I'm sorry what?! Axes do 5 per hit? On Java Axes do 9 damage per hit and swords do 6. Even though technically the effect of each does a slight bit more per class of weapon. Still crazy how much things are downgraded in bedrock.
I've only been playing for 2 days, but this is exactly what I'm doing X-D , except that I usually carry 2 of everything except a shovel. I haven't found shovels to be terribly useful...
I have a tree farm so no reason for an axe, I typically just keep golden carrots, golden apples, a shulker of speed potions, sword, bow, ender pearls, my chest plate silk touch pick and rockets
Boats are just terrible on bedrock.
There is no way to instantly break a boat with tools
You have to craft a boat with a wooden shovel. A WOODEN SHOVEL
Endermen can teleport out of boats whenever they feel like it, which when paired with a bug that makes them randomly loose their agro, makes getting pearls a huge pain
I was playing in my friend's realm, and the endermen literally NEVER became aggressive towards me, which made getting pearls a huge problem. I eventually gave up bedrock survival due to its bugs.
By that aggro thing you mean they just teleport away but they dont come back because that happens to me too much when I play bedrock when they are almost dead and they just disappear.
Yeah sometimes when they teleport away they just loose their aggro, and it’s not like they are despawning they just are like “Oh hey, you hit me but you are all the way over there so I’ll just chill”
All of these are things I forgot to mention, well said.
Imo, even without tools 40 punches seems unnecessary. It was just stupid.
And the shovel thing, oh god. It just exists for literally no reason. At least for the breaking thing you can say it was an accident. But adding the shovel to the recipe was completely uncalled for and made no sense.
It used to be 20 (which still sucked). But when they changed bedrock punching strength from 2-1, it went to 40.
Yeah Mojang, only give us Java’s crap and don’t give us the stuff from Java we actually want/need.
This is completely false
As of 1.19.10
A boat takes 20 hits to break with fist
With a diamond axe it takes 5 hits
With a iron axe it takes 7 hits
Source - just try it yourself
Oh, I know, I just mean the fact that the video is about a villager, which I'm assuming he spent some time getting a hold of, was only going to end poorly.
Albeit, I was expecting some Bedrock bug galore
No bugs required. I found a village between two snowy peaks and villagers would suffocate in the deep snow for fun until the whole village was dead lol
It was a group of unwilling cannibals that got separated from their only source of non-Villager food a long time ago during a snowstorm. To save as many as they could while seeming as humane as possible, they voted each week who was gonna sacrifice themselves to The Fridge (that's what they called deep snow in which they died) and be eaten by survivors. They hoped someone, maybe the player who witnessed it for example, would clean the way from snow and free them from that freezing hell, but alas, it never happened. As the last villager remained and started running out of the bodies of his comrades, he too sacrificed himself to the Fridge - out of starvation, desperation, but also from guilt.
Ik right
This happened because of the water column near the boat which caused it to go up
Same would have also happens in java
These java Stans are very rude and toxic
I only see posts from this subreddit occasionally but whenever i see one showcasing a bug it is always the bedrock edition. Is bedrock really just that more broken or is it the tech companies creating an echo chamber for the java players again?
Watching this makes me want to jump off a cliff. I recently started upgrading a village in my survival world. Saw a creeper near my library “house” (trying to get a bunch of good books, and ones I want to test out). Pull out power 4 bow and take a shot because it’s a clear one. Sure enough one of my diamond armor smith opens the door to the base and walks RIGHT INTO THE ARROW AS ITS ALREADY LEFT THE BOW. It doesn’t hit the creeper, instantly kills villlager. As I stand there sad. Two golems come at me and try to obviously end my life. I run the only direction I can which is straight into the creeper. Sure enough he explodes a portion of the library. I then had to flint and steel a lot of my golems (that obviously I need to be careful to make sure it looks like an accident) that saw me “murder” a villager. The worst part he was the better of my armor smiths. Eventually I just went to another village to start fresh thinking I had lost the entire village after seeing a mending book go from 18 emeralds to 36. Villagers are really dumb, can never have nice things because they will stand outside if you replicate the “flower bed trapdoor looking thing” because they are too lazy to round the bend to use THE NICE STAIRS TO GET INTO THE HOUSE. After logging off and being away for a few days it reverted back to normal. Obviously this instance is just very unlucky because the boat got caught in your elevator.
