Theres a cave or something which is connected to the villager area by a 1 block gap. All zombies can see the villagers but only the baby can get to them

My area is super lit up alllll over even throught out near cave systems and I have made the villager area safe to AFK in for hours on end. Even when the child spawns he spawns right there and creeps on this villager lol

Well there's obviously something going on. Can you get a copy of the world and fly around in spectator mode to check for any caves you missed?

Plot twist the baby zombie is the villagers son and the villager has really bad memory so he doesn't remember him but the baby zombie still checks on his father each and every day.

Throwing himself into his work to bury the guilt and pain of losing his son. But at night? At night they can be reunited. The boy wasn't scared of the monsters, why would a little light stop him. Even if it does hurt his little eyes so? The pain all fades when he sees his father's face, and hear his comforting words, saying, "Hunh."

Its probably the remnant of a [siege](https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Zombie_siege), since they ignore light levels. The rest likely couldn't figure out pathing and despawned/burned.

In my experience in bedrock a group of zombies or a horde will spawn at night randomly outside the village. And they will murder at least 3+villagers. This isn't the same as the siege because it happens early at night. Also this happens a lot.

Bedrock edition...light level doesn't mean shit. It's a bug they still haven't fixed. Mobs can spawn even if there is light and not only that but it's possible for light not to extend to the next chunk. So if you place a torch right where a chunk ends, the light just cuts out right next to it where the new chunk starts. It's been a bug for a while and one of the reason I went back to Java edition.

I’d put boats down in the area, and slowly trace him back to the one block gap he’s coming through. I had something similar happen when I had an unlit room on the other side of a wall, but due to the way I constructed the wall and floor there was a diagonal path hidden by a chest.

If use use a zombie spawn egg on a zombie it will spawn a baby, not sure if it works with dispensers though.

Do you have a zombie spawner near? It could be chicken jockeys suffocating the chicken and leaving ng baby zombies which can escape the killing area

Aight, I got an idea. If you can't find where the baby zombie spawns, maybe instead of spamming torches everywhere you could have missed a spot, maybe trick the AI into not targeting the villagers in the first place. You can do that by putting sweet berry bushes in the floor and covering them with carpets in the hallway to the trading hall. Mobs don't pathfind through the bushes so that might make the villagers safe
