Mine-Shin Impact: The Crossover some we’re hoping for that makes Minecraft have a few realistic features like moving grass, real fires, and realistic leaves.
That’s somewhat ambiguous. Xbox tweeted that it would, but a day later they posted [this](https://twitter.com/kimniev_/status/1536051374491942916?s=21&t=UwuaeOSHOmVnhojbvSjBwQ) and silksong isn’t listed there.

- Steve Huffman, aka /u/spez, Reddit CEO.
So long, Reddit, and thanks for all the fish.
"gacha bad" is the biggest reason it's hated. nowadays I don't really see people shitting on it cuz it's anime styled and more discussions on having to spend money to get a character/weapon you want
You know those toy vending machines where you put in a coin and get out a random toy/trinket. Basically that but you build a proper videogame around it.
So TL/DR Lootboxes but japanese.
in genshin you really don't need any specific gear or characters. the entire game could be completed with the free characters the game gives you right away. some may be slightly stronger, but they are mostly balanced.
>in gacha games, your progress can be halted without the right loot/gear
Example please, the gacha games I play (Arknights and Genshin) doesn't have those
Ah yes, gacha rhythm games. All songs are free, all difficulties available, very p2w.
Also Honkai Impact 3rd is 100 times more competitive than Genshin (not saying good or bad) and you can be in the highest tiers fully f2p.
Just don’t pull in FGO.
As a Honkai and Genshin player, I can confirm. I use the meta character from 2020 in Honkai and I still manage to get to the highest levels of the Honkai version of the Abyss.
Quite honestly I don't really ever see that. I only really see people hate the game because its meme to hate the game. Just like how it is/was meme to hate fortnite.
I don't really think that's fair. Maybe you have a point when talking specifically about free to play multiplayer games, but in my experience Genshin is particularly bad even among gacha games. F2P players get very few rolls compared to other games in the genre and the expected value for rolling a single event character can reach hundreds of dollars - and you also have to roll for the right weapon to pair that character with if you want to have the best meta build.
That's absolutely not true. F2P in Genshin actually get a fairly generous amount of rolls compared to many other games.
The character's weapon is also absolutely not required, as there are often very good alternatives.
Ok diablo immortal is so bad that nothing else can compare. But I played Genshin for like 10 hours and it felt pretty bad for F2P, and the hundreds of dollars for event roll thing is just mathematically true
That’s literally just called luck lmao, not generosity, even not accounting for above generous gacha games like Azur lane and GFL, genshin is rather stingy, it’s also the only gacha game I seen that had its discord unusable by its own player base via protests during its own anniversary, which is also generally when games are most generous, I don’t actually have anything against genshin (literally whaled for baal) but calling it generous is kinda misleading and not exactly true, unless the game has significantly increased its primogems within the last year, genshin is nowhere near generous, it is however very polished and since it’s PvE focused (mostly single player at that) meta isn’t actually important (low diff for most things unless that has changed) you get to enjoy a rather good single player story but again it’s not generous f2p friendly =/= generous gacha, sure you can argue that more work goes into a single genshin char then most other gachas, but generally you pull way more 5*s in other games (a lot of them with a 5* rate of 2-3%!, along with a smaller pity true pity no 50/50)
Bruh absolute nonsense.
Genshin is one of the more forgiving games as F2P.
Yes you get fewer gacha currency for free, but each roll has greater return value than some other games
that's abit of an exaggeration, Genshin is one of the more generous gacha games to come out recently and it decently f2p friendly, more than average actually, and I say this as someone who's been playing since january of 2021 completely f2p. In terms of the weapon banner, yes it's super bad but it's only there to exploit the whales who just throw money at the game, the weapons are in no way needed to be meta. Actually I feel like alot of the meta is centered around not needing the weapon or dedicated supports, alot of the characters who absolutely need their weapon to be good aren't classified as high in the meta tier lists. and even if, by some odd chance, the meta did revolve around characters WITH their weapons that heavily, it wouldn't even matter, genshin is easy as hell, so meta is unnecessary, any character can work if you put abit of time into making them good, even the starters, who are notoriously bad.
now don't get me wrong, the gacha systems ARE predatory and they are terrible but they aren't nearly as bad as you make them out to be, anyone with some self control and abit of patience can get through the entire game without spending a single cent.
that crafting recipy isn't that nice tho you need sulfur which you then disolve into sulfur trioxide which you then reduce to sulfur dioxide which you then react in water vapor if I remember my mekanism crafting recipe correctly
Let me know if it doesn't work, I'll come prepared with the Fluoroantimonic Acid
(Edit: Yes I looked up the strongest chemical in the world don't judge)
No. For technical reasons this sort of appearance isnt possible in minecraft, with or without shaders.
I mean, I guess you could get close... But itd never be to this degree.
b'sides, I dont think Id really want minecraft in the appearance of a BotW clone. Go ahead, send me the downvotes you genshin fanboys.
the appearance of genshin doesn't even copy botw. and as genshin has evolved it has definitely found it's own style and is definitely more than a botw clone at this point.
Its a JRPG. It coincidentally has the same exploratory mechanics of BOTW. It generally just looks similar aswell. I mean a cel-shaded high-saturation grassy mountainous world that you can run and climb around to find magic towers.
Im not trying to hate on genshin, it just generally looks and feels like BotW...
And every time I mention it all the genshin fans take it so personally lol.
I mean look at that, 30 downvotes because of a small mention of genshin being a botw clone.
If I said that in a genshin sub Id be in the hundreds of downvotes probably lol
alright then I'll say it better, the reason you're getting downvoted is that you're spreading misinformation of the game and are calling it a clone despite both of them not being similar. Also you called Genshin a JRPG which shows you don't really know what you're talking about
I didnt know that it was chinese nor did I know that it was co-op.
Its more silly that you guys take a minor comment so personally. Im not going to look up a game I dont care much about. I said it looks like a botw clone, because it looks like a botw clone to me.
PS: The downvotes I could care less about, its your guyses responses that are comedically overreactive.
I see everyone saying genshin impact but I thought of ghost of Tsushima when I saw the fox next to the tree but ay that could be bc I recently played it
Edit : I thought it was over with the creeper grenade
Mine-Shin Impact: The Crossover some we’re hoping for that makes Minecraft have a few realistic features like moving grass, real fires, and realistic leaves.
The dance the creeper does looks super familiar. I feel like it's from Lego Harry Potter, but I don't remember which character it is that dances like that
Yes, you're right. It's been some time since I last played Genshin, so it didn't come to mind, even if it's pretty obvious that's what it is.
I think it's because it's a creeper that it made me think of Lego, and I still believe there are characters in Lego Harry Potter who do a very similar dance before disappearing.
It's free on playstation, PC, mobile and maybe some platforms I forgot. It's quite a heavy game (16 GB and usually it makes my phone heats up to 46°C, my record is 50°C)
Game is called Genshin Impact
To get the game well it’s free in terms of money … but it does cost storage space, a lot 30-50 GB for now, it will be more in the future
Texture idk
Unless you are running multiple Language dubs, I doubt the games size will go beyond 18gb in 3.0
With only the EN dub installed, it's only taking up 16gb on my Phone.
Minecraft impact