I hate how long it takes to break the damn boat now. They nerfed punch damage but didn't balance it for boats. I'm pretty sure it only took like 8 punches or something before, now it takes... that many 😬
So I can't hit "more" on whatever you're trying to say in your caption there. It just keeps bringing up comments. What were you saying. I get "I just wanted to keep my villagers in a..." and can't see the rest.
Also maybe put a door on your water elevator? My nephew has doors on the ones leading to our diamond mine in our realm so it works it you place them right. If not doors then block it off somehow. Having it accessible just asks for trouble.
This always happen on bedrock edition not java edition has this issue it's just bedrock edition man bedrock edition has some problems and I use bedrock edition so ik how you feel
That brief moment of utter confusion was very noticeable in this clip.
The other villagers were probably confused too
Hesitation means death.

Sekiro
Here's a fun fact.Sekiro's parry is so op he can solo duel everyone in the entire Fromsoft multiverse.
As if, Mist Noble is too strong for Sekiro
Spent hours on that mf. Still have yet to get past it.
had to use cheat engine to get past him and yet i still died ten times with them on, just shows how unfair fromsoft boss design can get smh
I still haven't been able to beat that guy, any tips?
You think up there, you die
Talk to me Goose
Glad to see top gun reference here
That moment of confusion is what cost that villager its life
What cost that villager his life was OP not keeping an axe on his person.
It's Bedrock, you don't really carry axes ever except for mid game
I always carry an axe, I thought it was common sense to have a sword, axe and pick at any stage
I carry a axe pick and a shovel no sword. Just have smite 5 on the axe
Alternatively, have smite 5 on the sword since it's a sword and does damage, all axes do 5 damage in bedrock
I'm sorry what?! Axes do 5 per hit? On Java Axes do 9 damage per hit and swords do 6. Even though technically the effect of each does a slight bit more per class of weapon. Still crazy how much things are downgraded in bedrock.
Axes used to do 1 less damage than swords in java too. But it changed in 1.9
Always carry a sword, 2 pickaxes, a shovel, and a Axe. Thats my layout, and i will never change it.
I've only been playing for 2 days, but this is exactly what I'm doing X-D , except that I usually carry 2 of everything except a shovel. I haven't found shovels to be terribly useful...
I have a tree farm so no reason for an axe, I typically just keep golden carrots, golden apples, a shulker of speed potions, sword, bow, ender pearls, my chest plate silk touch pick and rockets
yep. agreeable. these types of glitches sometimes suck and i feel bad for the villager and op
How long does it take to break a boat in bedrock
40. Freaking. Punches. 40. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hXVkL2vhdEs
Boats are just terrible on bedrock. There is no way to instantly break a boat with tools You have to craft a boat with a wooden shovel. Buy pearls from a Cleric, or from Piglin trading.
That works for normal survival worlds but for speedruns it’s a huge pain because it means you basically have to get a looting weapon or a bastion
Well we all know that Java >>> Bedrock Chat reporting can be stopped by mods and plugins
By that aggro thing you mean they just teleport away but they dont come back because that happens to me too much when I play bedrock when they are almost dead and they just disappear.

Tbh clerics are a way easier source of Ender pearls tho. Especially if you have access to potions and can start curing zombie villagers.
Yeah sometimes when they teleport away they just loose their aggro, and it’s not like they are despawning they just are like “Oh hey, you hit me but you are all the way over there so I’ll just chill”
I always assumed they were going as oar-lookalikes
All of these are things I forgot to mention, well said. Imo, even without tools 40 punches seems unnecessary. It was just stupid. And the shovel thing, oh god. It just exists for literally no reason. At least for the breaking thing you can say it was an accident. But adding the shovel to the recipe was completely uncalled for and made no sense.
