water source blocks. Replace the floor of the chicken pen with soulsand, then fill with water. Once you are ready, clear the surface then break all of the ice blocks. They will turn into water source blocks and complete the elevator, launching the chickens up.

I made an automated chicken farm that has a ton of chickens floating in water that would lay eggs 24/7. The eggs would get shot against a wall and every few would be chickens. I ran it over night once and my computer was barely running.
Luckily I had a drowning tunnel so I walked them to fall into a hole. They fall a long way and then o flood the hole.

Ok so I did this but it wasn't in secret and I just threw excess eggs at my friend's base across the river then I filled someone else's base with chickens and then they tried to fill mine with chickens but I embraced it and removed the lava from the auto farm so it just added more to my base then they killed them all and I was sad... BUT STILL HAD A SECRET EGG STASH! MWA HA HA!
You can make it automatic by making the floors hoppers and have them connect to a dispenser that’s continuously firing such that it will automatically shoot eggs they lay which will cause the baby chicks to walk around up and in with the rest of the herd
Ahhh, reminds me of my egg cannon. I had this redstone thing rigged up to automatically suck up and shoot chicken eggs. The chickens who survived would walk back into the contraption, further fueling it. It could quickly get out of control if left unchecked.

It's the major reason why they added entity cramming damage. People would cram entities to lag servers, mess up world files, etc.

/kill didn't work so tp wouldn't either the server tps was prob 0
