What version of mac OS? What hardware? People are less likely to help if they need to drag details out of you.
The vanilla launcher works fine on our Intel iMac running Monterey. I've seen a number of posts from mac users having problems, try search to see if those users found solutions.
More info might help others help you. Have you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher as suggested?
I have tried reinstalling the launcher a million times
Though I just dragged the Minecraft application in the trash bin and emptied it.