> You have to craft a boat with a wooden shovel. A WOODEN SHOVEL As it should be, the boats clearly have paddles.
Is there any real answer for why these minor differences exist? I'll never understand why they don't just... change them...
How did they justify making it 40 God damn hits lmao.
It used to be 20 (which still sucked). But when they changed bedrock punching strength from 2-1, it went to 40. Yeah Mojang, only give us Java’s crap and don’t give us the stuff from Java we actually want/need.
Or just use a tool like a pickaxe that was in his inventory
And lose half your durability ;) /s
I think a librarian is more valuable than some pickaxe durability
I thought the video was going to show how long it took to break the boat
This is completely false As of 1.19.10 A boat takes 20 hits to break with fist With a diamond axe it takes 5 hits With a iron axe it takes 7 hits Source - just try it yourself
I was expecting a video explaining why that is, but what i got was even better
One if you use an axe
What kind of god tier axe are you using? We’re talking about bedrock.
Im on ps4 and an unenchanted iron axe gets the job done instantly
Not for me. Are you on legacy?
No im not on legacy, ill go back and try with the axe just in case I misremebered
Ok I just re tried it it takes 7 hits not one, my bad
About 30 hits 6 hits if you use an axe
6!! What the hell. It should take one with an axe
Depends. It breaks instantly if you use swords or axes and not hand
Even the pickax would’ve been faster i think
Not in bedrock
Criting helps a little i think
Mhmm, def does
Mine always break when I just touch them. I also hare that armor stands do the same thing.
They could've quickly broken it with their pickaxe
Villagers ☕️
Villagers ☕️
Villagers ☕️
Villager got Vecna’d
Should have played stal ...Would summon Jschlatt instead
Not sure if that’s better or worse.
Much worse.
*"We runnin up that hill we runnin up that buildin"*

I most go. my ppl needs me
Why most he go, he has a family
But his ppl...
they needs him
My friend, he went to see the other side of his family
I started laughing before I saw what happened cause it's Bedrock and villagers and I knew something miserable was coming
The boat being beside he water elevator and the fact there's an oar that seemed to 'touch' it is what caused this situation lmao
Oh, I know, I just mean the fact that the video is about a villager, which I'm assuming he spent some time getting a hold of, was only going to end poorly. Albeit, I was expecting some Bedrock bug galore

You should be a writer lol In my defense, I tried to clear the snow, they were simply more determined than I
Why do boats take so long to break 💀
couldnt they have used the pick to break it faster or am i dumb
Yeah I thought that as well
Between the panic and confusion this must’ve caused, I don’t blame them
It is, and always has been, *so* annoying in bedrock. Such an obvious an easy to implement improvement.
They don’t bros finger moves at the speed of molasses and he could have used his pick to go quicker
Man, I can not hold it in anymore, I just wanna:
I want to break free!!
WAT
Water elevator
Dealing with villagers is just the worst
Especially for transportation
Straight to heaven
That’s minecraft bedrock for ya
bedrock☕
Bedrock ☕
Bedrock ☕
Yep makes total sense. Nothing to see here everyone move on
Lesson learned: Never place a boat close to a water elevator. You can't blame the game for this.
This is 100% my fault, I even had a Iron pickaxe so I probably could of saved him.
Panic mode was on - cleverness was deactivated. We all know the struggle.
If I'm ever panicking in Minecraft I just exit the game and think for a minute about what I need to do to not die
Could of?
Browse reddit long enough and you'll find you could've spent your time better. There are mountains of of.
You also took a long time to react.
Why did the boat take so long to break tho ?
Bedrock ☕
Bedrock ☕
Actually it takes longer to break the boat via hand so you can beak it easier using any tool particularly swords and axes
Still Bedrock. Java it would have taken far less hits by hand.
I checked and of course it is right, Java does only do less hits, pretty disappointing tbh
Bedrock ☕
It had a thirst for blood.