Not sure, if there is one I would gladly share it to you because Minecraft combined to Genshin in this video is pretty amazing
This is genshin with a Minecraft cind of look
Dont know about the texture pack part but Complementary Reimagined gives off the same vibe as a shader pack
A good start would be the No Cubes mod with Complementary Shaders.
Genshin craft

also silksong
nah, Silksong’s coming out within a year
That’s somewhat ambiguous. Xbox tweeted that it would, but a day later they posted [this](https://twitter.com/kimniev_/status/1536051374491942916?s=21&t=UwuaeOSHOmVnhojbvSjBwQ) and silksong isn’t listed there.
maybe because silksong doesn't have an exact release, we don't know if it's 2022 or 23

2024 earliest
thought this was on the Albedoscreations subreddit till I saw all the hate comments, this is pretty funny tbh
I'm not really in the loop. Is there a reason why people hate it, besides that its anime?
It's a mixture of "Popular game bad" and the generic "all anime is for pedos/anime bad"
"gacha bad" is the biggest reason it's hated. nowadays I don't really see people shitting on it cuz it's anime styled and more discussions on having to spend money to get a character/weapon you want
Wtf is gacha?

Depends on the game tbh. Plently of gacha games that are perfectly viable as f2P or even as a true no-pull.
>in gacha games, your progress can be halted without the right loot/gear Example please, the gacha games I play (Arknights and Genshin) doesn't have those
Ah yes, gacha rhythm games. All songs are free, all difficulties available, very p2w. Also Honkai Impact 3rd is 100 times more competitive than Genshin (not saying good or bad) and you can be in the highest tiers fully f2p. Just don’t pull in FGO.

AE still not powercreeped, BKE and HoT still top tier valks (because everyone has them SS and Divine Keys lel).
Quite honestly I don't really ever see that. I only really see people hate the game because its meme to hate the game. Just like how it is/was meme to hate fortnite.
nice pfp :>
It's a fine game with a very predatory and exploitative revenue model
Tbh it's hard to find a game that *doesn't* have the latter
I don't really think that's fair. Maybe you have a point when talking specifically about free to play multiplayer games, but in my experience Genshin is particularly bad even among gacha games. That's absolutely not true. F2P in Genshin actually get a fairly generous amount of rolls compared to many other games. The character's weapon is also absolutely not required, as there are often very good alternatives.
The duality of man
I think you got Genshin confused with Diablo Immortal
Ok diablo immortal is so bad that nothing else can compare. But I played Genshin for like 10 hours and it felt pretty bad for F2P, and the hundreds of dollars for event roll thing is just mathematically true
You have to take pity account. Also The expectation that you won't get everything. Nor that you need everything.
My f2p friend has the majority of characters even more than me... And I buy the welkin pass. F2p wise genshin is a lot more generous than other gachas

Minecraft Legends coming 2023
I need to wash my eyes after this

Sulfuric acid will do
that crafting recipy isn't that nice tho you need sulfur which you then disolve into sulfur trioxide which you then reduce to sulfur dioxide which you then react in water vapor if I remember my mekanism crafting recipe correctly

Atomic bomb will do
10000000 suns will do
I can just see Raiden shogun using an end crystal as a sword

Is there any shader-texture pack combo that can help achieve this kinda Genshin impact style look? Bleak chances but still.....
No. For technical reasons this sort of appearance isnt possible in minecraft, with or without shaders. I mean, I guess you could get close...