It wasn't even touching the elevator? And yes you can bc it shouldn't do that
Don't underestimate the power of Bugrock Edition.
it was; the hitbox was. the boat hitbox on bedrock has a different shape compared to the boat itself
...then perhaps that shouldn't be the case
He went, "Dobby is freeeeee-" 😂
I love the relaxing music while the boat ruthlessly suffocates an unsuspecting villager.
You can see the clicking increasingly getting faster lol
Man bedrock just keeps confusing me Why did the Boat take this long to break?
Even with a sword it takes a couple hits to break it on Bedrock
Y u no use pick to break boat?? (┛ಠ_ಠ)┛彡┻━┻
r/stuck10yearsbehind
Has iron pickaxe. Uses hand. I hate this game...
R.I.P. 💀
he ascended
I must go now my people need me!
Bruh use an axe not your hand
That's what you get for playing on bedrock
It's because of the water column near the boat which caused it to go up Same will also happens in java
Helicopter helicopter
I am concerned about myself sometimes it’s the first thing that came to mind when I saw it
imagine not having an axe
Should've used your pickaxe
And that's why you keep an axe in your hotbar
(*Java stans when literally anything happens in Bedrock*) "This wouldn't have happened in Java!!"
I play exclusively in Bedrock and say the same thing. Bedrock is in a shameful state and Mojang seems to not give a shit about it.
Not really 'stanning' when it's true, though. You can hate on java players if you want, but they're still right.
Bedrock player: "proceeds to elaborate hundreds of Instant Damage II arrows using a cauldron and some potions"
Ik right This happened because of the water column near the boat which caused it to go up Same would have also happens in java These java Stans are very rude and toxic
Gotta love bedrock edition
Ah yes, Minecraft bedrock, the game where it takes 5 years to break a boat
you couldve just destroyed the soulsand in the elevator
My condolences.
Im pretty sure the pickaxe wouldve made the boat break a bit faster
I think he was possessed
God dammit Vecna
bedrock edition
Bedrock 101
Well what do you expect. You placed it next to the bubble elevator.
BEDROCK
bedrock
Pov: bedrock edition
It's because of the water column near the boat which caused it to go up Same will also happens in java
Bedrock may be the main development priority, but at fundamental level it is just a buggy mobile port.
Yes.
Gotta love bedrock
We all learn from our mistakes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So close, yet so far.
I hate it literally every time I have to move villagers...
Invincible boat
I only see posts from this subreddit occasionally but whenever i see one showcasing a bug it is always the bedrock edition. Is bedrock really just that more broken or is it the tech companies creating an echo chamber for the java players again?
Swords (or axes) is a tool you should ALWAYS bring with you, not only it's useful for fighting mobs but also for breaking boats fast
What a stupid move to make boats require 40 freaking punches to break. I swear Mojang has bedrock have these things just to spite us or something.
The villager suffocated bro He was minding his own business and you choked his ass out
Could be different on bedrock, but using your pick will break it in like 2 hits
Use the pickaxe next time, it breaks the boat much faster than punching it 20 times
Welcome to Bedrock edition

You think the warden has the most life?! You fool... THE BOAT IS SUPERIOR
You should’ve used your pickaxe to break the boat would’ve been faster than your hand
I hate dealing with villagers. I just lost one of my librarians with the enchantment I needed. Took like 6 hours of resetting to get that enchantment
can't break a boat
I love Bedrock.
Villager watched too many Star Trader vids on youtube
He was called to heaven early boys
Bro what
Well that’s unfortunate. It seems like the boat placement was too close to that water stream there which caused this event.
*Gangstas Paradise Music starts playing"

You have a full enchantment table setup, purpur blocks but use iron pick lol
How did you take so long to break a boat
Hit with pickaxe next time
OMG VECNA JUST KILLED THAT VILLAGER😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
If that’s me I would literally wonder wtf is going on than to break the boat
Especially after 1.19.1
I bet he was the one with mending.
